Croy sighed, exasperated. "Your a drama queen. Thats what you did. I can't even say your headstrong, cause you just do things out of the naivety of your heart. And the need for... something. Its as if you feed off of it. You wanna help the forest? Then start helping yourself."

He was obviously in a mood, considering the last position she had put them in. While they had both recovered- mainly, her- he still wasn't over it. Bitterness dripped off his tongue the same way the black poison dribbled out the side of his mouth.

"I don't know. Im always tired." He murmured, rubbing the back of his head. "I can't help it."

Jade just remained silent for a while. And then she did something she never did often. She sighed, not out of exasperation, but out of sadness, out of recognition. "You're right." She said quietly. "You're right. I've messed up with my behavior. And I'm sorry. I don't mean to be the way I am... I just am. I try to be better, for you, but.. I end up screwing up. I'm sorry." Her voice rang with sincerity, and a maturity she had been unable to display thus far. And then she went silent again, not wanting to make him more upset with her. Maybe his words were the slap in the face, the one she needed.

Jade remained silent for a while longer, until she murmured, "May I... sit by you? If you don't mind?" She looked up, gently stroking his ears, trying to make things right.

Avar raised his arm to Willards face and brought it close, pressing his forehead to his, brown and blue eyes staring at him in clarity. "You were cold- lets see if you can get warmer."

He sighed for a moment, before nodding wordlessly in her direction.

Jade pulled herself up, and gently stroked the top of his head, leaning down to kiss his forehead just once. "Croy... I know that I'm a drama queen, and that I need to change that, but I want you to know that I love you. And that I'm going to try and tone my excessive diva moments down a lot more."

Croy flicked his ears, he understood. "...I may be a deity- of sorts- but that doesn't keep me from getting tired. Or feeling mortal, even with all this crap I deal with."

Avar laughed a bit, leaning forward to kiss him, gently. "...You don't get it?"

".. I'm sorry that I haven't respected that enough. I'm used to being with my father, or alone. But you're different. You're the most important thing to me, and I haven't been showing it well lately. I hope that you can forgive me, and give me another chance to make things better." She said quietly, her voice staying even.

Jade leaned down to kiss him on the lips, then wipe away the bile on his face. "I don't know what I'd ever do without you," She whispered. "And thank you, for not leaving, or giving up."

Willard bit his lip, and then sighed. "... Not right now. Let's warm up first." He whispered, wanting to be in a happy mood for a little longer, before he told him of the plans.

He rolled over on his back, lifting a hand to stroke her face. "Oh, hun.... Me and you, weve been inevitably slapped together. Deity Duex. I wouldn't leave you, ever."

Avar picked up on his discomfort right away, though, and curled into his side. "Oh? Whats wrong....?"

"There's... Escape plans. Vinn isn't one of the Russians. He's on the other side- the side helping us creatures. He found someone to take people and escape. The problem? You're not in the best condition for that kind of thing. The plan- me, Axie, and Catalin go with that guy. And you get switched to another place, to hopefully heal. One nearby where me and Axie are escaping to." He wasn't sure if that was the plan- he had been a little off when he spoke to Vinn.

Jade smiled with relief, pressing her lips against his one more time. "I wouldn't change that, ever." She idly rubbed his ears, glad that he wasn't as upset with her as he had been before.

"I feel like a cat." He muttered, one of his longer ears flicking absently. "Feels good, though."

Avars eyes suddenly widened, filled with fear, filled with incomprehension. "They're taking you away from me?" His mouth hung open, as if he was going to continue, before his eyes narrowed and he closed it again, looking as if he was thinking. Minuets late, he opened his mouth again, eyes still narrowed. "...No! You're leaving me!" He suddenly let go of Willard, his teeth pressed together in a pathetic attempt at a snarl.

Jade said, "You don't mind if I do this, then?" She started scratching behind his ears gently, being careful not to make him uncomfortable. She liked when they could just sit like this, and relax, very different from her usual stressing.
