Neither have I. I don't think I'll get one, though. I'll just talk to her on Tuesday beforehand and explain.

"Half and half?" Brandon suggested, shrugging. He looked amongst the cupboards for the things they'd definitely need, and then picked out a bag of chocolate chips along the way, and some blueberries.

Good idea. Plus, if she's a really understanding teacher, she'll be lenient.

Sadie nodded, and grinned. "That sounds like a plan." She went to the fridge, and got out some other ingredients. Idly, she started whistling, and made sure that there was enough of everything they needed.

Well, if I show her what I've done, that should be enough. I've worked so, so hard on it ):

Brandon was singing quietly to himself as he got out bowls and scales and whatever else they needed to make them. When they were done he said, "Okay, now, chef, I might make pancakes different to you, so, what's the plan?"

Awww! Good luck! I'm rooting for you, Tazzy-bear! (my new name for you)

Sadie explained to him the recipe she used for pancakes. She then explained how it was a really old family recipe. Not a secret one, of course, like the KFC recipe, but nevertheless, it was special. "My mom taught it to me when I was twelve, just because I took an interest in cooking for a while. It burnt out, but I still love making pancakes."

Still, I'm proud of what I've done =D

I officially LOVE that name!! 8D

"Well, lets try it your way, then," Brandon nodded. "Order me around, do what you like with me. What job do I get first?" he gestured to the ingredients pile on the counter.

YAY! (for both, the proudness and the name loving. =D)

Sadie said, "Well, why don't you start mixing the dry ingredients together, not including the chocolate chips and blueberries." She then told him how much of each ingredient to put into the bowl, smiling.

Tazzy-bear 8D I can't get over that xDD

Brandon did as she asked, pushing the milk, eggs, blueberries and chocolate chips to one side for the moment and put in everything else they had, putting in the amounts according to her.

I'm glad you like it!

Sadie kept giving him directions, adding ingredients as well. She enjoyed cooking with Brandon, it was much better than cooking alone. Plus, it was nice to have someone to share food with. She had never known that vampires liked food.

I just need one for you now.. :)

The mix was done pretty quickly with the two of them working on it. He got the frying pan out of one of the cupboards. "Nice work, chef," he pecked her on the lips and grinned.

xD well, when you decide, let me know! <3

Sadie pecked him on the lips in return, looking very proud of herself. "Thank you, thank you," she said, bowing to an invisible audience. Then she went to work on cooking the pancake batter. She would occasionally add blueberries or chocolate chips, and some she left plain. She whistled merrily as she worked, feeling wide awake, which was uncharacteristic of her. She was usually not a morning person.

I'll think about it tomorrow in art, when I feel relaxed enough to think about it :)

Brandon smiled and went to stand behind her, holding onto one of her wrists and wrapping the other around her waist. "I've come to help you," he explained, chuckling quietly.

Yeah!! :,D

Sadie laughed. "Okay. I need the help anyway, you're distracting me too much." She joked, moving to flip one of the pancakes. She started humming quietly, then singing under her breath.

Brandon laughed, "You're always distracting me, but I just about manage to get on alright.. Don you find this distracting, though?" he asked, referring to how he was holding her. He was also holding onto the wrist that had the spatula, his arm moving with hers in perfect sync.

Sadie laughed again. "That's exactly what I meant. With you holding me like this, I need your help cooking these." She kept flipping pancakes, surprised at how her arm seemed to move in sync with his. She cuddled close to him slightly, and smiled up at him.

"Of course, I'm sure you're aware that it's my only reason for holding you like this," Brandon smirked down at her, chuckling. His arm tightened around her waist and his other continued to move with hers to flip the pancakes. "My hand isn't too cold, is it?" he asked.

Sadie said, "Your hand is fine, Brandon. I like it. It's... refreshing? I can't really describe it." It was hard for her to find any words that could truly describe him, or how she felt about him. Which was funny to her. Normally, she was pretty straightforward, and eloquent. But around him, that part of her seemed to change. She was still straightforward, yes. But sometimes she couldn't find the right words for anything.

Going back to cooking, she told him, "I can't wait until Ysi gets up, and sees the pancakes. I hope she likes them."

That's so weird. I check yesterday morning if there were any posts here and it didn't show any.. Sorry about that :L

Brandon smiled, "Ah, but will you say that when it's a cold winter's night and I won't be able to keep you warm?" he chuckled. He just watched her, his arm still moving with her for a while until she was finished. He nodded. "Ysi loves pancakes. And it was always Evander who made breakfast before, most days, anyway-- I enjoyed it when I wasn't gardening--, so we generally didn't get them very often. Of course, noone likes pancakes as much as I do," he said, pulling her closer to him yet, his lips near her ear.

It's okay! =)

Sadie said, "Of course I'll still say that. I mean, I'm used to being chilly at night. Plus, we could heat things up, anyway." She watched as a pancake hit the griddle, and listened to the sizzling of the dough cooking. Homely sounds, sounds she hadn't yet become used to. She really wasn't used to family and friends always being around. It was a nice experience. "Well, I'm glad you like them." She told him quietly. "They're one of the few foods I don't burn."

"You'll certainly keep me warm," Brandon smiled. He became quiet, seeming alert to a noise in the house. It was the patter of small feet hitting the wooden staircase. Of course. Blaise must have told Ysi they were in the kitchen, because she ran in at pretty much full speed and cried, "Uncle B!" happily. He let go of Sadie and let her jump into his arms, and then stood up fully again. "Hey there, beautiful," he smiled at the little girl. "Pancakes for breakfast."

"Yayy!" she clapped her tiny hands excitedly.

Sadie started humming quietly to herself, flipping more pancakes. The batter was just about gone now. She poured some more on the frying pan, and waited for the first sides to cook completely. She turned and smiled at Ysi. "Good morning sunshine! Did you have sweet dreams?"
