Brandon smiled. "I always knew after that first time we talked about kids that I knew I truly desired few things from our relationship. And they were to get married, and have a baby, and just to love each other always, in whatever order you like," he said. "And I know fives months was such a short time for us to find our we were going to have a baby, and I know most guys would have freaked and ran so early on. But I love you, and I was never going to miss the opportunity to experience something so wonderful." He took her hand in his whilst still cradling Cosette in the other. "And now I'm with the two most beautiful girls in the entire world, and I'm the happiest man alive."

Sadie squeezed his hand gently, looking at him with all of the love in her heart. "Brandon, I love you so much. And I promise, I'll be the best mother, and the best girlfriend and wife. I just feel like I have a purpose, to take care of you two. Forever."

Cosette yawned, and cuddled into Brandon's arm, falling asleep.

Brandon leaned over the arm of his chair and kissed her gently, briefly. "I know you will be. I always knew you would be. She knows, too, I'm sure," he glanced down at the sleeping Cosette and chuckled quietly. "And I'll be the best father, best boyfriend and the best husband. I love you."

and the whole gang violence thing (which you will see)--- just wow. in a bad way

Sadie jokingly said, "If I stay human for too much longer, you might start hearing talk about a second baby. I honestly would like to have two kids, a girl and a boy, but... well, I think we'll probably have to see how good we are at raising little Cosette first."

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Wow. Like, wow.. Kids must have been scarred for life. xDD

Brandon smiled. "I say, bring on baby two, as long as you're alright with going through it all again," he chuckled. "Just make sure you tell somebody when your water breaks the next time."

Yes, they must have.

I mean.. captain Planet is one scary dude. he does not seem like a guy I would want saving the world.

"Are you kidding!? I loved being pregnant. People spoiled me, and it was nice to know that there was this bond I had with our little baby. Plus, I don't want my big lady clothes to go to waste. I mean, I want my bang for my buck," she joked. "And believe me, I will."

Awh, but he gave such a great speech about why people with AIDS are the same as us. Truly inspirational, nothing I could ever achieve! *ahem* xD

"Well, if you really loved being pregnant that much, I'm sure I can always help you out with that sometime," Brandon smiled his signature crooked smile, the one he hadn't used in such a long time. "Once we're all set with this little one, you know I'd love another one."

I know, his speech WAS quite amazing. However... it's just... the world isn't ready.

And I'll probably be gone when you get back.

Sadie laughed and said, "Well, if you're that willing to help, the only thing I can say is yes. But I think I'll leave it to fate after baby number two. I really think after that, I'd want to be changed. Because, if I get this all planned out, I'll be right about to turn twenty. And hopefully, I won't look too much older by then."

Brandon rolled his eyes, "You know I couldn't care less about how old you look, Sadie," he smiled. "But, I think that'd be a good time, if ever there was one. You'll look about the same age as me, honestly. Is that comforting to know at all?" He squeezed her hand gently.

I had sooo much fun! But now I'm basically dead. xD

Sadie said, "Well, I care about how I look Brandon. And yes, it would be a comfort to know that I don't look like a cougar." She squeezed his hand in return, then watched as Cosette squirmed in her sleep.

I just spent two hours drawing a guitar headstock D:

"You'll look even more beautiful when you're changed, anyway. There's nothing for you to worry about, Sadie, I promise I won't refuse you when you ask me," Brandon chuckled. "I was only saying you're beautful to me however you look."

Sadie smiled, and leaned over to kiss him briefly. "Thank you, Brandon. You know all the right things to say." She gently ruffled his hair, then watched as Cosette woke up from her short nap.

She made squeaking noises, then put her thumb in her mouth, and stared up at her parents.

I'm pleased with it

Not as good as the self portrait I did last week, but still good.

Brandon just smiled as thanks and then looked back down at Cosette, who was now quietly and quite happily just sucking her thumb. She stared up at them both with eyes so much like Sadie's, Brandon's breath caught. "People are going to get so jealous of you for being so beautiful, you know," he told her, and he wasn't just saying that because she was his daughter, he knew she genuinely was.

Will I get to see it at some point?

Sadie watched them silently, and thought deeply about everything that had, was, and would happen. She was completely happy with her life, and she couldn't wait for it to keep going. She had an eternity ahead of her, with a wonderful man and their child. And she had a feeling that there would be one more child-- at least.

Brandon continued to talk quietly to Cosette until he realised he hadn't heard a sound from Sadie in a while. He looked up, and, he had to admit, was half expecting to see her lying unconscious again, but was obviously glad that she wasn't. "You okay?" he asked.

Sadie nodded, smiling. "I'm perfect. I couldn't be any happier than I am right now. I was just thinking about everything we've been through, and our future together." She gently stroked Cosette's cheek with her thumb. "She is so beautiful. I wonder how things will turn out when she's a teenager."

 

[KERFUFFLE]

"There isn't a lot we can say about what will happen to her in the future, only one thing is for sure-- she will be absolutely gorgeous. Almost as gorgeous as you," he winked at Sadie. "No arguing allowed over that one, either." He had to wonder about how Cosette's life would plan out, being half vampire half human. Would she stop aging? If so, when? What sort of things would she need? It was a difficult bridge to cross, but one he knew they would.

Sade laughed quietly, and watched as Cosette squealed loudly at Brandon, as if trying to get his attention. And then she just lay there, gazing up at him intently. She cooed quietly, and managed a small smile.

Sadie knew that nothing was going to be perfect. But she also knew that the imperfections were all a good part of life. We fall so we can learn to pick ourselves back up, after all.

 

[KERFUFFLE]

I'm just going for a shower, I'll be back in a bit.

Brandon chuckled and gently rubbed her fingers in his-- babies' hands were really cute, being so small, he felt. "Oh, sorry. I just don't want your Mom to feel left out, alright?" he told her quietly. "You can have all the attention you want when she falls asleeo, okay?"

Cosette cooed happily at him, basically having no idea what he was saying. She just liked the sound of his voice when he was happy, and joking. She then looked over at Sadie, and smiled even more.

Sadie leaned over and kissed her forehead. "I love you," she cooed to the infant. Then, she tickled her stomach, which made Cosette squirm happily.
