"I can't, either." Flynn followed after her, stepping very carefully as he ran. "You know, we can probably turn around about now. I think we've gone far enough north that now we can go south. Hopefully, they don't have trackers or anything. Then we're doomed.."

Summer ground to a halt, looking at Flynn with wide eyes. "Oh my god, what if they do?" She asked. "They could be anywhere - in the tents, in the bags... on us..."

Flynn gulped, and then slowly looked at his stuff. "I hate to do this, but..." He took the sleeping bag, and all the other stuff given to them by the Academy, and then threw them all on the ground, but then hesitated when he saw the compass. "Ugh.. What should I do?" He asked, looking up at Summer. "Without this, we might accidentally go east. Or west. Or worse, farther north into Canada." He bit his lip.

Summer made a small noise before copying Flynn, but only after removing her sketchpad. "We'll just have to get further into civilisation and find somewhere to stay..." She frowned at the compass. "I dunno... on one hand, it'd be really really useful. On the other hand, that's exactly what they might put a tracker in..."

"We could probably keep our backpacks, since they're ours and not the schools. So you can keep that sketchpad, since it's not the schools. Anything the school ever touched is something we can't trust, so we shouldn't keep it. So... Wait.. Couldn't you draw a compass?" Flynn asked hopefully.

Summer nodded, biting her lip. "It's worth a shot..." Turning around, she rested against a tree, occasionally glancing back at the compass. After a few minutes, she handed Flynn a rather plain looking compass. "Here. Test it out."

Flynn gulped, and then took out the Academy's compass, carefully comparing the two. "Umm.... It seems like the compass you drew is just a little off by like a cm, but it'll have to work." He took the Academy compass, and then tossed it among the rest of the stuff that the Academy supplied to them. "Okay, before Mr. Rael looks at his tracker and notices one group isn't moving at all, we'd better start putting as much distance between us and the Academy."

"For all he knows, we could be looking at a map." Summer argued, but she saw Flynn's point and started to move. With hardly anything in her backpack, it was a lot lighter and easier to carry. "We need to get out of this forest."

"Yes, yes we do," said Flynn as he ran, backpack near empty as all it carried now was the food he had been gathering from the cafeteria for the past few days before they left, and an empty plastic bottle that he had been too lazy to throw away after drinking it's contents when he had first arrived at the Academy. He was glad he kept it, as he could carry water in it. He glanced down at the compass in his right hand, making sure they were still going south.

Summer lagged slightly behind Flynn, the younger girl being unable to keep up the pace that he was running at. Still, she kept going, taking short shallow breaths as she spoke. "We are going in the right direction, aren't we?" She asked. "Wherever that may be... dear god, how big IS this forest?"

Flynn turned around, and then took a deep breath of air before pushing out words. "I have... Huff... No idea how big this place is, and according to the compass.. We're going south.. Huff... East..." He glanced down to double check, and kept running.

(So, thinking of creating a villain character who is like the son of one of the teachers or something and gets sent after Flynn and Summer, since that would be awesome)

(...DO IT.)

Summer made a small noise to show she had understoond and recieved Flynn's message. She tried to keep pace with him, but eventually her unfitness won out and she had to slow down down. "Hang on, Flynn! I'll catch up in... a sec..." gritting her teeth, she pushed herself, beads of sweat appearing on her forehead as she pushed herself to keep... running...

Flynn quickly took a glance behind his shoulder to see Summer, and then he slowed his pace down. "We can rest, but it'll have to come in the form of speedwalking. We have to keep moving, no matter what. Otherwise, we're totally done for. For all we know, Mr. Rael might already be coming after us..."

(I'll make him later. BTW, you should totally make a villain character too!)

(okie dokie xP)

"That... would... be great..." Summer nodded in thanks, cracking a grin. "I kept failing Survival for a reason, you know." She slowed her pace down until she was speedwalking. Still lagging behind the older Flynn, but not too much. "Hopefully, Mr Rael's just sitting on his butt at the camp. With any luck, he won't think to look until after our deadline..."

Name: Gill Worthington (Lol horrible name xP)

Age(14-18): 17

Gender: Male

Personality; Just like his coldhearted jerk of a father, Gill is someone who most people would want to avoid. He is sadistic, and seems to love nothing more than watching people suffer. This stems directly from his past, as his dad treated him just as coldly, and although he didn't abuse Gill, Mr. Worthington never really did anything with his son (Or family for that matter), so Gill grew up jealous of other kids. The most Mr. Worthington would do is force Gill to exercise, and become a perfect person. Bad? Yup. That leads us to teh' way he is now. Gill is also pretty stuck to his opinions, not changing them unless he truly has to, or if he sees clear evidence showing him that his opinion is wrong. However, underneath the cold exterior, although he doesn't show it too much, Gill does have somewhat of a heart, deep inside, as he loves his younger sister and his mother quite a bit. Although guess what the chances of him showing kindness to people besides his mummy and his sister? Near zero. But, if he falls in love... (hehehehe).

Looks: Gill has short blond hair in a crew cut, and blue eyes as he is part German(Can't remember exactly what Mr. Worthington's accent was xP), but also part Irish since his mother was Irish. Gill is tall, just about 6'0, and has a medium frame. He weighs about the average weight for a teenager his age. Gill is built, due to the fact that his dad always forced him to exercise, as Mr. Worthington is actually (Spoilers lololololol, not really, but kinda xD) a military commander for the EU, so naturally his dad wanted him to become as fit as a soldier. This explains the crew cut too, since crew cuts are sorta the standard for soldiers. Gill tends to wear jeans, t-shirts, and the like- he really likes wearing polo shirts though.

Power: Me still can't think of a power that could fit, so I'll edit this later today once I have more time to think >.<

Race: Half German, Half Irish. Basically, Caucasian.

Other: Not much else. He works for his dad since he gets good money for it.

Name: Natasha 'Nat' Partridge (oh yeah.)

Age(14-18): 16

Gender: Female

Personality; Natasha is very much a material girl, and a well loaded one too. The Partridge family is a rather rich one, and as a result Natasha always has the latest 'brat toys', as her mother calls stuff like mobile phones and games consoles, plus whatever else she wants. As a result this has made her rather b*^&$@y and spoilt - she's demanding as hell. Most of the time, she's calm, but if something go right or in 'her' way... clear the area, Nat has a very short fuse, and no-one, not even her friends, is safe during these moments. Normally, however, she's a calm albeit sarcastic girl, with a talent for being able to logically plan out many different things and pull them off. When she looks up from her mobile phone screen, of course. Natasha also has a knack for making people uncomfortable simply by looking at them, much like her mother. However, she also inherited an inability to trust people, and as a result she has a hard time believing anyone in their actions or words. Yet another reason why she likes to do things her own way, as she's the only person she can trust.

Looks: Natasha is, to put it bluntly, rather attractive - and she knows it. Goodness knows how Mrs Partridge and her husband produced this, but oh well. even though Natasha continually eats a load of junk food, all the exercise she's made to do helps keep her weight down, thankfully. She'd hate to become a short, fat person no-one's attracted to. She isn't the tallest person in the world, but she changes that by wearing high heels a lot of the time. Her face is never without make-up, mostly to emphasise her big brown eyes. The one thing she doesn't really like about herself is her hair - it's ginger. Like, really ginger- sorry, auburn.

Power: Psonic blast - as in, Natasha here has the power to cause someone immense pain just by locking eyes with them and concentrating. She can only do it to one person at a time, thankfully, but it still causes a lot of damage. Especially if she's angry.

Race: Human.

Other: Just like her mother, she has a British accent. Boom.

Totally. Accepted xD

Edit on Gill: He has power over fire. We had somebody who had a character with power over fire before but she never came back after like two posts. He can't overuse his fire, like, he can't burn down an entire city, because it takes a physical toll on him.

"No, I think it's been at least 15 minutes since we've been running. And knowing our luck, he's probably already looked at his tracker, and he might already be after us..." He sighed, and continued to jog. "C'mon. Hurry. We need to get back across the border by tonight. Course, we're gonna have to cross illegally." He grimaced at the thought of somehow getting past tight US security. "We'll have to climb over that obstacle once we get to it."

Meanwhile, at the campground, almost all the students had already gathered, completely unaware of the situation they were in. Mr. Rael glared at the students, and then counted. Fifty three. There should be sixty students total. Looking at his tracker, he could see two groups of three advancing towards the camp. But two dots seemed to be stationed, rather far from the camp ground. They didn't appear to be moving, at all. Muttering a curse under his breath, he called out, "Gill! Get over here!"

"If there's even a tracker in the first place! But there probably is..." Summer sighed, picking up her speed into a run again. She too grimaced at the idea of crossing the border. "It's going to be impossible! If Canada's surrendered, they won't let anyone through!" Slowly, Summer could feel herself working up into more and more of a state.

Natasha was sat nearby Gill, the one person she felt she could truly get along with on this dumb camping trip. Trust, though? Nope. She was busy tapping away on her smuggled-alone phone when Mr Rael yelled, fumbling to hide the device as he did so. "What the Hell does Sir want with you?" She asked, her accent completly at odds with everyone elses.
