I'm loving music from all these movies of my childhood. Right now, I'm into Treasure Planet.

Lucy inhaled sharply, her smile seeming to crack, like a mask made out of china. Then it shattered, and Lucy was reduced to crying and shaking, the exact opposite of what she had wanted him to see. "Asher, this isn't fair! I love you so much, and I don't want to lose you! If anything happens to you, I'll never forgive myself. You know that. I can't stand being away from you, it hurts too much." She looked down, desperately wanting to calm herself down, so she wouldn't upset him.

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Thank you for that. Becca, if you haven't looked, don't.

"I know. I know. I don't even know how I'm going to live being away from you for so long. For most things, we find away. But that's for us to be together, not to make it easier to stay apart," Asher told her. Her getting emotional was beginning to have an effect on his composure. "I don't want to go at all. And I'm so scared. I don't want you to go through what you did before."

I clicked a link, then realized what was going to happen. So I exited out.

And now I'm watching "The Road to El Dorado". LOVE that movie.

Lucy kept looking down, tears streaking down her already soaked face, dripping to the ground like the raindrops that fell all around them. "Asher," she said through her tears, "it's going to be so hard, living here without you, alone in our apartment. We've finally built a life together, and now it's being taken away from us. And I'm terrified."

I haven't seen El Dorado in YEARS! O: It's so good, too!

Asher nodded sadly, and looked at her helplessly. "I know. And you don't deserve it once, let alone twice.. I suppose I'm the luckier one. At least I won't have to live with never seeing you again. But you'll always have that. And I don't want that for you at all, it's not fair," he said, his voice cracking. "Everything was so perfect with you. I don't know why anyone would want to try and tear it away just like that.. But I'll find a way to come home to you. I can be called a coward for the rest of my life, but rather that than never see you again."

and YES! It's pretty amazing.

Lucy finally looked up at him, her eyes still tearful, her emotions clearly written on her face. "Oh Asher... If you can't come home, I'll go to you, no matter what happens to me. We will find a way to be together again, somehow. And I... I..." She had to stop herself, her voice wavering strongly. She cleared her throat, then continued. "I'll wait for you, no matter how long it takes. I'll never lose hope that you'll come back."

Silver is awesome, I agree. But Morph is adorable.

"We will. I know we will. Because I'm not going to wait as long as they tell me to in order to see you," Asher agreed. "I've got my heart set on that." He leaned down and kissed her lips softly and for only a short amount of time. "And I'll be there. I'll come home to you and make sure your waiting won't be in vain. And I'll be more in love with you every day that I'm away, just the same as when I'm here."

Lucy wrapped her arms around him, then kissed his forehead. "Do you promise you'll write to me when you can?" She whispered, running her fingers through his wet hair, gazing up into his eyes, remembering the first time they met. "I'll write you so much, you won't know what to do," she added with a sad smile.

Oh, Ameila? I think she's my second favourite, she doesn't take any crap!

"I'll write to you at every possible opportunity. And I'll call you as often and for as long as I am able. Don't you worry about that," Asher told her. "And I'll send you pictures and I'll send you drawings with my letters." He stood her on his shoes and pulled her closer to himself.

Lucy buried her face in his shirt, wrapping her arms around him tightly. "It's going to be so hard without you being here. I mean, waking up alone, not seeing you every day... I don't know how I'll deal with it." She sniffled and wiped her nose, then kissed him gently.

"It's going to be hard not being here with you. In an alien place with guys I don't know-- you know I'm not a sociable person, Lucy. I'm not going to fit in. You're the only person I ever talk to," Asher said quietly, looking a little saddened by that. "I'm going to miss you being the first thing I see every morning and the last every night. I'll miss your beautiful eyes and your smell that I love.. Everything will be so hard without you." He kissed her back very softly, but passionately and lovingly all the same.

Lucy kissed him in return, matching his passion, entwining her fingers in his hair. When she pulled away, she looked up at him and smiled, her eyes clear of sadness, a true smile. He would never know how much effort it took her to do it. "Come on, let's dance a little more before we go inside." She took his hand and gave it a squeeze, as if trying to assure him that she would be okay in time.

Mmm, pizza, followed by brownies on a girl's night in. Can't beat that too often =D

Asher offered her a smile in return, trying his hardest not to look too upset, and just that he was enjoying his time with her. He said, "That sounds like a wonderful idea," and took her other hand. "Tell me, what dance are we doing, and I'll take you through it?"

I had a couple girls over last night. It was really fun.

Lucy thought about it for a bit, then said, "How about you surprise me. I'll close my eyes, and you lead me, and maybe I can guess what we're doing." She stepped close to him, waiting for him to lead her into position, trying to push thoughts of what was going to happen out of her mind.

Well, it's just me and my mum, actually. Dad's gone out with some friends of his from SA.

We're just about to watch a movie, actually. So I have to go, but I'll be back later.

Asher just nodded and lead her into a more latin style step sequence. To get her feet moving with his, he counted the beat for her for a few bars, and just told her to feel where he was leading her, and simply just to follow. It was still raining. He could barely think of things more romantic than dancing on your last day together, out in the rain, and letting it fall on you, soak you to the skin and not care at all.

Sorry, I had to go to church, and then I watched a movie with my family.

Lucy said, "I'm going to guess that this is... latin? It's not the foxtrot or anything, I assume from the counts. You're an excellent dancer." She followed him with ease, opening her eyes so she could look up at his face, smiling. "I love you so much, you know," she murmured, kissing him briefly.

Oh, that's fine

"Good guess. A samba step, to be exact," Asher replied with a smile. He chuckled and said, "Thank you. I'd love to say I could put it down to natural talent, but, well, I actually trained in particularly Latin dance, bizarrely, for an art project. I didn't have a choice, but I grew to love it a lot." He returned the kiss while it had lasted. "I love you, too, Lucy."

Lucy smiled slightly at him, then took his hand and led him to the apartment, because the rain was coming to an end. "Let's go in and dry off, then decide what to do next. Now that the rain is stopping, I can say our first goal is done." She swung her arm with his as they went back to the apartment, and she hummed quietly, trying to keep herself cheerful.

Asher nodded and followed her in, scooping up his jacket as they passed it. He didn't bother waiting for the lift to take them up. He just took her by the hands and took her up the stairs. He felt so full of energy now, trying to keep on being optimistic no matter what, for the meantime. When they got back to the apartment, he ran into the bathroom to grab a couple of towels for them both, rubbing his hair dry enough to suffice to start off with, offering hers to her with his other hand. "So, is there anything else you want to do? I said I'd draw or paint you, but we can do that after dinner tonight or something, I think."

I mean, it was so funny and light hearted, then it got really sad and depressing!

Lucy and started drying off her hair, then slipped out of the wet clothes and threw them into the bathtub, trying to dry off completely. "Well, I don't really know what I want to do, actually. I know, it sounds stupid, but spending time with you is definitely the only thing I actually care about doing." She wrapped the towel around herself, then headed to their bedroom, to find her robe so she could wear it instead of a damp towel. She also slipped into her naughtiest undergarments, just in case they proved to be necessary.

Asher finished drying himself off, went and got changed into something else, just to feel completely dry again and then pulled her into his arms. "Well, do you have any preference on whether you want to go out or stay in?"
