5 feet, three inches. So... about 160 centimeters.

Lucy laughed, then kissed Asher's cheek, beaming up at him adoringly. "Well, I'm not like most people, am I? I'm very different, in my opinion. Besides, with your dark looks and artsy vibe, how could I not be... well, taken by you?" She traced her fingers along his skin, humming softly.

Ah, I see. You're not that short. I mean, when you said, I expected at least below five feet.

I'm five feet seven inches or so :)

Today was definitely a very sweet sixteen. What a wonderful day <3

"And that's exactly why I love you. Because you're not like any other girl I've ever met," Asher told her, returning the kiss to her cheek gently. He chuckled a bit and said, "So at least you admit my looks are dark. That tends to be the general impression. But not taken in a good way.@ He smiled, and purred slightly at the feeling of her fingers brushing his chest.

Yayayayay!!!! I'm glad your special day rocked!! =D

Lucy withdrew from him slowly, then finally managed to get out of his coat. She put her coat back on, then took Asher's hand and said, "Let's get going, before we go too far to stop ourselves. Show me around your town!" She gave his hand a squeeze, then waited to see where they would be going first.

:) Thanks again for your message and such!

Asher took her hand and squeezed it. Chuckling, he said, "I think that's probably a good idea, actually." He smiled and started to lead her down the road. It was a little walk into town, but it was picturesque, in any case. He swung their hands a little as he walked and then said, "I forgot how much I really love it here."

You're very welcome! =D

Lucy walked along beside him, humming softly as she looked around at the place where had Asher had grown up. She smiled up at him when he spoke, and said, "It's funny, isn't it, how coming back can bring the best memories to the front of your mind?"

How's your week been, anyway?

"Yeah. I think I've come here with an open mind this time. And I'm a happier person, and that, I think, has helped to make me realise just how beautiful it is here," Asher said, nodding a little bit. They entered at the edge of the small town. There wasn't much to speak of, it was very like any other small town, a microcosm of that sort of society, except for the amazing surroundings, of course. There were shops, cafes and such. The shops were no longer open, only a few cafes and off licences were left now, but it was nice just to look around.

Well, here's how life works for me: failure.

I'm now back at home, waiting until I feel ready for college. Things got really bad for me, and I decided it would be best for me to take time off.

Lucy looked around with interest, a smile of wonder on her face. To many people, every small town looked just the same, but not to Lucy. She saw different things in each one, could get a different vibe from every place. They held different stories and histories, there were different people. The weather could be different too, and that spoke volumes about a town. "I think this is a great town," she told Asher, looking up at him briefly.

Oh, gosh, I had no idea, that's not good at all. I thought you were beginning to get used to it?

Do you want to talk about it, or would you prefer it if we didn't?

Asher looked down at her, before looking around again, a panoramic scan of the town around them, and then asked her, "What makes you say that, then?" He was interested to know just what it was that she liked about here, just out of pure curiosity, and maybe s that he could also know what places she would like to see.

I'll tell you about it, but not on here. get on facebook or msn.

Lucy said, "The air here is cool, and fresh-- probably something to do with the mountains. And the old movie theater over there is really cool, very fifties. I like the styles of the buildings here-- it's different from my hometown, to be sure. This has a victorian style charm, while my hometown has a very country feel." She walked along the sidewalk beside him, gripping his hand tightly.

"Well, a country feel.. Your town sounds interesting to me. I'm excited to see it," Asher said. "But you're right about here. It feels open, free, literally like they're more oxygen in the air." He put his other hand into his coat pocket, as it was starting to get cold, and sighed contently, watching as the fog rose in the air as he did so.

Lucy said, "Just think old westerns, and that's how my town looks. Sometimes I feel like I've traveled back in time when I'm back home, but it's not a bad thing. Sometimes an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the open air of the country, is just what you need." Lucy looked up at the sky, smiling at the thousands of stars hanging in the sky.

Asher was visualising that, seeing Lucy there, with Eric. He could see it, actually, quite clearly in his mind. He asked her, "So, I never really asked you why it was that you came all the way to New York, at only sixteen years old, living with your brother. I mean, it seems to me that you get along with your parents, unless I'm misunderstood about that."

Lucy's smile faltered a little bit, and she stopped walking to collect her train of thought. "Well..." She began, but hesitated, unsure of how to word her former situation. Finally, she told her story, her thought looking somewhat distant. "Well, when I lived at home, me and my parents didn't really get along very well, We argued a lot, mostly over what I was going to do with my future. I wanted to see the world, maybe do some journalism or something. My parents wanted me to stay in town and work at a store or something. So when Eric left law school, I decided to join him and see New York. Once I got there, I chose to stay."

"I see," was Asher's reply. And he did see. He knew very well exactly what Lucy must have been feeling at that point, parents being unsupportive of her hopes and dreams. He squeezed her hand and said to her, "I should probably tell you something. That if ever you want something, you dream about doing something, being a certain kind of person.. Don't let me get in the way of that." He could never forgive himself if he was the one stopping her from reaching for something she wanted.

Lucy listened to Asher intently, and then... she started laughing. It was like a wave of relief had hit her, knowing he felt the same way towards her that she felt towards him. "Asher, I think we're running in circles," she told him, smiling. "Because I feel the same way. I don't want to stand in front of your dreams of being an artist. But you should know that my dreams all include you now. They'd be nothing without you in my life. A life without you would be no life at all! I've learned that already, and I don't plan on losing you again." She pulled his face down to hers and kissed him, their lips soft and warm compared to the cold night around them.

Asher seemed surprised, but couldn't help but smile when she laughed when he realised why she had done so. "Then we certainly are running in circles. I would say the same about how I feel about you, and my dreams as you would about me and yours. " When she pulled him into the kiss, he kissed her in return. Loving to make the most of his recent gain in strength, he picked her up, wrapping her legs around his waist and then held her to him while he continued to kiss her.

How are you today? :)

Lucy threw her arms around Asher's neck, kissing him passionately as she clung tightly to him, so she wouldn't fall. It still surprised her how strong he'd gotten over the past year. He'd been able to pick her up before, but not as easily and quickly as he did now. She started french kissing him, knowing she would end up wanting more than just kissing by the end. But she didn't care, they could easily find a private area, or they could go back to the car. She only hoped Asher's parents wouldn't get too worried about them if they remained gone for a while.

I am excellent :) It's non uniform day tomorrow and it's also Friday, although it feels like it should be Thursday for me. I love four day weeks! And now I'm playing piano and talking to you, all of which is wonderful :)

And you?

Asher kissed her back equally as passionately, happily complying and french kissing her in return. Yes, it probably wasn't the best thing if they were planning to keep control. Maybe that wasn't the plan after all, perhaps they were just far too unwilling to break tradition to an extent. He groaned slightly against her lips and murmured, "I hope you know you're making me want you so badly."

Woo! that sounds fabulous!

Well, I'm okay, just a bit tired. I've started knitting a scarf for my friend. :)

"Well, I want you too," she whispered, her voice muffled by his lips, a smile playing on her face. "I need you," she corrected, going back into kissing him, stroking the back of his neck with her finger. She knew she had very little self control when it came to him, but he started it that time. She trailed her tongue along his lip before french kissing him hungrily, pushing and rubbing against him feverishly. He was too good at seducing her.
