Angie was up and packing, too, looking equally excited at the prospect of going away with Mikey for their honeymoon. Yeah, they were in for a long flight to get there, but that was okay, because after that they were just going travel at their own pace. It was going to be wonderful.

Brandon had been fast asleep. Sadie definitely must have been excited if she was up and awake before he was. He turned over and then seemed a bit surprised for a moment as to why she wasn't next to him, but then he spotted her and smiled. He got out of bed and pulled her into his arms tightly. And, of course, unable to help himself, he sang happy birthday to her before giving her a long, passionate kiss on the lips. "Happy birthday, my love," he murmured once more, pressing his lips to her forehead affectionately.

Evander was awake, but didn't feel like going anywhere, quite content just to lie in bed with Prudence while she still slept. He wondered how he had found it so easy to wake up after the night they'd had, but didn't dwell on it too much, it wasn't important.

So how are you?

Mikey set the bags by the door, then went over the list he had mentally made for their excursion. Tents, clothes, cooler, blood packets... the list went on and on. But, so far, he really couldn't think of anything that he had forgotten. To Angie he said, "Okay, do you think we've got everything, or have we left something out?"

Sadie beamed at him and kissed him in return, giving a soft moan into the kiss. "Thank you Brandon," she murmured, cuddling close to him before lifting Cosette into her arms and bringing her into their family hug.

Prudence eventually stirred and opened her eyes, sighing softly. She rolled over and looked up at Evander, smiling slightly before kissing his nose. "Good morning, tiger," she said groggily, reaching up to stroke his face.

I had a good day today, Mum got some leave so we went out. Yesterday was.. Okay, in a sense. The latter part of it was alright.

How about you?

Angie looked over everything, making a mental note of it all. She shook her head and said, "I can't really think of anything else we need, so, I guess we're good to go." She then asked him, "Are you going to say happy birthday to Sadie before we leave or do you think she'll be.. Busy?"

"You're welcome, baby." Brandon wrapped his arms around his girls tightly and smiled with a deep kind of content. He was nervous about what today meant, for a lot of different reasons, but it was easy for him to put a brave face on it, since it was such a great day otherwise. He held them close, mostly taking in Sadie's warmth, and her human smell, little things that he would miss, but that he knew he could do without because it meant an eternity with him.

"Morning, you," Evander murmured with a gentle, yet somewhat amused smile, returning the kiss as just a peck on the lips. He wrapped an arm around her in her new position and asked her, "How are you?"

Mikey said, "At this early in the morning? Well... quite possibly, yes. But I think it would be good to see her off and wish her a happy birthday and a good transformation day, too." He chuckled, then started taking the bags out to the car.

Sadie cuddled closer to him, beaming up at him, then at their daughter. "Brandon... I think today is going to be a wonderful day, for the both of us. Thank you for being here with me." She kissed him, and then Cosette screeched, demanding a kiss from Sadie as well. Sadie kissed her cheek, and that made the baby very happy.

Prudence said, "Exhausted-- of course, that's your fault, mister seduce-me-all-night. But other than that, I'm fabulous! How about you?" She cuddled closer to him, kissing up and down his jawline gently.

"Okay, cool. We can stop by in a bit, then," Angie said, zipping up the last of her bags. She smiled and wrapped and arm around Mikey's waist. "Wow, this is going to be an exciting day for everybody.. You and me going off. Sadie's birthday.. Her getting changed.. I also know something of what Brandon's getting her, she'll be happy, I know."

"I think so, too," Brandon agreed. "I certainly hope so, anyway. I want to make it the best birthday you've ever had." He kissed her back while it had lasted, and then chuckled as he pulled away to let Sadie give Cosette a kiss as well. He smiled and leaned down to give her a kiss on her other cheek, as well, and she giggled with delight at the attention from her parents. He smiled and said, "It's like she knows it's your birthday or something."

"Oh, dear, I'm sorry about that," Evander chuckled. "Actually, really I'm not, last night was amazing. And therefore, I am wonderful, love, thank you." He held her close to him and tilted his head back a bit to expose his jawline for her.

Mikey said, "Oh wow, you already know some of what Brandon's getting her? That's awesome! Don't tell me, of course-- you know I'm not that great at secret keeping." Chuckling, he remembered their conversation about having the power to see soulmates-- and how he knew he had less patience than Angie. He led Angie outside and locked the door to the apartment behind him. After he'd finished loading the car, her opened the passenger's side for Angie, then shut the door behind her. He got in the car himself and started it up, heading toward Brandon's house.

Sadie laughed and said, "Well, she's a very intelligent baby-- I think she gets that from you, of course. But I'm glad she's in a good mood today. Yesterday was a nightmare-- nothing made her happy until she finally cried herself into naptime. She wasn't sick, I tried feeding her, changing her... I thought I would die of exhaustion." She chuckled weakly, then went downstairs to get breakfast started in the kitchen.

Prudence stretched and giggled, kissing along Evander's neck, admiring the marks she had left there from the night before. "So, guess what we get to do tonight? We get to babysit Cosette! It'll be fun, to take care of her. Plus, it's Sadie's birthday, and she and Brandon never get a break."

I know. But, at the same time, thank goodness I checked. It may have been more than half of usual Dr. Dre price, but £125 is still a lot of money to be scammed out of.

One day, though, I'll save up enough for a set. They are so worth it, I've never heard sound like it before.

But maybe I won't. I'm afraid I'll look way too much like an Orianthi wannabe with my red PRS guitar, blonde hair, black blazer and a set of Dr. Dre headphones xD

"Oh, don't worry, I remembered our talk, I wasn't planning on it. No offence or anything," Angie giggled, following him out and helping with the bags. She took a last look at the apartment block, as if saying an excited goodbye until they returned, before getting into the car and putting on her seatbelt.

"I think she's exhausted her supply of bad mood. Which is great. I'd hate to leave her with Evander and Prudence if she started up like she was last night," Brandon said. "But, hey, we all have our off days. Don't worry, I had many with Ysi, too." He followed her down to the kitchen and then pulled her onto a chair and said to her, "Nope, you are not doing anything of the sort today. I'm making breakfast. And you're picking whatever you want to eat, without compromise."

Evander smiled and said, "Ah, that sounds like fun. Now I know why we went all out last night, we'll have to keep it all in for tonight, since we're looking after her. It'll be great for the two of them to have some time off.And for us to spend some time with the little one, too."

But since you've got the talent to pull it off, you're less of a wannabe than lots of other people.

Mikey kept driving, singing along with the radio, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel. He was definitely excited for the flight, and he knew they would be off soon. therefore, the visit with Brandon and Sadie wouldn't be able to last more than a few minutes. Not that he minded, of course-- spending time with Angie was very important to him, and Sadie and brandon would need their privacy. He pulled into the drive, then led Angie up the walk and to the door, knocking on it once he walked up.

"French toast sounds really good right about now," Sadie said, smiling at him. And maybe we could put fruit on top and share it with each other. oh, and whipped cream and powdered sugar! Mm!" She turned and got up when she heard a knock at the door, and went to answer it. She let Mikey and Angie in. "Hi you two! Are you ready for the honeymoon?"

Prudence giggled and grinned slyly at Evander. "Yes, of course we had to get it all out last night," she purred, nipping playfully at his sensitive spot. "I mean, they won't be having alone time for a little while, so we can have a little fun first."

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Yeah.. But.. Ah.. I can't believe it. I was getting all excited about the prospect of finally having a really great set of headphones. Never mind, I'll just be happy with the guitar I get when I'm ready, so long as I've decided for definite which one I like... I can use the money towards that or something.

Angie held onto Mikey's hand while they waited for someone to answer the door.

Meanwhile, Brandon smiled and said, "Alright, French toast coming up. With everything you can imagine on it," he chuckled and started getting everything out. Cosette watched with interest as he got everything together and started preparing everything. He heard the knock at the door and just hummed quietly to himself while he waited for Sadie to open the door for who he already knew were Angie and Mikey. He then joined her in the hallway to say hi, and then wish them a good trip.

Angie had bought Sadie some flowers just as a little something to add to her day as a girl to girl thing. When she answered the door, she smiled and said, "Hey. Happy birthday, Sadie," and gave her a big hug, which was friendly, sisterly, in fact, to a point, since they were, technically, and reassuring. She'd be nervous right now if she was Sadie. She then smiled up at her husband and said, "We sure are. Can't wait to get going, but we thought we'd stop by, anyway."

Brandon smiled and told them, "You guys have a great trip, you both deserve it."

"Oh, I suppose you're right about that," Evander said, pulling her close and rolling over on top of her, slowly, and stroking his fingers through her hair, kissing at her neck seductively. "I think as much fun as w can get in is in order."

Mikey gave Sadie a hug and a kiss on the cheek, then handed her a gift bag with a few things in it. "I bought you some bath stuff so you can de-stress. I know being a mom and a girlfriend can be very draining sometimes." He chuckled, then ruffled his sister's hair, before smiling at Brandon. "We'll definitely be sending postcards from our trip, and we hope that you two have an awesome time tonight."

Sadie beamed at him and said, "Be safe, okay? And have fun!" She kissed Mikey and Angie on the cheek, and then let Cosette give them kisses too. Cosette, of course, gave sloppy baby kisses. but she couldn't help that. She was a baby.

Prudence giggled and held him closer to herself, nipping at his ear playfully. "You're so adorable, Evander. Trying to get the one up on me, I know how that goes." She pushed him down and got on top of him, biting at his neck.

Oh, thank you.. Ah, I see. Did you get my MySpace off of Twitter?

"We will, I'm sure. Thank you, guys," Brandon replied, smiling at them. "And, again, have a wonderful trip. Can't wait to hear what you get up to. For the most part, anyway," he chuckled and gave Angie a hug, and even Mikey one, one of those funny man to man hugs that amuse women.

Angie waved to them and said, "I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun. See you guys soon, we'll leave you to it," and quickly bent down to give Cosette a kiss on the cheek before holding onto Mikey's hand, gesturing for him to lead the way.

Brandon waved and stood as they watched them leave, before he turned back to get to the French toast. He started getting all the fruit and such ready before he put the slices of bread into a pan to get it all going.

"Why am I not surprised?" Evander murmured, chuckling a bit and tilting his head back, exposing his neck for her. "Even though you're exhausted, you're still a tiger."

Mikey gave Cosette a kiss on the cheek, then led Angie outside to the car. "All right! Now it's time to go to the airport," Mikey exclaimed, grinning like a fool. He was definitely excited about their trip. Everything was all set for the flights, and then they had freedom from there. Their first stop would be in London, and Mikey hadn't been there in years. He'd probably have to ask Angie to show him the places to go.

Sadie watched Brandon, then got up and slid her hand into his back pocket, giving a squeeze. Kissing his cheek she said, "I'm kissing the cook! I hope that's okay with you!" She smirked at him, then sat down and started feeding Cosette her breakfast of apple baby food. "Cosette, here comes the airplane," Sadie crooned, spooning the mixture into her mouth.

"I know, I know. And you love it, of course," she purred, draining his blood slowly, the smirk still plastered on her lips. Then she drew back and kissed along his chest.

I don't think I'd want to get any more after my birthday and my Mum's trip to New York!

Ah, cool, I'll have a look around later. I actually have to re record the Stairway to Heaven piece, since it's barely audible.

"Alright. London, here we come," Angie exclaimed excitedly, getting into the car and buckling up again. She was really looking forward to the trip, and London was a great place to start, it was one of her favourite cities.

"Quite alright with me, love," Brandon replied, turning his head to catch her lips for a long moment before he let her go again to feed Cosette. He smiled as he listened to the two of them behind him while he cooked. While the bread was toasting, he got some coffee on the go and finished off the fruit, which he'd gone to the trouble of caramelising and such, because he felt like doing something a little extra. Eventually, he served everything up onto several plates and set them onto the table, along with two cups of coffee.

"How could I not?" Evander smirked slightly and groaned a bit while she drew his blood. When she drew back, he took his turn for a few moments, and then moved his lips to hers.

Mikey sped toward the airport, being careful while going over the speed limit. He wanted to make sure they didn't miss the flight, and that they had enough time to go through security. When they got to the airport, Mikey grabbed the luggage and grinned at Angie. "Almost on our way!"

Cosette saw her parents' food and immediately lost interest in her own. She reached out toward it, making loud noises of displeasure. Sadie giggled then said to the baby, "No no, that's big people food!" Cosette pouted, but turned her attention back to eating the baby food. Sadie made plane noises, which kept Cosette entertained and happy.

Prudence pressed her lips against Evander's, practically beaming at the amount of contact they had that morning. "I love you," she murmured, over and over again, kissing all over his face, his neck.

Angie got out of the car and helped him with some of the cases as they got to the airport to go through check in, security, etc. She nodded and said, "I can't wait," as they got to the check in desk and such. Security was a pain, as per usual. 'Where are you going?', 'Why?', 'Do you have everything you need before you go?', 'Do you have family in London?' All the typically annoying questions. Still, they got through alright and soon they were in the lounge and in the queue for boarding.

Brandon chuckled as he started serving everything up to make it look at least sort of presentable, and then let everything wait, sipping at his coffee until Sadie was finished Cosette. He then said, "Alright, birthday girl, it's all yours for the taking."

"I love you, too," Evander murmured in reply and then proceeded to roll over again now that he was pretty sure that she'd already gotten her one up on him. He smiled against her lips and continued to kiss her for a while, thoroughly enjoying the morning's activities.

I know! I got a text from my friend and she said, "We opened a hershey's kiss and it had maggots in it. Throw all candies like that away."

Finally they got on the plane and sat down in their seats, which made Mikey very happy. He reclined in his seat and said, "I haven't been on a plane in a year! I can't wait until take off, it's so exciting!"

Sadie finished feeding Cosette, then started eating her own breakfast, enticed by the wonderful smell. "Oh Brandon, this is fantastic! You're such a great cook! I'm very lucky to have you around to spoil me." She giggled, then kissed Brandon's cheek and gave his hand a squeeze. "Thank you for being so thoughtful."

Prudence kept kissing him for a while longer, then pulled back just to smile and stare up at him. "You're such an amazing boyfriend," she said to him softly, running her fingers through his hair gently.

Man, that's bad. Still, if it was me, I don't think I'd be at a huge loss over Hershey's. Mum brought some back after her first trip to NY. I can't stand it.

Angie put her hand luggage under her seat and then sat back. She'd specifically asked Mikey if she could sit by the window, just because she loved to look outside when she was on a plane, especially when they were above the clouds and they looked like you could just jump on them. It was going to be a long flight, but she had Mikey to keep her company, and, with it being a nice airline, they had plenty of stuff at their disposal. She smiled and said, "And I'm hoping that this will be a lot better than the last time you flew out of America, anyway."

"Hey, it's my job.I love to spoil you. And you know I do, too," Brandon chuckled, starting on his breakfast as well, just putting everything on his toast together. "You are very welcome. You're worth it all and more; I could never repay you for what you give to me."

Evander smiled gently down at her. He always like to know that she liked being with him. He couldn't help but worry sometimes, just out of habit, although Prudence was nothing like his ex wife. "And you," he murmured, "Are a truly wonderful girlfriend."
