I have a weird thing about voices. they have to be just right for me. xD

Marie smiled, then slipped on her shoes. "You're welcome." She hesitated, then went over to Gale and hugged him from behind. "I love you a lot," she told him, getting teary eyed.

Me, as long as they aren't higher than mine, they're good~

Gale blinked, and turned her around. "What's wrong? I love you too..."

That's true. I don't want my man to sound more feminine than I do!

Marie sniffled and buried her face into his chest. "Nothing, nothing's wrong..." She cried quietly, and her shoulders shook slightly as she did.

High voices on men are so unnattractive.

"No, something is up. Tell me." He stroked her hair.

I can see that, yeah. I like really expressive voices.

Marie wiped her eyes and said, "I just don't want you to leave me, okay? For some other girl, like my father did." She looked up at him and sniffled. "After my father got what he wanted, he walked out on my mom, and then she had me... and then she died. Then, Ishmael, my dad, took me in. I don't want to live without you."

Guys with voices that really range like that are attractive. I hate those "monotone" voices.

"I'll never leave you, trust me." Gale kissed her cheek. "I'm not like that."

I really want a guy who acts and sings, like me. That way, we can sing together.

Marie said, "You promise? Pinkie promise?" She held out her hand, her pinkie extended, like she used to do when she was a little girl.

Good luck with that one- most guys I know who are into acting are either gay or arrogant.

"Pinky promise." He wrapped his around hers.

I found a great guy, actually-- we were romantic leads in the musical. Then it turned out he liked another girl *sigh*

Marie smiled up at him. "Thank you, Gale. I love you so much, and I want to be yours for as long as we're alive."

I hate it when stuff like that happens so much.

"I can agree with that." Gale smiled at her.

Yup, it stinks. Oh well, I've got college to look forward to now.

Marie smiled dazzlingly at him, then gave him a kiss. "Okay, where should we go now?"

And it is said a lot that you meet your life partner in College.

"Hmmn... You pick some places."

Marie thought, then said, "I'd like to go to the park, and then the pier, so we can look out over the ocean without getting sand all over us."

Marie grinned, then led him outside, making sure to lock the door behind her. Then, she linked her arm through his and walked beside him, humming softly.

He smiled at her, his hair flowing behind him. Gale's hair tended to wave out nicely when he grew his hair out.

Marie took Gale's hand in her own, smiling up at him. "You look so handsome," she told him, reaching up to stroke his face. "I love it when you wear your hair down."

today was just long and boring xP

"Thank you." He smiled big at her, but then shook his head. "I might get a hair cut."

Marie shook her head wildly. "No! Keep it this length! It looks so good on you, I don't want you to change it. But... if it makes you happy, go for it."
