Which is why my mom never let me shave my legs or arms. She made me (And still makes me) wax my arms and legs. I find that a little painful though x_X.

Yeah, this discussion is fine. Starting shaving is an activity that both guys and girls tend to commence just before or during puberty and is very much a part of growing up. Many experience a lot of pressure from others to start shaving with comments about being hairy etc.

Scientists like to tell us (or so I remember reading) that our hair doesn't actually grow any thicker or faster after shaving... I find this odd because the hair on my legs that has been shaved is a great deal darker than the stuff above my knee... and I know it grows faster the more I shave!

i don't shave. i use nair coz if you shave the hair comes back even darker!

That's why you continue to shave once a week. Also unless it's summer, nobody but you should really be seeing your legs o.o' Dark hair isn't that bad so long as you keep shaving it. Otherwise nobody will know.
