Avi pulled him close, holding his head to her chest, humming quietly. Then she whispered, "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me."

"Yha." He whispered slightly.

Dani was stirring a bit. Just a little, enough to open his eyes to see who he was laying on. But the image didnt come clear, and he whispered, "Sorrow?" Hoarsly.

"no, Isaac. She's with Kyouri, but if you want to see her, I'll get her." He smiled gently.

Sorrow kissed his chin, "you look handsom today."

Alli listened to her heart, "As you are to me."

Avi kissed the top of his head. Then she said, "I can't wait for this war to end. Then we can live together in peace, and maybe start a family, and we wouldn't have to worry about being judged for what we are."

Dani disregarded the fact he wasnt with his mommy figure and stated quietly, "My head hurts."

Isaac stroked his hair softly, "shh, I'll get Sora. maybe he has something for head aches. okay?"

Alli looked a little uncomfortable at 'family', but said nothing of it. "y... yeah."

Sensing this, she turned and looked at him. "You don't... want... to have a family, do you."

He nodded a little, shifting his body into a more comfortable position. "yha, okay."

Alli hesitated, and then answered. "In the future, but not now."

"Well, that's what I meant. I mean... we all know the war isn't going to end for years and years and...." Then her voice trailed off. After a minute of silence she said, "Alli... I'm scared."

Isaac set Dani down gently, and then got up and talked to Sora.

"... why." Alli whispered.

Her heart sped up as she spoke, her voice at the same volume as his. "I'm scared that this war will never end. nd I'm scared that you'll leave me to fight, and then you'll never come back. If you go... I want to go too."

Dani let out a whine, a little one, a nasaly one, keeping those lovely blues shut.

Sora came over, and stroked Dani. "Hey, its me." He picked Dani's head up, setting a pillow beneath it.

Alli shook his head, "I'll never leave."

He was still for a moment, then muttered, "Hi Sora."

"where does your head hurt?" He asked.

He ran his hand along where he said it hurt, his fingers running through the bright hair.
