Vinn shuffled right over to the labspace, restarting his computer and pulling out notes for another days work.

Jade watched the dark liquid on her skin, waiting. But nothing happened. It just oozed off of her hand, leaving no mark behind.

He sighed, and pulled up his chair, sliding into it. "Willard..." He said, looking him in the eye.

Croy smiled a bit. "Its not burning..." He murmured.

We filled your head with false memories those many years ago, enough to make you feel so much older. You... A lot of what you know has never exsisted."

Jade shook her hand, and the rest of the stuff was gone. Wiping it off on her pants, she had a big smile on her face. She pulled Croy into a hug, happier than she had been for a long time.
