Cade smiled. "I'm only good at sports and school. Whenever it comes to the performing arts- drama, music, visual arts... I always fail." He sighed and his smile faded a bit. "I didn't expect everybody here to be so musically talented like my brother."

"I'm not musically gifted in singing, or an insrument. So, it's not everybody. The one thing I can do is dance. I can't play sports, I'm not very good at school, and I almost caught the house on fire while cooking. But, as Taylor always tells me, at least I'm cute." Kaylin rambled a little. "So don't even say 'only'. There are plenty of sports in the world, which makes it a broad talent." Kaylin couldn't stand pessimists.

Cade was surprised by the girls knowledge. "Hey, actually, you're pretty good at philosophy there.. Or whatever what you just said is called." He reached into his pocket, pulled a stick of gum out, and shoved it into his mouth. "You like to look on the bright side of life, don't you?"

Kaylin chuckled. "Yeah, I think if you look on the brighter side, it's easier to live. I can't stand debbie downers." she told Cade. "Where's Tay?" she asked, going back into the bedroom. She saw Taylor looking at Sterling and winked, a little over-exaggerated. When she turned back to the hallway, she walked the opposite dierction of Cade.

Cade was about to go back to the suite when he realized how it was crowded with people playing music. Sighing, he decided to go find somewhere else to think. He headed to the recreation room with the TV, and sat down on the sofa. He stayed like that, sunk into the soft cushion for about a minute until he finally sat back up. "Well, it's nice to see that I'm not the only non-musical person here." He said to nobody in particular. Then he yawned, and fell asleep.

Angel looked at everybody talking, she had no one. She dropped the karaoke microphone and walked away, she thought that she'd come out of this mansion with nobody. She had already grew up around guys, she shouldn't of had a problem about relationships with guys. What she should have problems with is making friends with girls, as she grew up without a mother or a sister. Well, I guess she grew up with one girl, that is, if you count dogs. Scarlette and her brother, Maxx were the dogs of the household, she was looking after both, but one died, Maxx escaped the house one day. When they went looking for him, he was on the side of the road, dead. She didn't understand why that would've happened to Maxx, and she probably never will.

"Hm. You aren't the only one."

Shaula stepped into the recreation room, bored with following Kaylin.

"Oh hey, it's you," she murmured sarcastically. She was obviously bored and tired at the same time, and she was in no mood for being excited about anything, not even a friend.

"So, what's up?"

Cade was asleep, and didn't hear Shaula. He had a dream about New York City, and it was a good dream.. Until the end. He dreamed about his 8 year old self, walking around the streets of Brooklyn with his old best friend, Jon. The two of them were hanging out, and were about to go home to the Bronx on the subway, when suddenly, somebody got hit by the subway train. The two of them had been so close to the victim, and the blood had sprayed onto them... The image faded, and Cade found himself in another memory: In Seattle, with Blaze.

Auburn blinked as Blaze reached over and touched her hair. She was slightly surprise at his sudden boldness, for he seemed like such a shy person at first. She grinned and tucked it behind her ear. "I am going to cut my bangs. They're way too long." She laughed, her eyes sparkling with merriment and good spirit.

Sterling blushed slightly as Taylor caught his gaze. He thought she was really pretty and couldn't help but keep his gaze on her for a while longer. As they locked eyes, Sterling blushed and smiled a handsome grin to her.

Steem sighed and plugged his headphones into his soundboard before walking back to his room, playing a song to himself with his right hand holding his soundboard with his left arm, ignoring anything or anyone that was near him

Blaze smiled warmly back at Auburn. He opened his mouth and replied, "I'm not an expert on hair, so I can't tell if it's too long or too short. But I think it'll look pretty either way." Blaze realized what he had just said, and then turned almost as red as a fire hydrant. He found himself itching to go splash water on his face. Touching Auburn's hair had been a quick, random move that he didn't even think about before doing, but..

Auburn tried with all of her might to stifle her giggles but failed miserably. "You are just too adorable!" Auburn said between her laughs, cupping her hand over her mouth as if it were helping to surpress the giggles that spilled from within her. "It's a wonder to me how you're still single Blaze." She gave him a warm but flirty smile and sat back on her stool with her blue eyes steadily locked on the boy in front of her.

Auburn didn't flirt with guys that often. Most of the time, she was the one being flirted with. And by some good for nothing guy who's only interested in a booty call. Because the fact is that Auburn really is extremely attractive, though she would never admit it to anyone. Both Auburn and Sterling have always been really good looking. As much as people would love to be so attractive, the siblings often found it to be a curse because of the fact that many of the people who show any interest in them only have one motive: Sex. Only sex.

Blaze looked at Auburn through his hands, which were covering his tomato red face. She was definitely flirting with him. This wasn't the first time Blaze had been flirted with; lots of girls were in love with him. But none of them were really Blaze's type, they just liked him because they thought he was the perfect football guy with A's. "Well, yeah.. Let me guess, you're single too?" He asked, hands still covering his face.

Shaula didn't care that Cade was asleep. In fact, she was so tired that she didn't care about anything at all. She collapsed into a white lounge chair and bunched herself up, her head on one armrest, her feet on the other, with her near-perfect appearance now ruined, and she fell asleep instantly.

Auburn composed herself and nodded sadly. "Yes," she replied with a sigh. "I haven't met anyone worth getting into a relationship with. It's quite sad really. You are really the only guy I've talked to, besides my brother of course, that hasn't said one word about my ****s or how great my butt is." Auburn shook her head sadly. "It's difficult to find someone who likes me for ME you know?" she asked Blaze, her blue pools yearning for him to understand and secretly hoping to God that he was different. "I mean, it's okay to be attracted to someone. It's only natural. But what I have had to deal with is really sad. Sad and wrong."

Blaze removed his hands from his now-regular-color-face, sensing that the conversation was taking a more serious turn. "It's the same with me, only the girls keep talking about me being the "cutest football player ever". They just want me to fulfill their fantasies of a date with a popular guy so they can get into the popular clique. Of course, I didn't enjoy being in that clique too much." He rolled his eyes at the thought of a specific group of giggling, blonde sophomore girls who flirted with him any moment he was nearby. "I don't know how a girl's love works, but they were just stupid. I understand how you feel."

Auburn smiled, relief flooding through her as Blaze's words sank into her mind. Suddenly a stray tear slipped down her cheek. She didn't mean to get emotional in front of Blaze and her face flushed with embarrassment as she quickly swiped the tear away. "I'm sorry Blaze," she said with a soft laugh. "Girls can be just as bad, if not worse." Auburn shook her head as the memories of being constantly tortured and teased mercilessly by all of the jealous girls in her school flooded through her mind. "I would never want to be apart of such . . . Mediocrity." She smiled at Blaze, so glad that she had someone who understood how she felt.

"It's good to find somebody who's not part of that group." Blaze said, as he reached out his arm to pat Auburn's shoulder. "I find it humorous how most girls strive to be unique, and yet, in the end, they're just as ordinary as the giggling, flirty, head-in-the-clouds girls they hang out with. I admire you for being able to survive being yet another victim of stupid people."

Kaylin skipped into the kitchen. When she noticed that Auburn and Blaze were talking, she skipped away. She found the library, and pushed the door open gently. "Hellooo?" she called. She closed the door behind her, a little in awe of all the books around her. She'd never gone to the public library, so she had never seen so many books in one place.

Taylor blushed and looked away from Sterling, biting her lip. He was really cute. When he grinned at her, she grinned back. It was weird for her, but she felt like she needed to. Taylor wasn't really one to start conversation, or to smile. She had a hard shell, most of the time. When she finally got herself together, she said, "Do you really think that smile is going to charm me?" Of course, it did, but Tay would never admitt that.
