I love the song. It's so 'epic' in terms of the strings and such. I just added mine in now =D

"Technically speaking, that is what I am, so it's alright even if you had thought so," Asher said to her. "But I have gotten a lot better ever since I met you. I don't know why, or what it is. I guess that the things I've done with you have made me more confident around everybody. But you don't know how grateful I am to you for it." He returned and enjoyed the kiss while it lasted and then chuckled, "That's true. But at least we're never usually rushed for time. Still it makes you savour the moments you have." He purred a bit when she nibbled his ear, then gave her another kiss before reluctantly pulling away and searching for his shirt.

Niice! are you just recording it for fun?

Lucy beamed at him after he kissed her, then looked around on the floor for her orange sundress. When she found that and her undergarments, she put them on slowly, occasionally looking over at Asher, just to look at him. She adored him completely, and it was obvious from the way she watched him, even when he wasn't watching her. She put her shoes on and said to him, "Thank you for making tonight so special for me. I really love your hometown."

Yup, pretty much. I just felt like recording something and I thought it was a pretty nice piece to do because it has some great elements to it, like the strings and guitars, the drum parts are fun to lay down.. etc. Now that I know how to record it all properly, I thought, "Why not?"

I should send you the backing track and you could record some amazing vocals for me ;D

I'm off to get some dinner. I'll talk to you later :)

Asher put on his shirt, which was a little creased, but not to badly. He could say they'd gone for a walk just a little ways up one of the higher grounded and rougher terrain areas if it was noticed. He didn't notice her watching him. He looked once or twice when she happened not to be looking back, and he couldn't help but still admire how beautiful she was. He finished changing and said, "You are most welcome, love. You've made it very special for me, too."

That's awesome!!! =D

And okay! I might be on and off anyway.

Lucy ran her fingers through his hair, making sure to get out all the tangles and getting it to look presentable. "Well, I think I'm just about ready... Oh wait, our coats! We can't forget those!" Lucy climbed up to the front grabbing Asher's coat and handing it to him, then putting her own coat back on. "Okay, now we're ready. Your parents would have been suspicious if we returned with out coats missing. And we probably wouldn't be able to come up with a good excuse."

It's just so amazing how my laptop came with recording software on it.

Lucy sorting out his hair reminded Asher of his mother before some kind of formal family meeting, and he had to smile a bit in amusement. He then thanked her and put on his coat, then got out of the car, offering her his hand and letting her out as well. "Good spot. We definitely would have been interrogated otherwise," he chuckled. He pulled her in for one last passionate kiss before they set off again, making the most of the moment.

<33333 That's so freaking awesome!

i don't think mine did....

Lucy climbed out of the car after him, giggling lightly and saying, "I'm good at predicting these sorts of things, Asher." She leaned into the kiss, trying to make it last as long as she could, running her fingers through his hair giddily. "Oh Asher, I love being with you like this. it's a shame we can't act this way in front of your parents." She held his hand tightly, walking along beside him, keeping up easily, her legs getting cold because she was wearing a dress.

Yours is a PC, right?

It's the Macs that come installed with all this amazing software on it, like the photobooth and such, as well as this recording software.

On a PC you'd have to upgrade so much before you can record on it, or buy a huge desk. That's why musicians have these computers, I believe.

Asher smiled in both content and amusement. She appeared to be almost drunk with happiness at that point, and he love that he could make her feel that way. He smiled against her lips and held her there while he replied, "I love it, too. And I wish we could, as well. I think we should at least give a little polite kiss every once in a while, I want them to think we are a real couple, after all." He chuckled and lead her back to the house. At least the cool air would take away any signs of flustering from their previous activity. He then let her in and they went through to the living room, where Sarah and Bill were. The news was on the TV, but they appeared to be talking more than listening.

"Oh, hi you guys," Sarah said when they came back.

"Hey, 'ma, hey Dad," Asher said, removing his coat and offering to take Lucy's aswell.

"Good walk?" Bill asked. There wasn't any assuming otherwise tones about it.

Yeah. Macs get garage band (which makes me super jealous!) I actually have recording software made by the American idol company, though. it's pretty cool.

"Polite kisses, huh? Well, I think I can live with that," Lucy replied, kissing his cheek randomly before continuing on their walk. When they got in the house, Lucy gave a sigh of relief, glad to be in the moderate warmth of the house. Her legs felt like they were being pricked with pins and needles, they were getting so cold. "Yes, it was a very good walk, besides the cold. I wish I'd changed into jeans before we left, my legs feel so weird right now!" She laughed, then handed Asher her coat before moving to sit on the couch.

Yeah, that's what I'm using. For what I want it for now, it's great. I will outgrow it, but for bedroom recordings, it's perfect for me :)

Oh, wow, sounds interesting. I've never heard of it, actually.

How's your day been, anyway? :)

"I hope so, it's as much as we can get in," Asher chuckled. When they were settled in, he put their coats over the back of a dining chair, and then came and sat next to Lucy on the couch, closely, and taking her hand in his.

"It definitely does get chilly here around now. Even in the summer months, late at night there's always a chill to the air. But it's never windy, and usually it's sunny for a lot of the time because of the clear skies," Sarah said. "Where did you guys go, anyway?"

Asher didn't want to lie. So he just didn't tell the whole truth. That seemed fair. He replied, "We went down town and had a look around, I showed her a few spots along the way. We spent a little while down there, and we talked for a good while, then took a slow journey back again. Lucy finds it all interesting, she says it's all so different to Oklahoma."

Sorry I left so randomly, I had to rush to make it to an appointment.

Yesterday was okay. I felt very... blah. How has your day been?

Lucy gave Asher's hand a gentle squeeze as she listened to Sarah, nodding slightly as she spoke. "I definitely love being in your town," Lucy said. "My home town is a lot like an old western, but here it's... different. Very Victorian, in a sense. And the mountains in the backdrop give it an extra something." Of course, she didn't mention their little detour. It wasn't necessary to bring it up, and if she did, it would just make things really awkward.

That's quite alright :)

Ah, much the same. Been spending too much time around ill people and am now ill myself.

And I've only been given a mammoth art task. When my teacher saw the one artist I wanted to do so far, she told me to look at the symbolist and romantic movements and connect their art to my research. It's only stuff like what you'd find in the Louvre and the National Gallery, like Da Vinci and Michaelangelo and other ridiculously good artists. Oh well, I haven't had much of a social life for the past year. Why start now? xD

"I see. We've never really been outside of this state. Small town folk. I guess most people our age are," Bill said. "It's you guys with big dreams and all that energy that makes you travel around." He chuckled a bit.

"That's true, I suppose. So, will you take a trip out after the wedding?" Sarah asked.

"You mean a honeymoon?" Asher pointed out. It was almost like his mother didn't see it as that because she still thought it was a relationship based up Asher's reliance on Lucy. At least it meant they didn't expect them to be doing anything, but he did find it frustrating. "Yes, we'd like to go sailing down the east coast. The trip will take as long as it takes, and we're looking forward to it."

I'm sorry you're ill! D: Get better soon!!!

xD hahaha. I'm trying to gain more of a social life, actually. I'm auditioning for a play on Saturday, and I'm trying to hang out with friends whenever I can.

Lucy added, "And not those boats with the motors and stuff, but in an actual sailboat! We talked about it, and thought it would be a good idea in comparison to sailing around in the gulf of Mexico. Besides, with all of the fears of communism in the South American countries, it would just be easier to sail along down the east coast, around the tip of Florida, then stop in Georgia. That way we aren't pushing our luck by being there too much." Clearly, Lucy had been thinking about the trip for a very long time, and had a pretty good plan in mind.

Ah, that's alright. I will survive! =D

So is this a play in Georgetown?

Asher tried not to chuckle too much at how far Lucy had delved into and thought through this trip, in terms of whether it was sensible due to current foreign affairs and such. Honestly, it had barely crossed his mind. Bill seemed to be thinking the same thing as him, but, of course, with Sarah being a mother, she was quite keen to know that this trip was perfectly safe for the two of them.

"Oh, that sounds like a lovely idea," she said, and then asked them, "Will you take any lessons before you go..?"

"In sailing? 'Ma, please stop worrying. You know I know how to, and I can teach Lucy when we get out there," Asher replied, smiling reassuringly.

Is it like a cold?

Yup! I might do some plays in the next bigger city over, if I can.

Lucy said, "And if it's at all possible, I could get Asher to give me sailing lessons up north somewhere before we go. that way, once we hit the open sea, I'll be prepared. It'll be nice, to have something to do together outside of the city anyway." She smiled at Asher, giving him a quick kiss, before continuing. "And for the most part, we won't be sleeping on the boat. We'll stop at small towns along the coast and stay at some bed and breakfasts there, so we can get a feel for the different areas."

Yeah, it was a headcold, and then it spread to my throat a bit today. But I had a screaming headache and I was so tired. Pretty much everybody's got a cold right now, so I bet they're all going to say that I should have just dealt with it, but it was really bad, I slept for hours when I went back to bed and felt awful.

Ah, that's cool :) I'm glad you're back into doing these kinds of things. It's what you need =D

"Well, that's easy, he can take you out while you're here," Bill suggested to them.

"That's true. I mean, we can make a plan for that, as well, among everything else to do here, if Lucy would like me to," Asher agreed, returning her kiss gently while it lasted. He then said, "I think it's good to spread it even, actually, so long as you don't get too seasick . Sleeping out on a boat is so much fun, really."

Sometimes your body just needs a day to recharge and rest. I think you made a good choice. And it's not like you miss school a lot anyway.

I think so too, actually.

Lucy nodded excitedly and said, "I'd love to make some time to go sailing around here! It's definitely better than just sightseeing-- it's like actually getting involved with the town, the hobbies people have here. I can't wait!" Lucy couldn't help laughing at what Asher said. "Hopefully I won't get seasick, or you'll have to deal with a cranky, sick Lucy. And that would not be good at all."

Nope, I haven't had a day off sick in two years xD

Thing is, my dad actually suggested it. He's not feeling well, either, and he was actually hoping all morning I'd ask to stay home. Eventually he said he just couldn't face driving there, so we both stayed at home :)

Is it a play I'd know?

"Well, it's settled, then. We'll see what the weather looks like in the next few days and take it from there," Asher said smiling. It would be great to get back on again. He only hoped he remembered everything; but it usually was like riding a bike, one never forgets how once they know. "Yeah, I don't think a sailing trip, particularly on the sea is a particularly good idea if you get seasick. We'll have to look into that."

Wow! You're definitely resilient!

Your dad sounds like an awesome guy!

No. It's not a play i think anyone knows, honestly. xD

I'm gonna go for a while. I'll be back later!

Lucy nodded, then said, "If the sailing trip doesn't work out, we could always just have a road trip, or go somewhere else. For our honeymoon, the options are endless, you know." She scooted closer to Asher, cuddling up under his arm before giving a semi-loud yawn. "I'm sorry, I'm really tired right now, and it's not even that late! You'll have to forgive me for that, my body's trying to make up for the sleep I lost lately."

You could say that, yes xD

He is. I love him to bits. He's so funny <3

Right now, he's been going to the gym a lot and he's suddenly got loads of energy and he just goes about the house boxing thin air so I've begun to call him "Rocky" xD

Ah, I see. That's usually the case.

Cool. I'm off to guitar lessons soon anyway. So I'll see you later :)

"I know. To be honest, the main objective is just to have some fun and spend time just with you, so whatever we do doesn't phase me in the least," Asher agreed. He tucked her tightly under his arm, close to his side.

Sarah smiled when Lucy yawned and said, "Oh, we totally understand. It has been very difficult to sleep lately.. But I think it's safe to say Bill and I can sleep soundly tonight, knowing that our son is safe."

Asher told Lucy, "Honestly, if you're tired, you can just head to bed. We don't mind."

:3 Well then, I WILL say that!

XD That's awesome!!! I want to meet your dad and work out with him!

It's about Santa.

Lucy nodded weakly at Sarah, then smiled up at Asher tiredly. "Sleep definitely sounds good right about now. I think I'll go ahead and get some shut eye. I assume I'm staying in the guest bedroom, so I'll go on and set up camp in there. Good night Bill, Sarah." Then, she wrapped her arms around Asher and gave him a kiss, a little bit longer than the polite ones from earlier. "Good night Asher. I love you," she said softly, smiling up at him. She cuddled close to him for a few seconds, before getting up and going to the guest room.
