"I know." She giggled as he settled down between her head (Tangled in her hair) And Nathaniels.

"He's going to be our son soon- I know it."

"Okay." She whispered. "He will be a very pretty child."

Nathaniel laughed, nodding. "indeed."

"He will be white with red eyes as a kid too." She said. "I see. He will be your... 'albino.'"

"He'll still be cute." He grinned.

"you like kids very much." She stated.

"I really miss being a dad and a husband, that's why." Nathaniel stroked her hair, "I just love helping people, and caring for others."

"but you like being a loner, too?" She looked into his eyes. "I dont want you to be alone."

"It was the depression, that made me like being the loner. But now that I have you and Screech, I do not wish to be alone."

"I wont leave you. I never will." She whispered.

"thank you." He whispered.

She nuzzled into him, shivering now from the cold.

He began to walk home again, shaking his head. "We gotta cover you up good."

"It is very cold for spring." She whispered.

"Because its only the beginning." He whispered.

She nodded. "Your friends are missing the youngones... 'birthdate'."

Jade was serving stew in makeshift bowls that Adam had made from pieces of wood.

When Adam sat down to eat, he said, "Is there any salt or pepper?"

Jade said, "My stew can stand on its own." So, Adam took a bite.

"Woah! This is delicious!" He exclaimed, digging in. The others, seeing his reaction, did the same.
