I would try putting different batteries in before worrying about your Tama Go. Batteries get old. Try buying a new pack of batteries and see if they work.

The thing is, my Music Star just says Tamagotchi at the top. The parents still take all the money even when there's a lot of it. It might be the European version, if it matters. I bought it on Amazon and it connects to my V5.5, so I'm not sure what's wrong with it.

My tamas eat baby food until they're teens and I still get good care characters. Mostly because I have a glitched Music Star and the parents take all the money when they leave, so it's either stock up on food for the next generation or baby food and hope mom and dad give some money as a gift.

It's just dirty. But the cleaning items, select the chest icon, pick the first option and scroll through items until you see the cleaning items. They make your Tama happy when you use them. At least they do in the iD L.

Yes, I've mated my Music Star with one of my TamaGOs. A baby will go to each tama.

Did you remember to press the reset button when you turned it on? V4s and V4.5s are somewhat glitchy with connecting. I think there's a topic around here somewhere that explains in more detail.

I think it's pretty durable on its own although dust gets stuck under the plastic faceplate pretty easily. I have an iD L that my cat knocked over and all it's missing is the reset button. Not the same as a P's, but it's pretty close. I recommend you get a Tamadeko Pierce or two to fully...

I've dropped mine and they still work. My cat even knocked my iD L off the couch and it still works. They're pretty sturdy, just remember to take the batteries out when you're not using them.
