"H-hardly anything, other that his name's Damien and that he's a vampire." Faylinn admitted, getting to her feet. "Who are you? Wherr the heck am I?"

Eon smiled happily.

"Abythung else? Don't lie, it will only turn bad for you"

"I'm not lying!" Faylinn insisted, clenching her hands into fists to hide how nuch she was shaking. "And I asked you something."

"All in good time. Has Damien told you about the council?" the boy asked.

"No, but someone else did." Faylinn said, wanting to burst into tears when she thought of Ember. "Why?"

"So, do you know of our laws?" he asked. "More specifically, which ones has Damien broken?"

"I- I've only been immortal for a day, if that! I only know of the council, not the rules- wait." Faylinn's eyes widened. "Did you say you were on the council?"

"Yes I am, now tell me. Out of these things, what has Damien done with you or have told you about him doing? Killing other immortals, revealing himself to mortals, killing mortals in broad daylight, befriending mortals, drinking from a mortal but not killing them, turning someone into a vampire without us approving, or falling in love with a mortal." The boy asked.

Faylinn swallowed, looking down. Oh, Damien, what the heck have you gotten me into... "None." She said, meeting the boy's eyes, before groaning and looking down. "Alright, I lied, all of them..."

"Okay, we need to know specifics. Go through that list, and tell us who the law that he broke relates to. Then maybe we can help you..."

Faylinn chewed on her lip, before glaring at the boy. "No, why should I? It's not like I know every single rule he's broken and the way he's done it... like I said, I have no idea about any of this."

"Do you want to be a vampire?" was all he asked. "Because I can fix that."

"What has that got to do with anything?" Faylinn asked, before sighing. "And well, it's not like I had much choice in the matter... but still. I guess I'll get used to it."

Faylinn shuffled awkwardly. "I... I'm not gonna tell you anything about him."

"Why not? Please tell me you don't have feelings for that lawbreaker *^#&()$^" The boy frowned. "He needs to pay for what he has done."

"So why not deal with him before? Why wait for me to get involved?" Faylinn took a step back, frowning. "Where are we, anyway?"

"This is where the council meets and decided laws. Where we hold trials and whatnot." the boy explained. "And we needed someone who could tell us what laws he has broken, and who with. We needed a witness."

"If that's the case, shouldn't he be here instead of me?" Faylinn asked. "And I've barely known him a day!"
