"I did all of it myself, just as I did the rest of the garden on my own-- apart from Ysi's sunflowers, of course," Brandon nodded. "Like I said, noone else can be bothered to do the garden, and yet, they all loved it once I was finished."

Sadie laughed. "I bet they'd love it more if they helped out!" She rested her head on his chest, looking out at the garden. "I'm so jealous! I wish I could plant a garden like this one!"

"You don't worry about wasting your life away on it when you have forever. That's how I managed to do it, I suppose," Brandon said, wrapping one arm around her shoulders. "And, it helps if you have a garden in the first place."

Sadie looked up at him. "Maybe.. someday... If you wanted me to.. I could move here... with you?" She murmured, not wanting to be pushy. But, his family had asked if she would stay, and she felt like she knew that, as soon as her brother was on his own feet again, she'd want to have a full-time residence with her boyfriend.

Brandon said, "You're always welcome here, Sadie. And when you've sorted everything out at your other place, nothing would make me happier than for you to come and live here with me."

Sadie grinned, and pulled him down to kiss him. "I swear, I must be the luckiest girl in the world. I mean, I've got you. I don't think I could really ask for much more. Oh, and did I tell you that you look good in boxers?" She smiled cheekily at him now, her arms still loosely around him.

Brandon grinned at her, "Why, thank you. And.. You look good in.. My oversized shirts," he chuckled. "And I'm equally lucky for having you. My perfect woman, I'm sure of it."

Today in choir I got really embarrassed. My voice was off during one of our quartet things.

And then my choir director switched me out for someone else. and I cried. A lot. I mean, this was in front of the whole class.

Sadie laughed. "Perfect? I wish. Baby, I'm far from perfect!" She toyed with his hair. "But thanks, I appreciate what you say."

Brandon laughed, "Well, that must be the best pile of crap I've ever seen in my life." He caressed her cheek. "Sadie, just take my word for it, I love you just the way you are-- and the way you are is nothing less than perfect. I promise you."

Sadie laughed loudly at what he said first, finding it wildly entertaining. Then she said to him, "Brandon--I've never been called a BEST pile of crap-- but thank you. I'm taking it as a compliment." She then kissed him again, and stared out at the garden afterwords.

My dad's yelling and stuff. *sigh* Sometimes, I can't wait for college.

Sadie smiled widely at him, pulling him closer as well. "And I love you. Brandon, I love you more than anything. And I don't know what I'd ever do without you. And that's the truth. It will always be the truth. I swear to you."

"Well, from the wise words of Juliet, which she said from her very own balcony, you need not to swear by anything, and I will know you love me," Brandon smiled more softly at her now, and his eyes softened, too. "I'm just glad we know we don't have to be without each other. We can always be together, and we never have to grow old. It's a beautiful thought-- forever, with you."

Sadie embraced him completely, her arms around his neck. "It's the most beautiful thing I could ever imagine... besides you, of course. And... thank you... for bringing me here, and introducing me to your family, and not being ashamed of me or anything. I'd be ashamed of me. I'm not really the kind of gal people would being home to their mothers, you see."

"I can't see anything in you to be ashamed of, Sadie. And if they didn't accept you, then that wouldn't make an ounce of difference to me. I would still love you, want you, and we would just go on without them. I'm not in my real youth anymore, nobody has to pick or approve of who I am to be with. I am with the one I love, and that is all I really care about at the end of the day."

Ack, I totally missed that you said you would stay. If I had, I could have stayed a bit longer otherwise.
