Basilpaw padded into the apprentices' den, very nervous. He had recently been made an apprentice, and though his parents were proud, he worried what the other apprentices (especially Crystalpaw) would think of him. He cast a quick glance at her, and she met his gaze, but dropped it. A yowl sounded from outside. It was Crystalpaw's mentor, calling for her. As she left, her tail brushed Basilpaw's side.

 

[Runner]

(Right now, it's night time, but I think I'm going to do a time skip to morning)

Blazepaw climbed out of his nest and then began to stiffly walk over to the clearing to wait for the other apprentices before heading out to battle training today. Sunpaw sleepily walked over to the clearing, and let out a huge yawn. "I'm hungry," he complained with an adamant tone. Blazepaw ignored him, and simply sat there.

Basilpaw saw other apprentices beginning to head out, so he followed them. Cautiously, he approached Crystalpaw. "Hi, do I know you?"he mewed shyly. "No, but I'm Crystalpaw. And you are-?" "Um... I'm... Basilpaw." She smiled and repeated it. "Basilpaw. Well, see you around, I've got to go train." Again, as she left, her white tail brushed his side.

 

[Runner]

(BTW, in this RP, there really are no mentors since there aren't any warriors, so for now the apprentices just go out into the woods and train... I guess..)

Blazepaw, bored with sticking around waiting for the lazy apprentices to awaken, headed out on his own to the forest. He knew that around this time, most of the apprentices began to fall in love. It was early newleaf, so of course everybody was like it. He could tell; Sunpaw was that way with Hawkpaw, and Basilpaw was definitely that way with Crystalpaw, just the way those two seemed to act around those two shecats told him exactly how they felt. Blazepaw silently told himself that he was going to stay out of the lovefest.

(I have a question: since one of my charries is leader, how will I know when to name a warrior from an apprentice? If you could let me know when a certain character should be and what the name is( if it's changing at all ) that would be great. On a side note, none of the others have posted for a while. Will they all know that the leader changed? Goodness, I worry too much. :-} )

Stormstar paced restlessly in her den, as Icepelt entered. "Is something worrying you, dear?" He asked. "It's our young Basilpaw." She answered. "He and that Crystalpaw are falling for each other." Icepelt padded over to her and reassuringly began to lick her back. "I'm sure it's just a phase. They are young and-" "But they are- but..." She broke in. "Calm down, Stormstar. There are other matters to attend to. Together, they walked out the door. Outside the apprentices' den, Basilpaw was nowhere to be seen. Crystalpaw appeared out of the bushes. "Stormstar... Basilpaw... Badger attacked him... Lots of blood... Near Thunderpath..." Then Crystalpaw fainted.

(Just do it like, maybe when you think it's okay, like on page 30 if it gets there. And everybody will just have to read the backlog, and finally, I have one thing to say: When are your characters going to start associating with the other characters? Oh, and try to avoid timeskips for the most part since some people may be having these scenes that stretch.)

Blazepaw and Sunpaw sharpened their claws on trees and then began to fight, claws sheathed. Blazepaw pulled a quick move where he knocked Sunpaw over.

Given the circumstances, Stormstar instinctively jumped into battle mode. "Icepelt, take Crystalpaw to Autumntail and/or revive her. I will find Basilpaw. Stormstar raced to the Thunderpath trying to pick up the scent of badger or Basilpaw, when she ran straight into Sunpaw and Blazepaw.

3 hours ago, at dawn, Crystalpaw and Basilpaw decided to go hunting together.( No big surprise there, huh?) They started out well, working together, when Basilpaw offered to head the direction of the Thunderpath, while she took the fresh kill to the pile. Of course, she objected, so they went together. Just as they were turning back, a badger leapt at Crystalpaw, wounding her tail. Basilpaw attacked the badger back, but was badly wounded

Rosepaw hastily got up and headed to the medicen den. She stopped. "Blazepaw when into the forest eariler!" She thought, running off into the forest.

Crystalpaw came to with Icepelt looking over her. "Basilpaw... is that you?" "No, little one. It is me, Icepelt. But Stormstar is searching for him. He will be OK." She lay limp while he circled around her, looking for anything they would need the medicine cat for.

The wound in Crystalpaw's tail was not bad, and after treatment, she was allowed to leave. She saw Rosepaw bounding into the forest. "Hey, Rosepaw! Wait for me!" She yowled.

 

[Aquangel]

Rosepaw slowed her pace. "I'm going hunting with Sagefur." She lied before running off again. "Blazepaw where are you?" She whispers.

Despite Rosepaw's obvious dismissal, Crystalpaw followed her, and heard her muttering about Blazepaw. "If you're looking for Blazepaw, he went into the forest to train with Sunpaw. I think... Yeah. He did." Crystalpaw said helpfully.

As Blazepaw and Sunpaw were training, Stormstar left them alone. Finally, she reached her son's bleeding body. He was alive... but barely. "Please, Starclan. Don't take him, not my only son, my kit!" She prayed.

 

[Aquangel]

Rosepaw kept running. "Blazepaw must have that cut seen to!" Rosepaw thought.

Crystalpaw looked around for someone to talk to. There was no apprentices to be seen, so she went to the den and curled up, and next thing she knew, Icepelt was waking her, saying, "Basilpaw is back. He's- bad. You should go see him." She followed him to the Medicine Den. Basilpaw was just regaining conciousness. Crystalpaw lay down next to him, sharing tongues, murmuring quiet words of thanks to Starclan. Quietly, Icepelt slipped away.

(I'm sorry mochatchi34 but I can't help but think you are taking control over Autumntail, she may be the medicine cat and you need to use her for this but that still doesn't give you permission to do so.)

Hawkpaw walked out of the apprentices den into the clearing and yawned before catching scent of Sunpaw and Blazepaw that lead to forest, she could also scent Rosepaw then began head the way she believed they went.

 

[Runner]

Sunpaw and Blazepaw eventually quit training. "Okay, where are all the other apprentices?" Sunpaw asked, cocking his head to one side. "Whoa! That's the fattest robin I have ever seen!!" Suddenly, Sunpaw dashed off in the other direction, chasing the robin. Blazepaw shook his head at the sight of his ever so careless brother. When he was gone, Blazepaw sighed, and then went to go hide out at one of his favorite thinking spots; a pond.

"Why must I have such a terrible sense of direction at times like this." Hawkpaw muttered to herself as she found herself far from camp and not sure which way lead back. "Maybe I should have waited until the others came back instead, that probably would of been more reasonable..." She trialed off as she continued to wonder around.
