Jade heard disruptions up ahead, so she stopped walking. She closed her eyes, stretching what was like an invisible arm, out in front of her. Then she felt a jolt of electicity, and she yelped loudly, wretching.

Toby felt it too, and he let out a cry of pain. What was going on?

Avi kept rolling, laughing loudly. "Can't catch me!!!"

Jeremy answered. "Dani was the subject of many experiments at the old hellhole." He murmured. "Along with other things, he generates electricity inside his body in random and lethal amounts. We used to keep him in a special straight jacket because it was so wild... for a long time weve kept it under control, but he needs to let it out. Your persistance stressed him out, and now hes discharging. I wouldnt touch him."

Isaac winced, "o... oh..."

Alli grinned, "yes i can!"

Jeremy growled a bit. "I saved him, so I should get a say in your feigned romancee. Dani may be seventeen or around that, but he never aged mentally. Hes just a kid. I dont even think he knows ow old he really is." He growled a bit. "And he dosent understand you much or know why your here. Or why you want him. Hes not a toy for you to f*ck with."

Jade crept forward, then peered through brushes and bramble at a large group of people. Luckily, she had found her backpack and was now fully clothed. She looked at Dani, feeling sudden pity. Then she looked from Jeremy to Issac, and then back again.

Avi said, "NOOO! YOU CAN'T!"

Isaac clenched his fist, growing angry. "Sir." He started to shake, growing red in the face. "LEAVE ME BE, I LOVE HIM."

Alli smiled, "NOPE!"

"I hardly believe that." He snarled. "When you so willingly wanted to buy him off us. How many slaves do you have, anyways? How many girls and boys have you kept over the years in a little zoo, for you to pick and choose who you want to play with for that day? Dani isnt going with you."

Jade blinked, realizing that she had seen right through the hut with her long, invisible limb. But now her concentration had been broken. She could no longer see them. So, she crept forward and peered through a window. It was good that they were too concerned about the boy to notice her. Or, well, she hoped.

"I SAID I NEVER LIKE BOYS. HE'S ONE OF THE FIRST. I ONLY KIDNAP WOMEN, AS A GAME. I LOVE HIM. REALLY. THE LAST TIME I'VE EVEN BEEN WITH SOMEONE WAS OVER 300 YEARS AGO!"

Jeremy didnt even flintch. Dani still writhed.

"I said, no. NO. Hes not going anywhere with you."

He started to calm down, "for your information, i was planning on staying here or in the area. he and i were talking, and I said that he didn't need to leave."

"Like hell I would want you here." He sneered.

Jade reached out an invisible arm to touch Dani's back comfortingly. Although it hurt her a bit, she remained there, just to help him. "Dani....." Her mind whispered to his, "Don't be scared. I know that you're going through a lot right now, but it will be okay."

Isaac sighed, "just, leave me be? please, just... just let me love him." He buried his face in his hands, shaking again, out of frustration.

Jeremy was silent for a long time. And Everett was the one who answerd.

"Let the kid speak for himself."

The sensation she brought on him gave him more relief then fear, and, almost as an imidiate side affect of her touch, his sparks subsided to dull crackles. He was still shaking terribly, but that would soon subside, as well.

Jade mentally said to Dani, "Now Dani, you have to be strong, okay? You know which choice will make you happy, so follow it. And if ever you need a friend, or someone to help you, just reach out with your mind and find me. Can you do that?" Her mental voice was barely more than a whisper, like a voice of something greater than this world, this mere existance.

Isaac sighed, "...."

"I get it." He whispered it in real life, closing his eyes, settling down. He was exausted. "thank you."

Kyouri bit his lip. "I thoink hes touchable now, or at least, you can go near him."

Isaac reached out, and stroked Dani's hair. "Dani...?"

there was static and crackling in his hair for a moment, and Dani let out a little noise, but that was it.
