Croy was up as fast as they were leaving, as fast as he heard their footsteps leading away from their home- He was at Jades side, more loyal then a whelp.

Nathaniel looked at Tettra, and smiled. "come in, please? i'll let you sit on me."

she shook her head, hiding her face. "What if I drown, or you drown?"

"We'll go in the shallow part.." Nathaniel whispered.

She hesitated, and edged towards the edge of the pool. "We wont drown? Promise?"

Nathaniel nodded, "yes i promise." He outstretched his arms, for her to climb into.

Slowly, cautiosly, she climbed into his arm, locking up as she hit the water. A moan escaped her lips- she was panicking.

Nathaniel kept her close, whispering into her ear. Trying to get her to calm down. "i got you, love. your fine."

She was shaking, afraid, hiding her face in his chest.

"Tettra.. I got you.." He whispered.

"Please dont let go." She whispered, a whimper. She wasnt enjoying this.

He put her on the edge, and sighed. "that ideas gone."

She shivered, cold. "Im sorry." She whispered, looking like she was going to cry.

He got out and hugged her. "don't cry.."

"So sorry." Her hands, shaking, tried to hug him but faltered.

She was shivering not only from being afraid now, but also from being wet and cold. She lost all her color like that.

Nathaniel took out his wings, and wrapped them around her.
