Terra had been having nightmares lately, and was just getting up from one. "... Ev-Everett."

He opened one of his eyes slowly, after a moment, before rolling over to face her. "Mmm.... what is it?" He murmured, sleepily.

"Where's the baby?" She looked highly afraid.

 

[Self:.:Pity]

"...Hmm? ...Oh, Travis. Hes right here." He sat up groggily, and reached over to the pile of blankets in which his son lay, sleeping. He held them up.

"I'm sorry, I... I just keeping having these terrible dreams." She felt guilty now, "I'm sorry for disturbing you."

He shook his head. "No. no, thats fine. Thats fine. You wanna talk about the dreams?"

"I keep on dreaming that Travis got taken away, and that you hated me for it. I've had it for the past three days."

He sighed, and then reached over to pull her into a hug. "Why would I hate you for it?"

Terra winced. "I don't know, really."

"I wouldnt hate you, ever." He whispered. "I really wouldnt. I couldnt. But I wold be awful depressed if that happened- you know I would use every fiber in my body to find him."

Terra relaxed a little, cuddling into him. "... you make me feel better."

 

[Self:.:Pity]

He kissed her nose, rocking her. "Isn't that what Im here for? Don't worry, Terra, everything is going to be okay."

He laughed. "Well, now that im up..."
