Yeah. My average after the first set of results was 44.5 and you need 45 for an A*. How annoying is that? xD

"I'll teach you how to say a few more things, then people will be happy you tried and will speak English. I guarantee, most people in Paris speak very good English," Christien told her. He looked to the man who was sitting in front of them and asked, "The flight company, have they said anything about.. Um, let me think of the right word.. Compensation?"

"Oh, of course. Well, unless you're going back to your home, they've promised to put you up in any hotel you like and pay for all of your expenses. Either that or they'll pay you out the money they believe you're due," the man replied.

Christien said, "Excellent, thank you." He turned back to Elaina and said, "I know exactly the place. I want it to be romantic so I don't want us to stay at my parent's house, but, like I said, I know the perfect place to stay. It's a surprise, though."

Oh man. And they can't just round it? My B was a 89.6! And she didn't round it ):

Elaina pouted, accenting the jut out of her lower lip and whimpering softly. "You won't tell me? Aww, Christien, please?" She begged him, tugging gently on his arm and drawing out the word 'please' for a few, long seconds. Secretly, she enjoyed his wanting to make it romantic and surprising, yet, she was just so curious; it was her nature.

I'm not sure, really. Technically, I suppose you would, wouldn't you, since it's .5?

"Elaina, you may not know it anyway, it's not like I'm taking you to the Ritz," Christien chuckled. "Will you please just be patient for once?" he asked her, not particularly pleadingly but just hopefully. "I can only tell you that it's in Paris, it has amazing views and it's very, very beautiful."

Technically, someone should. So, therefore, don't you have an A*?

Elaina then realised, that yes, even if he had told her, she wouldn't know what to make of the information, so she shrugged and leaned back against the helicopter seat-padding. "Fine, fine. As long as you don't have to blind-fold me when we get there. Which will be?" She had directed the last question at the driver and shortly heard his reply through the headphones they had all been required to put on. "Soon, ma'am." 'Soon' wasn't really the answer she'd been looking for, but decided not to be difficult and just go with the flow.

Maybe. I'm not sure if my average is the same now, though.

"No, no. You'll see it as soon as we get there," Christien said, then added with a coy smile, "Blindfolding is too cliché for me." He just sat tight and watched out of the window, sea passing to cities, the number of buildings disintegrating into towns and suburbs, then villages, then just fields, before it all built up again over time. Eventually he smiled to himself as the distinct 'rues' of Paris appeared, and the Seine was visible. He pointed things out to her as they went along. "Aha, so here, is the l'Arc de Triomphe, and this road coming down from it, the most famous and best shopping street in Paris, la Champs Elysées." He looked upon the city excitedly, he hadn't been home in months, let alone the while they'd spent on the island. They landed on a helicopter pad on one of the more modern central buildings, and then got the lift down to the bottom floor. Outside, a taxi was waiting for them, and the crew that had saved them bid them goodbye, while Christien thanked them for saving them.

Hmm, I hate school so much haha

Elaina made her final goodbyes to the crew, thanking them individually for saving them before ducking into the taxi along with Christien. She scooted as far to the corner as possible, bringing her knees to the side and straightening up so she could gaze out the window again. The thoughts going through her mind were along the lines of 'I never thought I'd be in a taxi again' and other ones relating her previous state of being stranded. To distract herself from thinking about the island, she adressed Christien, "This place is beautiful, I'm so jealous that you live here. America is so unexciting, and what we haven't covered up with bland buildings, is poisoned by the excess of our luxuries."

Hmm, I understand that. I wouldn't say I hate it. I've been bored and sick and tired of working so hard lately, but I like school.

Christien nodded, "I'm very lucky to live here. It's a wonderful city. But, at the same time, while almost everything here has been kept lovely, the people are usually not. Americans were always very nice to me, but French people are very funny. They're quite.. Hostile, I think that's the right word. Not all of us, of course," he smiled, "But most are. I would put my hands up and say that we French are strange people. And the people are just as important as the city itself."

I generally like school, just at the last few months you just get so beyond sick of it haha. I'm sooo glad it's summer for me. Though, I've completely lost my ability to get up early haha

Elaina smiled at him, "Well, if you ever come stay with me in America,--which hopefully you will so I'll be able to show you around--you'll come to find that us Americans are only nice in certain states. I advise not going to Texas or Kentucky. California and Georgia are wonderful though." She put her legs down in front of her so she could move over to sit next to Christien, grabbing his hand once more. "And when are we going to get there? I'd kill for a shower." She added.

Yup. Only seven days left, though <3

"Well, I'd likevto come to Georgia with you. I was in San Francisco while I was staying in America." Christien ran his thumb over the top of her hand back and forth absentmindedly as he said, "If traffic's reasonable we'll be there in about ten minutes." It was the middle of a weekday, so most people were working, and so, traffic certainly was pretty good for a city centre.

Yay! That's good xD

"I'd love for you to come stay with me. The only real designated fun spot is the city, so we can go there, maybe to the CocaCola Factory. But after we see that, we'll just have to make our own fun." Elaina said, running through a map of Georgia in her mind, tapping her foot in thought. "And I'm so, so excited about the hotel. Because, if you say it's romantic, I'm sure it is. Also, wasn't the helicopter ride amazing? That was my first time flying in anything but a plane so I was kind of scared but the view was fantastic!" She rambled, due to pure excitement.

I know. And Elena's coming tomorrow night =D

"Well, I'd love to come and stay with you, of course," Christien smiled. "And it is romantic. It's very central to everything, so you can see the city at night perfectly and it's amazing. I've never actually stayed there, but I've been in when a friend from another part of France was staying. It would be nice to be able to afford to stay there," he chuckled, "So that's why I thought I should take advantage of the offer. And, yes, it was amazing, I never thought I'd get the chance to do that. The view was amazing." They soon arrived at a hotel that was on the corner of a wide city street which crossed with another. A classic old, Parisian building on the outside, and inside was a sort of contemporary yet very classic, French, ornate romantic feel to it. A room had already been booked for them-- that man was organised, Christien thought to himself, near the top floor, so a great view was assured. He took her up in the lift, card key in hand and then made their way to their room.

Ah sweet xD! Lol, random, but I saw the movie Killers last night and it was quite funny, and the scene for the first 30 minutes was France...it just reminded me of this haha

"Wow," was all Elaina's mind seemed to conjure while she followed Christien into the most beautiful building she'd ever seen in her entire life and headed to their room. It was all so amazing that she lost her grip on his free hand in her state of awe. When they'd finally reached the door, her excitement had progressed to the point of which she had to bounce slightly on the balls of her feet so keep herself in check. She always got like this with events she was looking forward to. Some refered to it as hyper, but Elaina liked to simply call it 'interested'.

I am going ice-skating so I'll ttyl tomorrow :) Night xD

Ahh, nice. Haven't seen that, eitherl

Alrighty, have fun. G'night :)

Christien was almost as excited as she was to get in. He slid the card into the slot, and it seemed like forever before the little light turned green and the door unlocked. He opened it for her first, motioning for her to go inside, and then followed. The room was huge, in terms of a hotel room, with enough space for a cosy seating area, with a few steps that lead up to where the bed was, and then the ensuite bathroom leading off of that. He looked around in utter amazement, and then headed for one of the large windows. A view stretching right over the rooftops that made up Paris. The eiffel tower stood just a little to the left of the scene, the seine running behind it and then the banks where Giverny and Notre Dame were on the other side of it. It was almost like he'd never seen the city before, the way he reacted. He just said, "Wow," for that was all he could say, and then turned to Elaina.

Good Morning! Lol

And it was really good. Also, Ashten Kutcher is adorable! Mhmmm xD

Elaina's jaw went slack when the door finally opened and she yelped with excitement, quickly heading inside the room and abruptly stopping in the center. After happily and thuroughly inspecting the room, her gaze fell on the king sized bed that was stationed near the corner by the large window of which Christien was marveling at. She plopped down on the bed, involuntarily cooing as her back hit the more-than-comfortable pillows. "Oh, Christien, this is wonderful!" She exclaimed, turning on her side and breathing out deeply, finally finding herself actually at peace.

Good morning, indeed.

He is pretty cute, actually =D

Christien smiled to himself and said, "I knew it would be perfect here. Just not quite this perfect.. The flight company must have felt really bad if they booked us in a room like this." He walked over to the bed and flopped backwards onto it, the most comfortable thing he'd ever felt, let alone in the last week or so. "This is going to be amazing," he murmured, mostly to himself, in fact. It was funny how he spoke to himself in English now after being around Elaina for so long.

Half the movie he had no shirt xD It was awesome haha

Elaina rolled over onto her back, placing both hands behind her head and humming in content. "I can't wait. Though, I should probably get a shower first." She placed a quick kiss on Christien's lips and headed toward the shower, once opening the bathroom door yelling 'Oh my gosh! The shower is huge!'

Nice B)

Christien said, "That's a good idea, I'll take one after." He was still lying down when she called out, then getting up lazily to see. When he got there, though, he just gaped at the size of the bathroom, and everything in it. "You weren't joking," he said with a chuckle.

Yeah, I recommend it haha

Elaina had already started undressing when Christien walked in, therefore she was simply standing in her underwear. Upon first walking in, one had a clear sight of the increadibly large shower that had magnificent sliding doors. Off to the right was a granit sink and off to the left was the pearl white bathtub. She skipped over to the shower, opening the door quickly and sliding inside, taking with her one of the towels that the hotel staff had placed near the sink.

Alright. The library might have it. I'll check it out.

Christien waited a moment before asking her, "Okay, so I'm going out to the.. Bedroom, if that's what you can call it, and I'll make a few phone calls. Unless you need help with getting any sand off," he chuckled, leaning against the doorframe while he waited for her answer.

The library? Has movies?

"Hmm, well would you like to help me get some sand off?" Elaina asked with a small smirk, progressing to take off her remaining clothing and turn the water on, jumping a tad in surprise when it came out already warmed.
