Aviance landed suddenly, arriving at a large mass of brush. It was black, stretching out its long brambles like skeletal fingers clawing at the sky. She looked up at it, suddenly feeling very somber. Something had happened here. Something terrible. The trees whispered of it. No animals scurried here. They avoided this place.

Jade was peering at old artifacts scattered on the ground. "This is where I used to live," She whispered to Croy, but out of despair or reverence, she wasn't sure. She felt a sense of belonging-- but, at the same time, she knew that this could never be what it once was. Once, it was a place of light, and joy. Now, only silence, and hatred remained. She could feel it, in the ground, in the plants, in the air. Hatred, and despair, and guilt.

Croy could not see this place- a place once so full of joy, but now of ruin- but he could feel it, with every bone in his body. The lingering fear. And hate. And suffering. In enveloped the whole of the area in a cloud, an aura of all the most deep, dark, and terrible instincts.

He could feel it all, and inside, his body shook with hate.

However, all he could say was a simple, "I'm sorry."

"...Im just worried. Is all." He lied, awfully.

Jade whispered, "We thought that our god would save us. But in the end.... we were ruined, and scattered, like grains in the wind." She reached down on the ground, and picked up an old doll. She held it to her bosom, tightly, shutting her eyes, and trying to take in its scent. She wanted, just for a second, to be standing back in her beloved home, the once beautiful haven in the woods. It was like Athens mixed with Rivendell, in the middle of the greatest forest alive. And the sunshine would pour through the canopy, dappling everything. Everything looked golden and brilliant. There was laughter, and music, all around. Jade watched the children running by, saw the elders talking and bickering amongst themselves. She saw her parents, her friends, her cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents....

But then she opened her eyes. And all that was left was a cloudy, slightly foggy clearing, with ruins and trash, all around.

"Jeremy, you're not just worried. Theres something more. I can see it. Tell me."

Alli felt something heavy falling around him, like a thick invisible blanket. His heart was pounding slowly, his breathing shallow. "This place... Is cursed." His eyes glowed a yellow.

He glanced around to make sure no one was looking or paying attention to the couple, and shook his head. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled something out- a torn, worn, and slightly discolored little black book. Opening it up, it was obviously not a book at all, but something that held pictures, protected slightly by thin plastic frames. He flipped through a couple- him with some girls, mostly, although there was one that looked like him holding a child- and pulled out one of a boy, about twelve.

the boy had thick frames, that made it hard to see the piercing orange they hid behind them; his hair was black, straight, and chalky, he was long a thing. his features were sharp and pronounced, like Axie, or Jeremy himself, although they seemed to fit him well, and, although he looked a bit queer as a kid, he would probably be very handsome as an adult. He wasnt smiling.

"This is Reuven. I told you about him, yes? Hes the one who... died. This is the last clear picture of him I have on me."

She looked at the picture, her eyes soft, and she ran her finger along the plastic. "He was a hansome boy, wasn't he." And now she looked up at Jeremy, quietly waiting for him to continue.

Elda blinked. "I've been drinking too much for years- I've become stupid. I can't put my finger on it, love. I really can't. I see... Something very familiar though. Luneth?" She was thinking hard.

"I... I see it now. They are both very handsome. But whats so troubling about the resemblance?" She whispered. "Why are you so... Afraid?"
