"Can you cook, then? ...Or no."

Terra laughed, "Sure I'll cook."

He grinned, as he was very hungry. "Sounds good."

"What are you craving?" She asked.

 

[Self:.:Pity]

"I really love your creamy soups." He grinned, but it faded slightly when the bird man came in... with a beautiful lady. Oh, and was she beautiful. He had never seen such a thing in all of his days, and he was sure most all of his ansesters had never eaither- or anyone else in this place, for that matter. It wasnt just the way she looked, but what she gave off- an aura of sorts?- that caused her to be so attractive, but its not as if he thought about that at all.

"guess she was real after all." He murmured.

Terra looked a little jealous, and looked away. "... yeah." She lowered her head a bit, in thought.

He watched the pair, silently. "If he has something like that with him, why does he need us?"

"... So you're saying that she's better than all of us combined." Terra's voice wavered a bit- not like she was going to cry, but between a monotone and a depressed sound.

 

[Self:.:Pity]

He looked up at her suddenly, realizing what his attraction twords that woman was doing to Terra. He shook his head suddenly, standing up and pulling her into an embrace. "Not at all, hun, not at all. Nothing could ever be better then you and Travis."

Terra pushed him away, still not looking at him. "Lies, it's all lies. I'm the ugliest girl in this house, and you would probably be better off if I never..." She stopped herself, and sat in the corner.

He cursed under his breath, and slid down next to her, holding her close. "Dont say that. Never say that. Your beautiful, love, I... I love you, so much. I dont know what else to say. I would never be better of without you, and I would never give you up for anything."

"No where near as beautiful as her. Everett, I saw the way you were looking at her. You never look at me like that. Why? Because I'm dull and homely. Go ahead, be the freaking kid you should be at this age."

He frowned, gritting his teeth. "Well I cant help that, but I can choose who I would rather spend m life with."

"And so you're admitting that I'm ugly." She sighed, "what ever then."

 

[Self:.:Pity]

"No. NO!" He sighed, his teeth still grinding. "Your beautiful! Your lovely! Your not ugly, so stop saying so!"

She finally looked up at him, her eyes teary. "... Sure."

He kissed her then, and it was a meaningful kiss. "I love you, you know."

She was shaking in his arms, silent now.
