Kay looked up at Max, staring at him with wide eyes. She opened her mouth, then closed it. She extended her hand, "I'm Kay."

"I'm Max. It's nice to meet you." He shook her hand, then led her over to the bar. "Would you like anything? It's on me." He sat down again, then patted the stool next to him.

Kay jumped up on the stool, twirling a little before placing her elbows on the bar and looking at all the bottles stacked on the shelves. "Hmmm. Whiskey sour."

Scotty said, "Funny, Max. She has the same taste in alcohol as you do." He went to fix her drink, smiling to himself.

Max rolled his eyes at Scotty, then looked at Kay. "So, are you new around here?"

Kay nodded. "I guess you could say that I am a wanderer. I can't really stay in a place to long, but this place is looking pretty promising so far." She looked at Max and smiled. "What brought you here? Besides the obvious."

Max said, "Well... I've always lived in this town, actually. I was born and raised here by my parents, and I found a whole group of friends... well, ex-friends. And I also have the pack that I stay with. You'll like it here, there's never a shortage of things to do."

"Is there anywhere specific you're headed to?" He asked, taking a swig from his drink. He hadn't met someone who was always traveling before. His old friends used to travel once in a while, but not like crazy.

"I don't know. I was thinking to stay here a few months. First time I'll stay anywhere longer then a week," Kay said. "I was thinking to head north a little."

xD we don't have many good sledding spots where I live, sadly. the only good one is down the street, but there's a small stream that runs near the end.I fell in it once after sledding.

Mikey got up and started looking through the movies he owned. "Do you have any specific movie you'd like to watch? I have too many movies to mention, basically every genre of movie, both old and new. I even have some black and white films!"

Sadie said, "That's because I have a slight tan, nothing too much to speak of."

Cosette squealed up at Brandon, holding his finger tightly in her hand. She beamed up at him, drooling.

Sadie gently wiped it away with her thumb, then rubbed her thumb on her pajama bottoms.
Ah, I see xD Around my town, there wasn't enough snow, or any good hills, so we went to the next town along, which is on a hill.

Angie shrugged, and told him, "You will learn, as you get to know me even better, that I am the very worst person to ask to make a decision. I like everything, I therefore don't care, and therefore cannot, for the life of me, choose anything at all." She laughed, looking through his extensive collection.

Brandon smiled, for his first time to Cosette, that well-known smile of his. She seemed to like it when he smiled at her that way, waving her arms around cheerily.

He said to Sadie, "What's on the agenda for today, then? It's looking lazy, so far."

Well then, it's perfect!

Apparently it's snowing outside-- again! And I have to go to church soon, so I get to go out in it. In the dark xD

Mikey sighed, pretending to be frustrated. "Gosh Angie! Why do you have to make this so difficult!?" Then he laughed, and he told her, "Well, how about we watch something like... Transformers? Or, you can look around yourself, and surprise me with what you choose." He waited for her to respond to him, smiling, showing off his new fanged grin.

Sadie said, "Honestly? Today is another "get used to having a baby" day. I don't think there's anything of much importance besides that. I have no plans, ever, besides spending time with you." She grinned, then said to Cosette, "And you like spending time with us too, don't you?"

Cosette squealed in reply, waving her arms frantically. Sadie was glad she was so cheerful. It made adjusting a lot easier.

Max said to her, "Well, I really hope you'll like it here. It's a great place... well, except for a few minor details."

"I'd like to know those 'minor details' before I decide to finally settle somewhere. There's always something wrong wherever I go," Kay said, sulking a little bit.

It's supposed to snow another 20cm here overnight =D

The old snow, from Wednesday, hasn't even melted, it's so cold.

Sounds like fun xD Do you usually go to church? I didn't know :L

"Hmm.. Transformers.. I don't know.. I mean, I'll get jealous if I have to sit with you while Megan Fox is on screen. Something about her is attractive to men, is that right?" Angie joked, chuckling. She took out the box for it in consideration, as she would be quite happy with watching it, and looked through the rest of his movies. "Blaise has been watching a lot of Romantic Comedies at the moment.. I'm sort of sick of them.. I've had enough scaring for the rest of the week.. Transformers it is!" she said. "Totally unoriginal, because you picked it, but it saves pondering." She chuckled and handed it to him.

"Do you wish you had plans sometimes?" Brandon asked her, looking up from Cosette to do so this time. His question was out of pure curiosity, really.

Most of our snow is still here. It's been snowing lightly constantly.

Mikey said, "Uh, have you ever seen yourself? You're way more gorgeous than her. Yeah, she's attractive, but I don't think she's attractive in the way most girls should want to be thought of. You are beautiful, flawless, perfect." He kissed her forehead. "And I think that's worth way more than being "hot.""

Sadie thought for a moment, contemplating the question. Then she said to him, "No, actually. I'm glad I don't really have many plans. I like spending my free time with you and your family, and now Cosette as well. Besides, I'm never bored around here, there's always something going on, even if it is minor. And that's enough for me."

Max said, "There's a whole coven of vampires. I wouldn't mind them being around, but... well, they basically took my sister from me, the girl I was crazy over, my best friend, and my other friends, too. Now all I have is my pack." He sighed, ordering another whiskey sour.

I think I may well have school tomorrow. It didn't snow at all today D:

Angie smiled at him, "I think perfect may be very arguable, Mikey," she chuckled. "It's nice that you think of me that way, though. And, well if I'm more attractive than Megan Fox to you, that's okay, even if every other man wouldn't."

"Oh, well, then that's okay. I was going to say, if you'd said yes, I can do plans. I'm not very good at them, though, so it's probably just as well," Brandon replied. "I'm not used to making plans with you. I don't think it would feel right."

Kay nodded her head sympathetically. "Nomad packs are better- and I quite enjoy running into vampires and ripping their throats out." She chuckled darkly and sipped her drink, leaning back a little on the air. "Vampires. Huh."

Max said, "They took everything I cared about. So now I have nothing, besides my pack. In fact, there's really not much of a reason for me to stay here at all. Maybe I should move on somewhere else, try to start fresh. Because... well, as much pain that's been inflicted to me... I've inflicted pain on others, too."

Mikey put the movie in, then sat down on the couch, patting the area next to him invitingly. "I think you're way more attractive than Megan Fox, and that's a fact. Now get your butt over here, the movie's starting!" He grinned at her, then dimmed the lights a bit, so there wouldn't be a glare on the screen. Even though he wasn't human anymore, he still retained all of his old pet peeves. Screen glares being one of them.

Sadie laughed and said, "Well, that's a nice way to look at it." She Picked up Cosette, resting her on her shoulder gently, loving the feeling of having their little baby in her arms. It was the one of the most wonderful experiences she could think of. And she really was hoping for a second child, so she could feel like this again. In fact, she probably wouldn't care if they had more children, but if she got changed, the probability of having more children would go down. But there was still a shot of hope. "And we're going to be very busy for a long time, taking care of our little princess."

Angie giggled quietly and sat down next to him. "Thank you, then," she smiled up at him. "I can't think of anyone to compare you to and say you're better than, but I think you're very handsome, is that okay?" she chuckled.

"A good kind of busy, though. I'm so happy that we actually have a child to be busy taking care of in the first place, I can't tell you," Brandon told her.

Mikey said, "That's more than okay, to me. I mean... your opinion of me is very important, and I want you to be honest with me, completely. Because I'd like to make you happy, and if you're honest with me about how I am, I can at least know what should and shouldn't do."

Cosette squealed happily, chewing on her mother's shirt and drooling. Being a baby was an easy job.

Sadie got up, carrying Cosette. "Brandon, how about we go tell everyone hello." She smiled and added, "Besides, I think Cosette would like the attention."

"Oh, well, I'll always try to be honest with you, Mikey. Being honest is really important to me, too. And, I'm sure--I know you'll be able to make me happy without getting my okay on things you should be doing," Angie told him. "You already made me happy just telling me how you feel about me."

Brandon slipped out of bed and took her hand. He smiled, "Oh, anything for our little girl to get into the limelight. The only person who could possibly compete is you, love. But, well, everyone's a sucker for a baby. Except for your Mum, apparently." He lead her downstairs.
