"That," Summer grinned at Celia. "Is what I consider a 'bit of a push'" She sighed, rubbing her eyes. "Ah, I dunno if I'm up to stumbling around the school just for the sake of something to do..." Thankfully, the noise of students hit, and Summer smiled as her friends got up and made to leave. "Night guys. I've gotta work on putting these beds together." She grinned at Flynn, getting up herself.

(do I sense a timeskip incoming?"

Celia groaned, sticking her tongue out. "Guess so." she moaned, getting up off the floor. She made her way to the door, stopping at the edge. "C'ya Summer!" she called out happily, before closing the door and making her way to her room.

((fail post))

(Yep. How long should it be?)

Flynn opened the door, waved one more time to Celia and Summer, and then headed out. He walked back to his dorm, pushing past the last surge of students headed back to their dorms, and he unlocked and opened the door. Sighing, he walked over to the bathroom in the dorm, and took a nice, steamy shower. After he had dried himself and gotten clothed again, he walked over to his bed, and almost immediately fell asleep.

(mm... you decide, but I suggest a month like we said before xP)

When the door closed, Summer sighed and got ready. "The bed thing can wait..." she yawned, getting ready before flopping onto the bed and falling asleep.

Phail.

(XD Alright, everyone ready? One month timeskip.. In effect.. Starting.. NOW!)

It had been at least one month since his first day at Northlake Academy. Flynn woke up, showered, got dressed, and headed over to breakfast. So far, he had had dinner taken away twice due to having flunked a test for Mrs. Partridge, and for Mr. Smith. Otherwise, his time at Northlake had been fine for the most part. He was looking forward to Mr. Rael's survival classes- after a long month of learning archery, shooting, building shelters and rafts, building fires, and camouflaging, yesterday Mr. Rael had announced they would be heading on a weekend long survival trip when they would get to split into groups and go camping. It sounded so awesome- and there was only one more day until it happened.

(Plot changer yay)

"Seriously, can we move? Mrs Partridge is starting to freak me out."

"She'd just follow. Or another teacher would take up guard duty on Summer Patterson." Summer muttered, once again turning away from her cereal to add a bit more to her History homework, ignoring the scoffs from her roommate. She'd finally gained one, although she wished she hadn't. Eventually her roommate got up and left, causing Summer to yell "Fine! But I'm not helping with your art homework again!" Ignoring Mrs Partridge's glare, Summer went back to multitasking, hoping her real friends would show up soon.

(yep, Summer's still getting in trouble...)

Flynn went ahead and got himself a nice bagel with cream cheese and a carton of milk, and then went ahead and walked towards the seating area. He glanced around, looking for his friends- and then spotted Summer at table. He walked over to the table and sat down next to her. "Hey Summer." He took a bite of his bagel, then glanced over to see what she was doing. "Oh, that history assignment I crammed in and finished at like 11 last night.. You need help with it?"

Celia sat down by Summer, munching on an apple. She'd already done most of her homework -- waking up at six o'clock (at the dismay of her roommate) to do her homework. She was too tired at breakfast to eat anything, so she just picked up an apple. At the moment, she was a zombie -- refusing to talk or do anything else. She'd sleep in class and then catch up at lunch -- yep, that sounded like a good enough plan. Flinging the apple into the bin, she had a drink of water and then slumped down. Closing her eyes, she decided she would take a nap. There was at least five minutes of sleep to be done, anyway.

"Good morning, sunshine." Summer grinned, prodding Celia before groaning in response to Flynn. "I would love some. I can't remember what happened last year, never mind the uprising in Egypt or whatever in god knows what year." She moaned, moodily taking another bite of cereal. "The only homework I feel inclined to do early is Art. But the art teacher LOVES me for some reason-" She grinned, giving a wink. "So it's alright. History, however... in short: please help me or shoot me."

"Hey, Celia." Flynn sighed, and turned back to Summer. "I'm fine at history, but at least it's better than english." He shivered a bit at the thought of the frightening Mrs. Partridge. "Well, anyway.. Alright. So, that uprising in Egypt took place in..." He tried to remember. "I think, 2011. Dunno what month, can't help you there. I'd have to go get my paper and my textbook. The only way I survive in history is by reading the giant history book of modern American history."

"2011? Cr**, I thought it was 2009... the year's good enough, considering." Summer groaned, pushing her cereal bowl aside and picking up her pen once again, crossing out some words and writing in the correct date. "Can I just check something? What the hell was all this uprising thing about?" She groaned again, flopping forwards. "Urgh, I give up. When do we next have History? Please don't tell me we have it today..."

"3rd period. Ugh, man, if only we had Wikipedia. That's like the god of homework." groaned Celia, pushing herself upright and forcing herself to look at Summer's article. She sighed, saying "I fail at my classes but I just study heaploads before the tests. Sure, the teachers hate me, but you can't win all the time.". Frowning, she rubbed her eyes, which she could barely keep open. She got up and headed towards the hot drinks bar, mumbling something that sounded like "I need a coffee.".

"Don't worry, you're not the only one who fails at history. Pretty much the entire class sucks at history, except for a few people who either have intelligence as their power or are just crazy idiots who study every freaking day, even on the weekends." Flynn tipped back in his chair, and sighed. He tipped back and then finished the remainder of his breakfast. Sighing, he wished his grade in history and english would be as good as his grades in survival classes.

"Dude, watch the power talk." Summer muttered, glancing at Mrs Partridge. She turned back to her homework. "Third period? Aww, dammit!" After a few moments she gave in, folding it up and putting it away. "I give up. I'll just pull the usual trick of not putting my name on it and hope he never finds out..." Taking a sip of her long negelcted coffee and pulling a face, Summer turned to Flynn. "You all sorted for camping?"

"Yeah, and I'm excited for the trip. It's gonna be awesome. Since we know for sure already the three of us are gonna be in the same group, we're gonna get to have so much fun. Oh, and the best part of the camping trip is that we get to miss three days worth of other classes!" Flynn grinned at the thought of having absolutely no history or english for three days. Better than that was the thought having no homework for three days.

"Hey, I'm surprised I was even allowed to go." Summer grinned, pushing her very cold coffee aside. "Guess my archery was what sold it to Mr Rael or something. Who knows." Then she frowned. "I still need to ask if I can take my sketchpad and stuff with me. Course, I'll probably take it anyway, but I'd prefer to clear it." Then, going against her warning to Flynn, she lowered her voice and spoke again. "Anyway, if the teachers know about our powers and stuff... he'll probably have to let me."

"Yeah. He probably will. If not, you could probably smuggle one of those tiny little notepads that fit in your pocket in. Your power is gonna be super convenient- especially if we forget something like ropes or a lamp. My power can't really do much to help survive other than maybe set some wood on fire. Anyway, gonna go grab an apple." Flynn walked back to the breakfast bar and got himself an apple. He walked back, crunching on the juicy red fruit.

Celia strolled back, looking brighter and more awake. She sat down, sipping her coffee, grinning. "Ah, only one more day until the trip. The sort of things we'll be able to do there." she sighed happily. She was looking forward to getting outside. She was starting to feel trapped, but it would all change... "Don't know what to bring though. I have to bring my seal skin, but I'm sure they'll let me. One thing I know for sure is I'm leaving it here." confided Celia, playing around with her now empty coffee cup, sliding it across the table gently.

"Hey, setting wood on fire will be a useful tool out in the wilderness. I'm not messing around with sticks any longer than I have to." Summer grinned, watching as Celia sat back down. "Hey, maybe there'll be some water somewhere. I'm dying to see the seal in action." Having decided she was finished eating (and attempting her homework) Summer leant back in her seat, sighing. "Can anyone remember what we have first or do I have to pull out my schedule at risk of ripping it even more?"

"Umm... Today.." Flynn dug out his schedule from his pocket, which was neatly folded into fourths. "Well, today we have science first thing in the morning. At least I don't really suck at it, my grade was like a B in that class." Flynn sighed and then took another bite of his apple, and then after swallowing, had another bite. Although he was getting full, he wasn't the type who liked to waste food so he simply kept eating the apple until there was only the core. He threw that out into the nearby trash can.
