Alli watched his son, curious about what the boy was thinking about. Whenever Alli seen his boy in pure joy, he wondered. What would make a little boy so happy? It had been forever ago since he had a childhood.
Aviance leaned down and kissed Oliver's forehead, then lifted him from the water, wrapping him in a soft, fleecy towel. She cradled him gently, tenderly, singing softly to him. Oliver reached out, gently wrapping his hand around one of her fingers, staring up at her silently.
Aviance giggled and placed the tiny bundle into Alli's arms, which caused the baby to squeal delightedly. Aviance said to Alli, "He loves both of us equally, silly!"
Aviance said, "Well, you're the more playful one out of the two of us, while I seem to be a little more... lethargic at times. He also looks a lot like you too. Which makes me very happy!"
Aviance rolled her eyes and said, "I swear, if I keep having to tell you how handsome you are, I'm going to start making you pay me for every time I say it."
Aviance said, "You think I'm lying? I'm so much better than that, Alli. I mean, not to sound shallow, but your looks are part of why I approached you. I thought you were so adorable, and now you've become a man."
Aviance nodded and smiled, somewhat shyly herself. "Well, yes," she said quietly. "I mean.... we've done a lot of growing up since we've been together. You've gone from a cute kid, and become the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and the father of our child. And you're extremely handsome."
Don't worry, I went to senior prom without a date.
It's more fun to just dance with whoever you want, and not have to worry about if your date is having fun, all that stuff.
Aviance's smile faded, and she said, "That's because I'm going to be stuck as a teen forever. We usually stop aging, females, anyway, at about 19." She then paused, looking extremely thoughtful. "Would you... ever be opposed to me changing you? Into a vampire?"
Aviance said, "Well, we could always try, someday, if ever you wanted to. I just.... I know I may sound selfish, but I don't ever want to let you go. And I don't want Oliver to have to lose you, either."
