Dreams of Pokémon

[Aquangel]

Sarah put on her roller blades. "Piplup!" She called. "Piplupp!!"

 

[YellowJedi]

"Yeah, I need to return him. Then it's off to the first gym." Eon told her, getting off his skateboard. He stepped on the end, launching it into Eon's hand. "I see you're going solo."

 

[Aquangel]

"Piplup! Pip! Pipllluuppp!!!!!" Sarah gasped. She could hear the piplup, but not see it. She turned to EchoSong. "Can you find Piplup?" She asked her partner. "Snivy, snii!!" EchoSong nodded and jumped off Sarah's shoulder and run off with Sarah on her heels. Sarah soon found the Piplup stuck in a deep hole. "EchoSong, use vine whip to pull up Piplup!" As soon as Piplup was out of the hole it fainted. "Poor baby." Sarah murmured to it as she picked it up. EchoSong hopped onto Sarah's shoulder. Sarah headed to the pokémon center.

"Some things you just gotta do yourself." Miranda said, raising an eyebrow at Eon's little skateboard trick. Then she grinned. "Although, I could do with a companion to thrash every now and then. Help kep my Pokemon healthy." She said, before stepping back onto her skateboard. "You go off and play the rescuer. I'm off." She said, rolling into the long grass before glancing back at Eon. "Name's Miranda, and it's up to you whether you catch up or not." She said, before kicking off properly and moving away.

 

[Aquangel]

"Here we are." Sarah whispers. "Nurse Joy, can you take care of this piplup for me?"

"Sure."

Sarah sits in the pokémon center waiting room.

Eon thought for a second, should he do the right thing and go return Chimchar, or should he go with Miranda, who seemed like she would be a good companion? "Listen, I'll catch up with you." he said, before quickly going back to the lab.

 

[Aquangel]

"Your piplup is healed!" The Nurse Joy called.

Sarah collected piplup and run into the lab.

Eon dropped of the pokeball in the lab, and released Charmander. "Listen, we need to catch up to Miranda." he said. Charmander nodded. "Char!" and with that, shot out a burst of fire from his mouth, which combined with Eon's kicking, sent them very fast in the direction Miranda had headed.

"Sweet, level up." Miranda grinned, watching the youngster she had just battled run off before pocketing the money he'd given her upon her win. Sighing, Miranda looked down at her Cyndiquil. He was still going strong, and Miranda let him jump on the skateboard as she moved along. "You're not exactly one of my higher level Pokemon, but hey, I guess you've got a certain charm." She shrugged.

Eon saw Miranda from far away, her red streaks in her hair making her easy to spot out. He quickly went over to her, finally putting Charmander back into it's pokeball. "See you've been having fun." He said, keeping up with her. "Honestly, I thought you'd be farther along by now, but you must have been battling a lot, right?"

"Yep." Miranda said, putting her Cyndiquil back in its Pokeball and picking up speed a bit. "I'm used to high level pokemon and battling. I need to reach my standards." Part of that probably involved getting other Pokemon, however... hm. A plan started forming in Miranda's head, but she knew she'd have to wait to carry it out. For the meantime though, she'd go along with this guy. "What's your name, anyway?"

 

[YellowJedi]

"Oh, I'm Eon." He said. "I'm from Saffron in Kanto, you've probably heard of it." Eon looked at Charmander's pokeball. "Charmander's my only one, although my family has a lot of pokemon that I grew up with, as well as being friends with Sabrina, the town's Gym leader. So I've always grown up around strong pokemon too, I guess."

"I'm Miranda, from Johto " Miranda gave a quick grin before raising an eyebrow. "Not bad. My parents and I... don't tend to make many friends." She said. "Ol' fire boy here is my only one I brought to this region." Of course, there was no need to mention she'd stolen it...

 

[Aquangel]

The professor emerged from his lab. "I'll get the others!" Sarah told him putting her roller blades on and zooming off. She zoomed back to the professor. "Omg! Sorry!" She said handing him piplup before rushing off again.

"Hm, seems like I'm the opposite. I tend to make friends pretty easily, guess I'm a likable guy." He laughed a bit. "As for my parents, well my dad is cool, only problem is he's not around a lot, always on business trips. I haven't seen my mom in ages though."

"Whoopee for you." Miranda said sarcastically. "Cool, what does he do? My parents are... rangers." Miranda lied. "They don't tend to socialise much."

 

[YellowJedi]

"Well, uh... He's the president of Sliph co." Eon said plainly, trying not to sound like all the other snobby rich kids he used to go to school with.

"Really? Wow." Miranda raised an eyebrow. "Think you can get me a few masterballs on the cheap?" She sighed, grounding to a halt. "Have you got a map on you?"

Eon stopped his board. "No, but I have this." He said, pulling a pokegear out of his pocket. He opened up the map. "We need to get to Jubilife, then head on over to Oreburgh."

 

[Aquangel]

Sarah eventually came across Eon and Miranda. "Eon! Girl-who-I-don't-know-her-name! The professor is ready!" She panted.
