"Not as much as I do, though," Asher chuckled, "I love how somebody who cannot sing at all, that being Robert Plant, is actually amazing at it in his own way." He tried not to chuckle at her expression-- it was one she didn't use too often. "Well, if you don't get it, it's your own fault for wanting me to take my tablets to give you some peace," he said, "At least I'll be able to sleep without it, because the medication will do that for me, but you.. Well, you're in for a long night!"

It's crazy. During the day, since 'm home alone, I just sit here and hope someone's on. xD

Lucy frowned and said, "Well then, I won't give you a good morning kiss, if that's the way it's going to be! I'll just stay up all night! Then, I'll wake you up in the morning, and then I'll go to sleep and you won't have any company all day!" She laughed triumphantly, then went and set her suitcase near the door. "Do we need anything else?" She called from the living room.

I feel bad now, because I used to be on during the day a lot, so I was here for you. But now I sometimes just take one look at a post anywhere and just think, "Ugghh I can't do this." I'm sorry D:

Ah, I had wondered.

"I'll just dose up and drift off again, then. I can take them up to four times a day," Asher replied, and then grinned at her, laughing triumphantly himself, "And I'll be able to outsleep you so I can drive anytime while you're too awake to sleep." He picked up his suitcase, then went into his studio and just took his sketchbook and pencils. He then also picked up his crutches and the doctor had even suggested he take a wheelchair, in case things got really bad. He set them all down by the door and then slipped on his leather jacket befire going into the kitchen to get some snacks for the journey. "Well, unless there's anything else that you specifically need," he said from in the kitchen, "After I've got us some food, we look good to go."

It's okay, don't worry about it! I need to find things to do around the house or something. xD

Yuppp~ The villain is one of the BEST Disney villains around.

Lucy said, "Let's see... I'm pretty sure I've got everything, so I'm all set to go!" She smiled when she saw Asher wearing his old leather jacket again. She had liked wearing it, but seeing him in it was much nicer. She gave a wolf whistle and said, "Hey there hot stuff! You're looknig gorgeous in that leather jacket of yours." She crossed her arms and smirked, winking at him once. "I might have problems keeping my eyes on the road!"

It's good, in a way, that I'm not spending so much time on here. Because I've been telling myself to cut back for ages. But, at the same time, it's bad, because it's due to disinterest. Though, I think it was just because I was feeling down until this afternoon. I can already feel myself being more involved.

Asher chuckled and said to her, "Well, okay, I tell you what, if you manage to not stare, save it all up through the journey, I'll wait to take my painkillers and give you your goodnight kiss. I'm leaving that open to your own interpretation, because your reward is as big or as little as you want it." He smiled coyly and started to slip on his favourite pair of shoes-- at last, he could wear his red Chucks again. The smallest little details made him so happy, reminded him that he was really home.

Yeah. I basically just get stuck at home, I don't have a car so I can't really go anywhere. so i don't really go out too much.

Lucy blushed slightly and said, "Well... I suppose I could deal with that. But that means you'll need to stay well rested before you give me my goodnight kiss, okay?" She smiled coyly at him in return, walking up in front of him after he'd put on his shoes, and tickling under his chin. "But I hope I'm allowed to kiss you now, because I'm going to." She drew him close and kissed him, keeping it gentle but adding passion in it. Those red chucks had been by the door for what seemed like forever, and she was glad they were getting used again. It meant there was a return to normalcy.

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Well, me, too. But I'm one of these people that never gets bored. I've never been truly bored in my life, I swear.

"Oh, okay, well, I'm not too bad now. I'll catch up on a little sleep on the way, and I'll be ready for however much of a goodnight kiss you ask of me," he smiled at her, before kissing her back equally passionately. "Despite all my jokes," he murmured, "You are always allowed to kiss me."

Well, I'm off to bed. 'Night!

Oh, and I'm working tomorrow (if you can call building a giant tortoise working xD), so I'll be home in the evening

"Oh, I'll ask for a very good goodnight kiss," she told him after he pulled away, smiling slightly. "And... I'm glad that I'm able to kiss you whenever I want. Because if you actually didn't let me kiss you, I'd get very grumpy and irritable. And I don't think you'd like me then, at all." She cuddled close to him, breathing in his scent, before she gently pushed Asher down into his wheelchair. "Thank goodness we have a lift," she said.

I guess maybe I'm just good at making the best of a situation and finding something to do.

"That is partly why I would never not allow you to kiss me, and that partly means that I never have seen you terribly irritable around me, and therefore partly why I always like you," Asher laughed. "You know, it's only for when I really can't walk. It's not necessary for you to have to push me at this very moment."

Right now I'm having my own "Lord of the Rings" marathon =) Gotta love Tolkien

So how was the day for you? Did you have a good time?

Lucy said, "I'm not taking any chances! Besides, it's much easier to let you hold the bags, and for me to push you, than to carry the wheelchair separately along with all the other things." She smiled slightly, then pushed the wheelchair into the lift, pressing the first floor button repeatedly, making sure they had all the bags and such. "When we get out to the street, I'll wheel you to the parking lot."

I've never been hugely into them, actually. Well, in fairness, I've never really read through or seen enough of them.

I've been reading A Thousand Splendid Suns, and then The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini. They're amazing books. And it's interesting to read and learn so much about Afghanistan, because I knew virtually nothing about it.

I had a wonderful day, thank you. Georgina is coming along well. Although she may not be called Georgina for much longer. Caroline and Nicole have said they'd like to name her Tarryn xD

"Taking any chances," Asher repeated. "Honey, I've been walking around the apartment all morning, I think I'd have been just fine," he chuckled, "Still, thank you, anyway." He held onto the bags as the went down in the lift, and right up until they reached the car, where he got up to put their suitcases in the boot, and fold up his wheelchair and put it alongside his crutches.

Lucy laughed and said, "Okay, okay, I know. I'm sorry for being such a big worry wart, I just am." She carefully put her suitcase in the boot of the car, then opened the driver's door and climbed in, then pulled out her keys from her pocket. "I can't wait to hit the open road! The big blue sky above, the endless land right ahead. I love it." She sighed happily before bringing the engine to life, content to feel the car shudder and vibrate under her hands and feet.

Tortoise, so Yertle wouldn't work, unfortunately. But it still works with Tarryn because of the alliteration. I told them if they wanted to name it Tarryn, they could without my input. It seems conceited to me, otherwise xD

"I know you're just looking out for me," Asher replied once he'd sat down in the passenger seat. He then leaned over and gave her a quick, gentle kiss, and then offered her his most loving smile as he sat back in his seat and made himself comfortable. "I can't wait, either. To be on the move, have some fun," he grinned.

Lucy said, "I'll have to introduce you to my old schoolmates! They'll be excited to meet you! Lucky for me, most of my female friends are seeing people or are married, so I won't have to worry about them trying to get romantic with you." She laughed, obviously joking, and then she ruffled his hair. "We're off!" With that, she started down the road, the buildings going by quickly.

But we wanted to call her Georgina to begin with to be a companion to 'Lonely George', the last remaining giant tortoise of his special species xD

"Oh darn, no chance of some harmless pre-marital flirting on my part, then!" Asher replied jokingly, pretending to look disappointed by that, before he burst into a few quiet chuckles. "I'm glad, actually. Not that they would be attracted to me, but the attention would certainly bother me."

"Of course not! And if you did, you'd be in the dog house. You know it, too!" She kept her eyes on the road, but she was smiling broadly, humor shining in her gaze. "It would bother me too, don't worry. And I would be very vocal about it. As I would be if any of the people you know back home did the same to me."

"Oh, I know very well that I would be," Asher laughed. It was warm in the car, so he slipped off his jacket and threw it into the backseat of the car. He smiled and said, "Well, I'm sure you would, if I actually had friends to introduce you to. You forget I'm not a sociable person."

Lucy laughed, then sighed with relief as they finally drove out of the city. "Open road, breaking speed limits, blasting music-- nothing better!" She sighed softly when he mentioned his lack of a major social life. "Well, at least you have family!" She beamed at him. "In fact, I'm almost glad I just have to meet your family. I've been stressed about impressing people you know."

"And you've already met my parents, and they like you, so that's the biggest battle overwith," Asher added. "And, well, due to, as you know, the.. fertility problem on the male side of the family, I don't exactly have a huge close family to introduce you to." He smiled at her reassuringly, "Why are you stressed? Just be yourself, and they'll love you, just like I did when I met you."

So the drummer from the band "Lady Antebellum" went to my school!! AHHH! There IS hope for me!

"Well, your small family is definitely balanced out by my large family, who have all been dying to meet you. Funnily enough, some of them don't think you actually exist. They say I'm making things up just to make my decision to move to New York look like a good one," Lucy told him, momentarily taking her eyes off of the road to smile at him. "I know my family is going to love you. After I started seeing you, I became happy again, and they all noticed it."
