He looked confused again for a second, as if everything that was being said to him took a little bit of thinking on his part to understand. "... The others... with you?"

"Well, you and me are the only guys beside my son Catalin. The rest of them are girls, but don't get any ideas. They're still young, and don't seem like they understand those things."

After the registration period, Avar seemed dissapointed, and considerably more tired. "So no one who escaped with...." He whispered, trailing off.

Willard sat down on the bed, lifting him up a bit. "No who?"

Avar leaned into him, his eyes still closed. "Everyone else is dead already, arnt they."

Willard put his hands on his shoulders, shaking him gently. "Hey, don't sleep. And..." He lifted Avar's face, "They might not be dead. Just at a different facility."

Avar was quiet for a bit, and it looked like he had gone to sleep. After a second, though, he stirred. "...Your warm." He whispered. "And I trust you."

Willard smiled gently. "You trust me? That makes me feel amazing, seeing the fact then we first met officailly you kicked me a lot and bruised me, " He teased. "Come on, open your eyes Avar. Please?"

Avar laughed a little, his eyes still closed. "Well, I dont think I was doing to well yesterday." Opening one eye, he added, "Kicking you just happened to be on my mind."

Willard rolled his eyes, "Fiiine~"

The eye he opened was a beautiful blue, but the whites of his eyes were tinged with a painful looking red. However, he kept it open for him, and added, "I wouldnt talk to you if I didnt trust you."

Willard smiled gently, "Such a beautiful blue. I must say, it brings out your beauty any more. And good that you trust me- You and I can be close."

He closed his eye again,, drawing in a sigh. It should be noted that his breathing was slightly labored. "...Close? Yha, sure..." He whispered. "But then you would get killed... next time I tried to escape.."

Willard sighed. "Look, you're talking to the master of escapes right here. I was one of the only people to escape this place without being harmed. There was only four of us. And look, We're all planning an escape. Vinn is in on it too. He's one of us. Well, not a creature you see, but our side."

He laughed a little. "If you got out, then why are you back?"

"... One day Axie went out for a walk, and was gone for a while. I went to look for her, and found her tied up and gagged. And thats all I remember until we were in crates." He sighed.

"...Oh." He whispered. "They bated you with her."

He nodded. "They did indeed. But Vinn is a good guy. Trust me."

"Im not fond of any scientists right now." He whispered.
