Blaze had been stirring the tomato sauce intently when he began to feel a presence behind his shoulder. He continued to stir, but eventually, he craned his neck around to see Auburn watching the spoon's movements. A bubbling from the pot made him jerk back and turn the heat down to low, and then he made his way over to the fridge to grab the package of ground beef. Using his fingernails, he tore the package open and tipped the contents into the tomato sauce pot.
"I guess I'm cool with that, then. Just no more burst outs, please. Keep in mind some of us came here to get away from the drama of normal life." Cade unglued himself from the wall, stretched, and then started walking down the hallway, sketchbook tucked under his arm.
