Hey guys, just letting you know I won't be on very often, because I'm in Florida!

I frikkin love it here, by the way. Panama City beach is great.

Jade wandered along behind Adam, silently. She held Toby's hand tightly, in case anything should happen. She looked over at Jackson and smiled shyly.

Is not.

I hate Florida ._.

I like everywhere better then here. Except maybe the Bahamas. They sucked, other then the underwater part.

It took Jackson a few seconds to register this, but when he did, he smiled widly back, if shyly.

the tornado-y weather is not fun. :D

Jade quickly looked away, glancing down at Toby. Toby blinked, clearly confused.

Jackson caught up with Adam, falling into step next to him. "What do you think about her?" He whispered. "Shes cute, yha?"

Actually, I like this weather. The storms make me happy.

Adam said, "Uh... sure, I guess so." Honestly, he hadn't really thought about her appearance at all. Honestly, he was kind of using her, seeing as she was strong and fit. She could cook, and clean, and help them find food. That was all he needed. He looked back at her quickly, up and down. "Yeah," he corrected himself quietly, turning back to Jackson, "She's beautiful. Much better than human girls, definitely."

He nodded. He was all for the sex appeal. "Aint she? Ive never seen anything like her. And Ive seen a lot of notpeople, you know that, though, dontcha? Anyways, I was thinking, what are we going to do with that kid?"

"The boy? Well.... I suppose we could take him under our wing, teach him how to defend himself. He could help us defend the camp from animals and such. The girl could definitely be of use at the camp. Cooking, cleaning, food gathering, that stuff."

Jade and Toby were talking amongst themselves quietly, in their native language.

The tornadoes scared me!

He thought about this for a second, then nodded. "I guess so. What else could we do? I dont know, but that soudns like a good idea. But anyways, I was thinking, what if she has... a friend somewhere out there int he forest? She seems to be missing something or someone. What if they come and find us?" He was obviously a very rushed, impatient guy.

Adam said, "As long as we keep them alive, if anyone she knows comes along, they'll have no reason to get us."

Toby said to Jade, "What if Croy comes for us? What will we do then?"

Jade said, "We're making new lives for ourselves, Toby. We'll do what we always do: disappear." She ruffled Toby's hair, then watched Jackson, her cheeks becoming pink.

He shrugged. "I guess so. But, you hear about that really weird bat thing going around defending people? That spits acid or something? Thats what I am afraid of."

Adam said, "You let me worry about that, okay?" He glanced back at Jade then said to Jackson, "Why don't you try to get to know her a bit better? If you're THAT into her, it wouldn't hurt."

He shrugged, opened his mouth to protest, shut it again when no words came out, and fell back beside her. At first he just walked, smiling to himself.

Jade quietly said, "So, Jackson, where are you from?" She smiled up at him prettily, walking along with him easily.

He looked over, his eyes bright with happy interest. "I, er... I am from Nebraska. In America, you know? Thats where im from."

Jade said, "Nebraska... oh, that's a lovely name. Is Nebraska a nice place?" The places she had visited were very limited, and they only really pertained to areas around the forest.

He blinked at her, now very curious. "You dont know Nebraska? ...Well, it is, aahh, I guess its a lovely place, I mean, theres a lot of dull colors... but the land itself, can be quiet for miles.... so it can be beautiful like that." He smiled. "You? Where do you come from?"

Jade furrowed her eyebrows, trying to rack her brain. Then, she said, "I'm really not too sure. I guess, thought, I must be from around this area." She smiled, then said, "This forest, and areas around it, are really the only things I know."

He blinked, and then nodded. "Ah.. Ah, yha, I see. Well, then, im sure youll be happy to hear we wont be leaving for a while?"

Jade's face brightened immensely as she said, "I'm extremely glad, Jackson. It's nice to have company around." And the look she gave him said that she obviously was telling the truth. Then she said, "Do you miss home?"

This question caught him off guard. He tripped a little, regained his balance, laughed, and shook his head. "Ahh... ha. haha. What home? I dont have a home anymore. sure, I miss Nebraska... what used to be nebraska. Our own war tore apart our country."
