Please HELP! Orange overlay (background)

Hi! My dad went to Japan and bought me a Tamagotchi P just recently as I requested it. It's been a long time since I played Tama and this is my first time to play a colored one. Errr... I am having a bit of an issue regarding the orange overlay that won't go away. This is what happened:

When I woke up and checked my tama(I overslept ), it was about to leave me (complete with bag). But fortunately, after I gave some medicine, it chose to stay. When it had this situation, the background (living room) had an orange overlay in it. Now, it won't seem to go away. I don't know how to make it go away. It's not hungry at all and the happy meter is great already, but orange thingy is still there.

Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance.

That means the house is dirty. Buy cleaning items (vacuum cleaner, sponge, mop) at Tama Depa and go to the chest icon. Each tool is for different rooms of the house. Use the vaccum cleaner and the room will go back to normal.

It's just dirty. But the cleaning items, select the chest icon, pick the first option and scroll through items until you see the cleaning items. They make your Tama happy when you use them. At least they do in the iD L.
