Gale smiled gently at her, and then took his coat off and made it a pillow for her. "There you are. I'm going to go get something to drink. Sleep tight." He kissed her forehead.

Marie said, "Can you get me... a cup of tea? I don't feel so well..." She put a hand to her forehead, then took a sniffly breath. "I think I may be catching something..."

Gale nodded, "You got it. I'll add something it in to help clear your nose."

Marie nodded, resting her head on the arm of the couch, with Gale's coat under her head as a pillow. "Thank you, darling."

"You're welcome. Hey Ishmael, can you help me?" He turned to him. "Just helping me get some stuff out, you know?"

I got a mini fridge!

Ishmael nodded and followed Gale, then whispered sternly to him, "What did you do last night? You weren't just out and about, and Marie doesn't usually act that tired, she used to physical activity. And she's been acting awkward..."

OH MY GOD.

"I swear I was out and about at night." He looked at Ishmael with his usual face. Nothing looked out of the ordinary. "You see, today we were doing a lot of moving stuff around. It's nothing."

Well, we're going to take it back, because it's too big for the dorm. xD

Ishmael said, "I don't think I believe you... But I'll just have to let you have your secrets, I suppose. But if anything happens to Marie, I will hurt you." He put some water in the kettle, then placed it on the stove.

Marie curled up slightly on the couch with a yawn, smiling to herself.

FAIL. fail fail fail.

Gale looked at him, raising an eyebrow. "I take it you don't trust me?" He leaned against the wall, his usual tone returning to him. He flicked his hair to the side, something in his eyes flashing.

Ah well. I'm gonna keep looking!

Ishmael said, "It's not that I don't trust you... It just comes with being a father. I'm just scared something will happen to her, like her mother. That she might get sick, and not get better... And I don't want her to be unhappy." He sighed softly. "I'm sorry, Gale. I guess I just need to relax."

Gale shook his head, "No. I should apologize. It's only understandable that you'd get paranoid. Look, I love her to death, and I'm marrying her soon."

Ishmael nodded slightly and said, "I just want to make sure. And you do know... Well, I've been considering for a long time, and I give you my blessing. So now you can officially get engaged. I know she's very... traditional to those sorts of things." And it was true. Marie said she was going to marry Gale, but she didn't exactly think they were engaged. She had been wanting Gale to get Ishmael's approval, and she wanted him to do the traditional down-on-one knee deal.

Gale made a 'tch' noise, like he did when he was suprised. His eye brows went up. "You got it. I'm proposing to her- I'll make a plan for us all to go out for a dinner and do it then."

Ishmael said, "Well, you'd better do it soon, or she'll come and get me, thinking I'm the reason you haven't asked. She's been hounding me about it lately, actually." He chuckled, then poured the hot water in a cup. "Here, put the tea in the cup and let it brew."

Gale smirked, "Well... I've had a ring put away for a while now." He looked up to the ceiling, "its up there in my room." He looked at Ishmael, and nodded. He put the teabag into the water, and let it sit there.

And I have to make sure it only uses a certain amount of amps, and that it has the safety regulations met

Ishmael nodded once, then went back to the living room to sit with Azazel.

"Papa, what did you say to him," Marie asked in a warning tone, raising an eyebrow. "You'd better have been nice to him, or I won't let you live it down." She pouted at him, then tried to peek into the kitchen, to check on Gale.

"Relax. We had a civil talk, a good one." He smiled. "I didn't scare him off, okay?"

"All right..." Marie said softly, resting her head again.

Gale came out a few minutes later, holding her tea. "Here you are." He smiled at Marie, setting it down in front of her on the table.

It's probably because there are hundreds of people living in the building

Marie smiled and sipped from her tea, smiling at Gale. "Thank you," she murmured, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I really need this," she said to him, the smile still on her face.

Ishmael looked at the couple, then smiled at Azazel knowingly.

Gale nodded, smiling gently at her. "Just don't burn yourself, alright?"

Azazel returned the smile to Ishmael, her eyes gentle.

The school itself isn't big, but my class is.

Marie nodded and continued drinking her tea, cuddling closer to Gale, so his arm was around her shoulders. "You're so sweet," she said, finishing her cup of tea quickly. She gave him a quick kiss on the lips, then yawned.

Ishmael said, "So, Marie, are you ready for classes to start up again?" Marie shook her head and replied, "No. I really want to spend time with you, and mother, and Gale."
