She smiled at him, her eyes already mostly, close, and she took them, weakly, to try and slide them on over herself.

He laughed quietly, watching her. "need help Tettra?"

She looked at him and stated to giggle, nodding.

He shook his head, "First, your putting pants on wrong. they're backwards and upside down." He snickered, pulling them off of her. He put them the right way. "you just slide your legs in."

"Your mean." She stuck out her tongue, but slid into the pants with considerable ease. They were obviously big on her. The shirt was a button up, and she had no idea how to work that contraption.

But first, he put the tank top on her. "You see these two holes? They're sleeves. You just slide your arms through them."

"...but there are three hole. How do I know which one is which?" She blinked at him. He had dressed her before, but he never explained anything.

"the biggest hole, at the bottom, you put it over your head. the two holes at the side is where you put your arms."

Toby smiled at Jackson and said, "Okay!" He walked along, spotting Jade easily.

Jade ran up to the two, catching Toby in her arms. "Heya buddy!" Then she started tickling him.

Toby laughed hysterically, squirming. "No fair!!! No fair!!!"

She nodded, but because it was already on, she didnt do anything.

Jackson laughed, watching them with obvious amusement.

Toby wriggled free, and ended up clinging onto her back. Jade walked into the camp, setting the young boy down. Then, she went and filled two bowls, one for Jackson the other for Toby. "Here you go, you rascals."

Jackson stuck out his tongue at her. "Ive already eaten, silly. Two bowls. I cant possibly eat anymore, despite the flavor.

Jade blinked. "You liked it?" She asked. Really, the only person whose opinion mattered to her was Jackson.

Toby started eating, looking up at the two.

He grinned, "got it?"

He nodded, quietly. Tired.

She smiled. "Yes, It think so." She said.

"Good." He laughed, kissing her. "good night."

Adam walked up to the small group and said, "Well, we're turning in for the night. Toby, you can stay with me." He preferred Toby over Jade. "And Jade... well... you'll just stay with Jackson."

Adam felt that there needed to be awkwardness, and now there would be. Honestly, it made him happy inside to make people squirm. He wasn't trying to be mean, he wasn't cruel, it was just his nature.

She smiled, but it faded after a second.

Jacksons head snapped up twords his companion, his eyes narrowed. what? What did he say?

"...Heya! Adam, I dont want to..."

He paused, as if to think about what he was going to say.

"To... to let that kid sleep with you. He can stay in our tent for a while, in fact, it should be good for him. Cause, you know, he would be with his sister. Imma supposed to keep an eye on him anyways, yha?"

"What's wrong?" He asked.

Adam glanced at Toby. And it seemed as if something mutual happened between the two.

Toby actually thought Adam was cool, no lie. Almost like a father figure.

Adam looked back at Jade and Jackson, then to Toby once more.

Toby randomly grinned and said, "Nope. I think I'll stay with Adam! He said he was going to teach me to whittle!"

Jade's mouth was slightly open, her eyes were like those of a doe caught in the headlights on a dark night.
