Jad was punching a rock somewhere nearby, to relieve her stress. Her knuckles would tear open, then the skin would regenerate and heal up in the blink of an eye. Then she would punch again, even harder than before. The rock had once been twice as tall as her, but now its size had diminished.
She was now much more unlike the Jade from the lab. Her skin was more peachy, her hair was more lustrous. Her eyes held a sparkle of awareness, she seemed more vibrant all around.
Avi dizzily stood up, wiping the dirt from her clothes. She frowned at the tree, then kicked it. Then, she sat down and waited for Alli to roll somewhere nearby so she could pounce on him.
