The thanks didnt sound to grateful. He sighed- he was just trying to keep them company. When te truck stopped, he stood up. "..I think, its time for a camp." He said, nodding. He hopped out.

Axie watched him. He was the kid, she thought, who passed their cave in the first place. And then she was hungry.

Willard carfully jumped out with Luneth in his arms, he too was hungry.

Axie walked and got down slowly, and looked around...there were, more guys then she thought. No girls. she was the only girl? She shook it off, and followed him around...she would probably go hunting later that night.

Willard put an arm around her waist, pulling her close.

She put her head on his shoulder, watching the men buzz around to make a sucsessful night-camp. They were scattered, sleeping, eating, talking, like friends on a camping tirp. Everett was talking with a black haired, russet-skined boy around his age and setting up his own camp.

Willard stared around, he sighed.

She also noted the guards. One, was one of the few that staired at her in the van. She hugged him closer, as if to say, 'he is mine, and I belong to him." Before turning around.

I chewed through mech one, once. Ow. Its not as hard, though.

"...the sooner, their gone, the better." She whispered. No one but him could have heard her.

wait, are you still grounded?

She smiled back at him, and then waited, just sitting there as time passed...soon, it was the dead of night, and most were sleeping.

Willard smiled.. "what now?"

She shrugged, and sighed. "..maybe, we could sleep." She said; she looked tired enough.

Willard nodded.. "okay, but under a tree.."

She nodded, and picked up Kiara, heading for the tree.

Willard followed close behind her with Luneth.

She sat down and sighed, leaning back...she started to close her eyes.

She opened one eye and stroked him. "..sleep..." she whispered to his ear.

Willard nodded and drifted into sleep..
