Jessica was slightly wide eyed, before saying in a dull voice "So you're one of them, huh."

"Yeah, for about an hour." Lucien said, before looking at Nicola. "You okay?"

Damien coughed up some blood, and slowly got up, pulling the knife out of him.

"Fine." Nicola scowled, getting to her feet. "Now shut up and finish off the girl." She told Lucian, not noticing Damien getting up.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you..." Damien muttered, throwing the knife into Lucien.

Lucien fell right to the ground in pain.

Nicola snarled at Damien, hands clenching into fists as she dived at Damien. However, she only pushed him away before diving at Jessica, pulling her to her feet. "One move and I snap her neck. It would be too easy."

"What so you want. I'll do anything, just don't hurt her."

"Mm... nothing, really." Nicola shrugged, tightening her grip on Jessica's throat and causing her to wince in pain. "This is just fun really, and a chance to test out my latest project."

Damien fell to his knees. "Please Nicola, let her go. I'll do anything you want."

"Anything?" Nicola asked, beginning to enjoy this.

 

[YellowJedi]

"Yes, anything." Damien repeated.

 

[tamaturtle]

"Okay." Nicola grinned. "Kill her. Or I'll do it myself and it will be painful."

 

[YellowJedi]

"Well, I meant anything to keep her alive." Damien told her. "Please, I'll let you kill me, just leave her alone."

"Oh, really? How pathetic." Nicola grinned. "I might just keep her myself then."

Damien frowned. "Please Nicola, kill me instead."

 

[tamaturtle]

Nicola paused, tilting her head as she pretended to think. "Hm... no." She glanced at Lucian. "Do me a favour and restrain Damien."

 

[YellowJedi]

Damien pushed Lucien away from him. "Nicola, please spare her." he said, before forming an idea. "If you let her live, I'll turn her into one of us."

"And what would be the fun in that?"

Damien thought for a second, before quickly pushing Nicola away from Jessica. He brought Jessica to the corner, and stayed in front of her.

Jessica slumped against the wall, trying to see past Damien. "What are you doing?"

 

[YellowJedi]

"Protecting you." Was all Damien said.
