Hello hello! So again, I have good news, and I have bad news...
Let's start with the good news.

Tsu and Poppy are doing great! They slept well, and woke up with plenty of energy!
In fact, I caught them both singing together while I was checking up on them at one point. How adorable!
I really adore these guys....

After a little while, I sent them both to the arcade to play some games and earn some gotchi. Let's just say that Tsu earned a little bit more than Poppy. xD
(It's hard to play the games with two units at the same time! Next time I'll just play one at a time LOL)
Either way, they seemed to be enjoying themselves, and having a great time playing ping pong with me! Today was apparently a sports day, so it was either that or football, and I much prefer ping pong myself. (Tho the football game isn't bad, just not quite as fun to me!)
We went back home after some time, and then rested for the remainder of the morning and early afternoon.
Then, suddenly...

They both evolved! Tsu became an amazing Terukerotchi, and Poppy became a lovely Haretchi!
Both are absolute cuties, tho pls ignore the poop on Poppy's floor, lol! I didn't have the time to clean it up beforehand. xD
Now, it's time to get care misses with Poppy, as much as I hate to do it... But man, I want Momotchi!! So it's just the sacrifice I have to make...
Tsu luckily doesn't need any care misses, so he gets to be spoiled like he deserves.
I can't remember at what age these tamas evolve at, but I suppose I'll find out soon enough!

Now, onto the not as good news....
Buddy and Roswell slept and woke up just fine, and nothing seemed to be wrong. I checked on them early on, and made sure to feed them both and play a game or two to keep them happy. These seemed to be enough for Roswell, but for Buddy... He wasn't as excited, it seems.
By the time I got home from work, I checked on all my tamas, and I found that Buddy had passed away.

Rainbow candy swirl tamagotchi shell looks so adorable and beautiful! Condolences for buddy, though.

I am not into new-gen color screen tamas with their new gameplay options, but yours look so good. Maybe in the future I may learn more about them, though they are impossible to find where I live I fear.

I think the candy swirl shell is one of my faves for sure! It’s just so vibrant! And ty, he shall be missed, but I suppose it was time for him to go home.
And oh, well, I hope my log helps shed a little more light on the Pix for u! They’re definitely fun, but I understand not being inclined toward them!

Oh man, R.I.P Buddy.. What a good run though! Long live Roswell!! I love the evolutions of the Pix so far, super cute! Seeing the green out of the packaging makes me really want to get it! I may do just that! I'm enjoying these postings! Thanks so much for sharing ^^ Your pictures are awesome, by the way!

He did so well for my first tama run in a while, so I’m thankful for that! And ty, haha, let’s see how far I can go with my girl!!
Yes, the Pix chose such cute characters to have tbh!! The green one is definitely my fave, so I say get it if u like it!! I’m still tempted to buy the pink and blue to complete my set, but we shall see… And haha, ty for the kind words! I’m still mastering the art of tama photography, but I’m definitely better now than when I started this log. ^^

After the sadness of last update, everyone seems to be doing well this time around!
Roswell is still going strong, she's 12 now!! I'm checking on her a little more often, but she never seems to need me whenever I check. xD I guess it has to be on her time, not mine, lol. I'm hoping to get her to 20, but we'll see how that goes..! Maybe she'll even get over 20.

Now, onto Tsu and Poppy...



While miserable in these photos, the two evolved early this morning (and have since been fed and played with)! I was still in bed when I heard them, so I wasn't able to get photos of them during their evolutions, but I'm happy to finally have them regardless! Tsu is an adorable Shimagurutchi now, and Poppy evolved into a cute Sebiretchi!! While I feel a little bad both got these many care misses, I'm not at all upset at what they became! I think they're so charming, and very cute with each other, too. Speaking of....



I set the two up on a couple playdates! Similar to playdates they had before, Tsu and Poppy chased each other around, running and jumping and generally having fun together. After a bit, though, they got hungry and decided they wanted a snack! With their efforts combined (and a little of my meddling), they managed to make some tasty looking cupcakes. They ate them in a flash, and seemed to love them as much as the macarons they used to make together as kids! Eventually, though, they had to part ways for the time being, as Poppy had to make her way back home.

All in all, seems like today will be a pretty good day. :3
I'm so excited that Tsu and Poppy evolved, and that Roswell is doing just fine!

And in other news, I got some tama mail! I forgot to post about it yesterday, so here it is today.
Nothing too too exciting, but I love it all nonetheless! Very excited to have the other KH tama, and having the Shinji and Kaworu style Evatchi... Evangelion is a huge comfort show for me, so having it combined with one of my fave things is amazing!! I can't wait to run them... Maybe I'll try one once Roswell passes? We'll see!!

6/4/23 (pt 1)

Apologies for the gap in updating, I've been a little busy (shoutout to those who also watched SGDQ 23!), but I was able to sit down and play with my tamas for more than a few minutes at a time finally! So first, let's get the tama mail out of the way first...

SO Since my last update, I ended up getting a decent handful of things. xD
A couple of Smarts, which thankfully arrived safely from Japan, and a few other various tamas! The white V1 cleaned up really nicely, actually, so I'm happy I snagged it when I did. :3 I'll show that off in the log proper, lol, but for now here's some haul pics!

Now, onto the log portion of this update!
I hate to say it, but I guess I slept in too much, cuz Roswell ended up passing away on Friday... I woke up to hear her beeping like crazy, until she finally passed. I'll miss u my funny girl... She didn't even make it to 20, which is the part that's hard for me. I'll cope, but man, I was hoping for better....



Ah, well, since I got new babies in the mail, I decided to start up my new V1 and my old V1 together!
Which, hello, the white one I got looks so nice after being attacked by my fingernails, toothpicks, and some isopropyl alcohol:



Meet Boaji, in the green shell, and Batti, in the white shell! Don't ask where the names came from, I asked my friends in call and they gave me silly suggestions. xD So I kind of worked with what I was given, and landed on these names. Regardless, I love my little girls, they're just so cute, and I can't wait to see how they grow! I think I know what they'll evolve into next, since this is the first generation, but it'll be fun to see how they go after that!
Which, as I took care of these two, I was reminded just how charming the animations were on the V1?? So adorable to watch them drink from the bottle, and eat their little snacks!! It just served to remind me how much I love the Connections as a whole, haha...



After about an hour, the two cuties evolved into Marutchi! The cute animations are still here, thank goodness, I love watching them eat their little candy snacks!! I've been connecting the two, too, and letting them play games together! They're becoming fast friends already. <3

Now, I'll split this up into two posts, just because this is already so long. :'D

6/4/23 (pt 2)

Alright, so not a huge wait but. <33
Here's part 2, featuring Tsu and Poppy this time!



To start off with, I ended up playing with them both enough to max out their happiness, and much to my delight, they consider me a good buddy now!
Plus, they're both decently rich now after all the games we played, so I don't have to feel bad about going to the restaurant to feed them anymore. xD
They're both doing well, and are happy and healthy!
Just for fun, though, I decided to give them both an accessory, and let them play with their favorite items!

Tsu was a fan of the little drum I gave him, and loved playing with the paraglider!
Shimagurutchi is so cute, I really like him tbh. I'm happy I got him, even tho it wasn't on purpose. :3



Poppy, on the other hand, looked super cute with her little ribbon headband, and really liked doing tricks with her new skateboard.
Sebiretchi has really grown on me, I think she's so cute and cool at the same time...



All in all, the past few days have gone pretty well for my tamas, tho I know soon enough I will have to say goodbye to Tsu and Poppy. ;;v;; I believe it's when they turn 8 that they go back to the home planet, and they're both 6 rn... I will say, I still miss the marriage mechanic, and wish I could have my two tamas get married, but all's well, since they will send me an egg to take care of after they leave! I am looking forward to getting different adults, tho, so I'll be okay. xD Hopefully this time, I can get the characters I initially wanted!

I still have plenty of tamas I'm waiting on, but I'm waiting on a very special one in particular...
I'll definitely share once it comes in, because it's a tama I fell in love with and want to collect multiple of because I'm normal, LOL.

OH MY GOD. I love the V1. I mean I love both the green and the white. But the white one.. it looks like a proper egg. It makes me wish my V1 worked still. The simplicity is just so nostalgic ! Great find! Also that's the same Tama Smart I've been eyeing! (The purple) I love it! It's going to be so fun! I'm so enjoying seeing Poppy and Tsu, they have such fun personality and are both so charming. As always friend, great logging!

Yess the purple anniversary smart is sooo pretty - I love the translucent strap a lot. I have to find a time to run my Smarts cuz I am excited about them...

6/7/23 (pt 1)

SO much has happened since the last update, wow!
I have to break this up into two parts again. xD
Let's start with our faves, Tsu and Poppy!



Yesterday started with them having having dirty rooms - I promptly cleaned them up and their rooms, too!
Tbh I chuckled a little at them needing a bath, cuz this didn't need to happen if I was on top of bathing them and cleaning up. xD
Soon after that, tho... Something happened....



Looks like it's time to say goodbye. ;;~;;
Tsu and Poppy both sat me down to put together a photo album, which we also decorated, too!
(Both decided to paint their albums red, lol...)
It was kind of emotional to look thru all the photos I'd taken with them, especially the ones of them together as children...
I chose my favorite images, and was soon handed a copy of the album by both of them.



Looks like I spent enough time training Poppy, because right before leaving, she became a gymnast!!
Tsu wasn't as focused, I guess, haha. xD
Either way, both went back to the home planet, and when they arrived....



They both looked thru their photo albums, and ended up crying!! ;;o;;
To be fair, I missed them, too, so it made sense for them to miss me as well...
I guess I took good enough care of them, as they both decided to send me a new egg to care for in their places!



Tsu chose a sweet pink egg, and Poppy chose a smart blue egg...
Which hatched into a little girl, and a little boy, respectively!



I decided to name the girl Mimi, and the boy Sparrow.
Idk what inspired me, but I like these names a lot! I hope they grow up to be as cool and cute as I want them to be. :3
Crossing my fingers again for Momotchi, and for Sparrow, I'm hoping for KuroMametchi!
I need to keep better track of care misses, but tbh I'm kind of bad about that so I'm hoping for the best.

Either way, once they got their fill of milk and some snacks, the two evolved!



What adorable little tamas! Mimi is Mimitamatchi, and Sparrow turned into Mokumokutchi!
It was fun to play with them, and see all their cute little animations, but eventually, they evolved again...



Oh! I got Soyofuwatchi and Mokokotchi!
Also very adorable tamas, tho I can't help but miss what they looked like before, just a little...
Ah, well, I'm not complaining! Now I just have to focus on raising them to be the adults I want them to be!

Now, let's check in on my V1s!



Both evolved into Ichigotchi!! One of my faves tbh, I adore them both. :3
I caught them taking a bath at the same time, which I thought was super cute~
It still looks more like a soup pot to me, but lol, I know it's not!
Additionally, I caught Batti singing right when I was leaving for work...



She's so cute. ;;o;;
I seriously love the animation on these, they're so charming and sweet... I want to see more, but there's no shop on this version!
Oh well, I guess I just have to run my V2s next if I want to use items like I'm used to. xD

Both Boaji and Batti stayed little strawberries for a good couple days, but before I knew it....



My girls evolved! Boaji into Tarakotchi, and Batti into Masktchi!!
Honestly, I wasn't expecting them at all, but I'm not upset by what they evolved into. <3
Both are very cute adults, and I can't wait to see their funny little animations!!
I'm so curious to see who they marry, too... But all in due time! We have a few days still together.

And, as always, here's another small haul!
I got an OsuMesu set, like I've always wanted, and I'm genuinely so excited to run them together in the future, as these tamas fascinate me.
I think I'm just a fan of marriage in tamas in general, as I think it's cute and fun to let my tamas marry and have babies!
Let those little guys live their best lives, haha. <3




I got a bonus green one, as well, that I'll need to find a partner for, but otherwise yesss I'm so happy I got the anniversary set!!
All of them work just fine, thankfully, all there is is cosmetic flaws, but I don't really mind that considering what I paid for this whole set. <33
They work, and that's what matters to me! I'm not really here to collect only things in perfect condition, as tbh, I think things with scuffs and scratches are kind of charming, in their own right. I just did a light cleaning to get rid of dust and dirt, and they're set to go!
Now....
Just a few more things to look forward to in the mail...
I'm really excited for them!!

Yes! I'm so excited for the OSuMesu set too... I have so many new tamas to run but man I do want to run them together rn, tbh... (I can't imagine running 6 tamas all at once tho LOL) The clear set is really good, omg, I totally understand wanting it. I kind of want all the shell colors and pairs, I just love how they're designed!

I'll definitely miss Poppy and Tsu, but it's nice to have new babies to take care of, too. :3 I figured u might like the names LOL ty!!

Okay but if u do hunt down some V1s, good luck!! I'm glad to have inspired u into wanting some, too! They're such fun models, it's hard not to love them. (The perfect egg shape is such a bonus, too!)

And tbh, I store my tamagotchi is soft cases/pouches if I have some (I use baby mittens for carrying my V1s and vintages! A handy tip I picked up some time ago; for larger models I have some larger mittens and handmade pouches), and I carry them in a smaller shoulder bag I have! I carry my water bottle everywhere, so my tamas just join it in my shoulder bag, which also has some pockets for smaller models, so it works out well. I should invest in a tama-specific bag, but I haven't done much research/found many that are still in stock. >w>;;

Long time no post!!
I've been horribly busy but I do have some updates, so let's get into it.

Very briefly, Sparrow ended up passing while I was sleeping over the weekend. Mimi still lives tho, and she's going strong! She's 7 now, so I'll have to say my goodbyes soon. I'm thinking I'll take the batteries out once she leaves, as I've had my fill of the Pix for now + Sparrow died, so I have to start over completely on that unit, face palm, and that leaves me a little bummed out. Ah, well....

Onto the connections!
A lot happened between the last time I posted and now, haha. Boaji and Batti evolved into adults, right?
Well, before I knew it, the matchmaker came and set them up with some cute tamas!
Mimitchi for Boaji, and Memetchi for Batti. :3



It was a whirlwind romance. Before I knew it, the two had babies of their own to take care, both little girls!
I didn't get any pictures apparently, but Boaji and Batti were very caring and sweet with their babies, who ended up sticking around for a couple of days. It was very cute seeing the grown up girls interact with and feed their babies... Once again, the animations are just so delightful on these tamas!
Sadly, tho, it was eventually time for Boaji and Batti to leave for home, and in the middle of the night, they took off.... Leaving their baby girls behind.



The two woke up in tears. It was sad to see their parents go, but after a little bit, I decided to name them and begin to care for them. In the green shell, we have Salad. In the white shell, we have Egg. Put them together, it's... Egg salad, lol! I thought it was suiting and funny at the same time. xD
It was a breeze taking for of these two, because soon enough...


They evolved! Salad into a Kinakomotchi, and Egg into a rather appropriate Marutchi.
It's interesting to see them become different tamas this time around, based on the parents they had!
These differences are further highlighted by what they evolved into next...



Young Mimitchi and Oniontchi!! Wow, seeing these two really brings back memories. :'D
I feel like I got Oniontchi more often than not back when I was a kid, and Young Mimitchi was always a special surprise when I was younger, since I had no clue how evolution and care worked when I was a kid, haha.
The animations to continue to be cute and silly, I love them so much!! Egg and Salad are such charming little stinkers. I can't wait to see who they become in a few days...​

In a small addition, I got one of my favorite tamas in the mail a couple days ago!!
I'm over the moon, I've been in love with this shell for a while now, so actually owning one is so amazing...
Plus, this is my first Japanese connection-era tamagotchi, so exciting!!
I couldn't help but start it up. xD



It's tricky to photograph the red pixels well, but I did my best with the camera I have. xD
Right now I have a lovely Tomatchi!! Very curious to see what she evolves into...
For now I've just been calling her Chu, since I don't know Japanese well enough to be naming things in the unit itself omg.
For now tho...

Haha, tysm! I love Egg and Salad a ton too, they're due to evolve soon so fingers crossed for Mimitchi... My fave girl!
And yeah, in my room where I get no natural light, it's definitely hard to see them sometimes, but at the office I work out with lots of natural light, it's easy to see! Very funny how that works tbh.
