"Um, sure, I guess so" Jack told her. He really wasn't about to say no to having some company. Jack held the flashlight out infront of him and began creeping into the passage. In order for him to fit he had to keep a steady crouch. After the first few feet the passage looked larger and when jack had reached it he was able to stand up again. "I wonder where this goes..." He mused softly

ooc: I know, My posts have been pretty blehh too.

"Sorry, I get excited over little things. I didn't get it from my Dad, so I'm guessing my Mum," Angel went quieter as the sentence flowed. Her eyes glinted with a tear, waiting to come out. Angel shook it away, "hi Shaula, how have you been doing? I heard that you've been running into a lot of walls."

Kaylin, being only five feet tall, had no problem at all with the height of the passage. She could stand up straight the whole way. "So, what's your name?" she asked as the pair walked. When Jack wondered aloud, Kaylin shrugged.

ooc > I'm so sorry. I have no clue what to say. STUPID WRITER'S BLOCK!!!

No problem, I know what thats like...

Jack turned halfway around to face her. "Oh, right, I'm sorry." Jack apologized "I'm Jack, it's nice to meet you." He shone the flashlight and pointed it toward the walls, the beams of lights scaned off the walls. They weren't as nice as the ones in the actual mansion but they weren't too bad. He looked back at Kaylin and stepped, or crouched past her and reached his arm out to cover the rest of the distance. He pulled the door closed softly behind them.

"Nice to meet you, too." Kaylin said, giving Jack her award winning grin. "So, how'd you find this place? You must have been searching, or something." She peered around, not seeing much of anything. Once the door was closed, Kaylin jumped a little, surprised at the sudden darkness.

"I was just sort of exploring and this part of the wall looks a bit different and is uneven. And then I figured out it was a door..." Jack gave her a funny look when she jumped a bit "You okay?" He asked her

"Yeah..." Kaylin replied, a bit meekly. "I just was surprised when you closed the door, that's all." Kaylin looked around. She stepped carefully over to the wall and leaned against it, waiting for Jack to lead the way.

Jack repositioned the light so it was infront of them again and stepped past Kaylin and continued down the seemingly endless hallway that dipped and curved into turns and seemed to make a maze throughout the mansion walls. When they came to a door he looked back to her for a moment before reaching out toward a small handle in the door. He wondered what this opened to hopefully not another passageway.

Even on her tiptoes, Kaylin couldn't see past Jack to find out what was behind the door. She stood behind Jack, eager, yet at the same time, nervous, for what was ahead. She ran her hand through her long, black hair, trying to fix it since it had been messed up on the journey. "Do you see anything?" she asked, quietly.

"Mhmm. " Jack said stapping aside so she could see " A door," he told her "Would you like the honours?" He offered gesturing an arm toward the door for her.

"Yeah.." she murmured, embarrassed. "So, whatcha guys talkin' bout? I mean.. You cant just stand there and not talk bout stuff, ya know?" she half-joked.

"Uhmm...Sure?" Kaylin said, stepping forward. She turned the knob, and pushed the door open. It was yet another passageway, this time with two seperate paths. "Which way should we go?" she asked Jack, looking back at him.

Jack groaned slightly at the paths. "I dunno..." He answered shrugging he made an arm gesture toward one of the paths "That one?" He suggested looking down the hallway.

"Pretty uneventful, I've always lived on a farm type land so there isn't all too much around..." Jack admitted taking a couple of steps silently, "What about you?" He asked her in return. He sort of felt that awkwardness in the room-err hall- like neither one of them really knew what to say.

"We're just talking about stuff." Cade answered, yawning again, exhausted from the fact he hadn't slept in 48 hours. "Mostly just drabble." Using his left hand, he rubbed his eye sleepily and at the same time, pulled a stick of minty ice flavored gum out of his pocket and popped it into his mouth.

"Cool, cool.." Shaula said. She then took her iPod out, pressed and held down the home button, and spoke into it in an unintelligible language. It spoke back in what seemed like the same language, paused, and began playing music.

"I was taken away from my parents at a really young age, and I moved in with my cousin. I've lived there ever since..." Kaylin said, not really wanting to go into the full story of hows or whys. She felt the awkwardness, too. She didn't like awkwardness, not that anyone did. "What kinds of animals did you have on your farm?"

Jack chuckled soflty at her question. " Well, we only really ever had a dog, but I'm not really sure that counts. My mum didn't enjoy the thought of raising an animal to kill it and stuff like that, and beside she didn't really want alot of noise of that awful smell. So we ended up just using the farmland for an orchard... " Jack explained trailingnoff a bit towrard the end. "So, " he said turning his head to look down and on an angle toward Kaylin " Where do you think this goes to?"

"I have no idea. Like I said, I'm not much of an adventurer." Kaylin said, looking up at Jack. "I'm a vegetarian, so I wouldn't have eaten any of the animals. And I've always wanted a pet pig. I don't know why. I just think they're cute." She shrugged and continued walking.
