Zelda!

Kiro- yeah, it must be, but now you can get all those games on virtual console, so it doesn't matter much. I also have OoT and MM on N64 anyway. I think they also released Zelda 1 and 2 for GBA, didn't they?

Mm, nothing really new. There's an article about it (like stuff we know), and then there's a bunch of rather interesting Q&A with Eiji Aonuma. 8D This one I found the most interesting:

Speaking of puzzle design, there are new items, new combat, a new structure - will there be any new approaches to puzzles?

"Absolutely. We're thinking of new types of puzzles. Not only new types of puzzles, but new ways to implement Wii MotionPlus that'll allow us to solve puzzles in ways we haven't done in the past. One thing also that I'd like to mention is that sword itself has a treasure-seeking ability and so using the sword to seek out new treasures and hidden objects is something that we're going to do. I'd like people to look forward to imagining how we're going to use the sword for that."

Along the same line, with so many things changing, should we still expect to see Princess Zelda and Ganon in the game?

"Seeing that is is The Legend of Zelda, we can't have a game without Zelda! So I think it's safe to say we'll be seeing her. As to whether or not Ganon will be making an appearance, we don't want to make any comments on that as of yet."

Sure, a Zelda game's not a Zelda game without Princess Zelda, but I think the same goes for Ganon! 8D

Kiro- I doubt it. I think wolf Link was only in Twilight Princess and I don't expect he'll be reappearing in any future Zelda games.

Krystal- I'm kinda looking forward to a game with Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf in it, like OoT, TP, and TWW. I think those games are best because they have a main character representing the three triforce pieces. MM was okay, even though Zelda was barely in it and Ganondorf wasn't at all, but that definitely left something missing from the game. No Hyrule Castle either. I think we really need a refresh of the same sort of story as OoT, especially since this is supposedly before it in the timeline. Which makes me wonder if any of the sages from OoT will be in it. Or the Gerudos. That would be great!

OoT progress!

Last night, I got through the Gerudo Fortress, played the shooting game there and won both the prizes, and got the ice arrows in the Gerudo Training Grounds. I also got through the haunted wasteland to the Desert Colossus. This morning I played the first half of the Spirit Temple as young Link. So now I have the silver gauntlets and can go further into the temple as adult Link. I'm looking forward to getting to the end of the game again, the end of OoT is so emotional! I absolutely love it!

More OoT progress!

Finished the Spirit Temple this morning! Koume and Kotake were just as fun as I remembered, and even easier. I also got a lot better at fighting those Iron Knuckle things. They take away, like, six hearts if they hit you, but they're slow so you can back flip and then counter the attack really easily. Anyways, then I went to the Temple of Time and got the Light Arrows after that super long cut scene. Next is Ganon's castle!

Yeah, Koume and Kotake are from the potion shop in MM, but their first appearance was as the boss of the Spirit Temple in OoT, properly named 'Sorceress Sisters Twinrova' before the boss fight.

And guess what? Yesterday at Inochicon I bought the original Legend of Zelda for GBA! They had lots of old games in the video game room! 8D I played it last night and i already got into the first dungeon.

And Jae.... you can obviously tell that Shiek's NOT a guy by the fact that Shiek wears really tight clothing. See what I mean?

Sweet. I have the remake of the game for gamecube. I made a file but never really played it.

I AM NOT GETTING INTO THIS. I know Sheik is not a guy, but I still prefer to think of him as a separate character from Zelda. And what, you've never seen guys wear really tight clothing?

it's not that i've never seen a guy wearing really tight clothing, it's just that when they do, you can tell that they're guys, if you catch my drift.

Anyway, like i said, i got to the first dungeon, but when i saved and turned it off, i wasn't there anymore. I guess now I have to find it again (i forget where i found it) and play through the whole thing in one sitting.

Yesterday I bonded with an acquaintance of mine who i just found out is an extremely geeky zelda fan like me! 8D In band camp we have a LARP day (live action role play) and we're being Tatl and Tael from MM! I'm gonna be Tael. She has purple wings for me. x3 It's gonna be fun. My original idea was to be Navi and go around saying "Hey, Listen!" all day, and her original idea was to be Shiek, but this works out better.

Who has play Twilight Princess? I haven't finished it, my fave character has to be Midna! At the start of the game I just messed around, I flew with the chickens! LITERALLY.

Anyway, yes, our band is so awesome we have a LARP day. Yay.

Oh, I love Twilight Princess! Almost beaten it twice now. But I can't say I'm a fan of Midna... she's way to bratty. If you like characters that have that sort of 'attitude' or whatever, Tetra from wind waker was kinda like that, only not in a mean way, you know? She never managed to pi** me off like midna does. Maybe bc she's not with you the whole game. Well, then again she can talk to you through the stone, so yeah.

So. I had a dream with some Zelda in it last night. It was really...really...weird....

Also yesterday at tennis practice, I had random OoT music in my head. All I would hear is the Kakariko Village music. <3

I haven't had a Zelda dream in forever. ;w; Probably because I haven't played a Zelda game in a while. I've been hooked on Halo and Fire Emblem. Hehhh. OH BUT BELIEVE ME. I still love it to pieces. <3

Oh, Zelda music is the majority of what's usually stuck in my head. Very catchy tunes, that's for sure. Koji Kondo deserves a big fangirl hug from us~
