"It... it's okay." Faylinn said quietly, wiping her eyes and hugging herself, keeping her arms tightly wrapped around herself. "I wonder what happened at school... I think we were with the council for at least a day!"
"Sorry, but exactly how many dead bodies were there?" Faylinn laughed, moving to the end of the alleyway.
Scarlett had gone to her room, but was pacing up and dow angrily. She was still fuming about the two getting away, and had already sent people out to track them.
Once again Faylinn couldn't help but flinch at the body, before her own urges took over. Pretty soon there were two dead bodies left on the floor. "Ball's in your court!"
Faylinn kept going for a little longer before stepping back, deliberatly not looking at the floor. "Okay." A pause. "Damien... this'll sound weird, but... can I have a hug?"
Faylinn made a small noise, burying her head in Damien's chest. "It-it's just... everything that's happened, I... felt like I needed one." She mumbled, wiping her eyes again. "T-thanks."
"Thanks..." Faylinn repeated quietly, staying where she was. Then she tensed slightly, her eyes flicking upwards for a moment before she 'spoke' again. Damien... don't look now, but i don't think we're the only ones here.
Damien frowned, and looked up. He kept on of his arms around Faylinn, and used the other to blast the immortals with energy, killing them without even trying.
Faylinn nodded, stepping over the various bodies. "Well, I didn't think they were going to give up." She said weakly. "What're gonna do? They'll send stronger ones no doubt, and we're only vampires. God knows what they are."
Damien blushed a little. "No I couldn't. I've noticed my powers are a lot weaker when you're not around. That, and I like having a friend." he admitted.
