I can't find the wire for my GameCube. -glooooooooooooom-

That was a cool vid. :3 "Horses aren't supposed to talk" "Well, neither are you." "Touche Epona, Touche."

I played TP the other day and got absolutely no progress.

And Krystal, didn't we already establish that those fangirls were us?  I seem to remember this conversation.
--I also want to start Metroid Prime soon.
Yup, we discussed it, I was just bringing it back up since Jae said she played the STAR game. ;D

AND OMG, METROID PRIME. <33333

I. NEED. TO. PLAY. OCAR-- You know what? Goodbye. I'm going to play it now. I've got some free time, and I'm getting my butt off of the computer to go save Hyrule! xDDDDDD

TRIVIA TIME. Sorta.

You know Malo and Talo right? Well. Don't those names sound familiar at all?

Malon and Talon. And the STAR guy looks like Tingle. xDDDD

I played Ocarina. I did the Ice Cavern thing. I almost forgot about it. I was all ohyeahright. I thought of a Zelda fanfiction and remembered about the Cavern. xD

Malo and Talo! 8D I knew that. xD I love how Talon and that other farmy jerk guy look like Mario and Luigi. :'D

I got through the Ice Cavern too, Jae. :D I stopped at the Water Temple. That can wait a little while. xP

Awh dangit. Oh well. At least I know that I'll surpass you at the well and shadow temple. x]]]]

Ingo. Yeah Ingo! Thats his name. Doens't he wear a Boswer pendantthing?

Whoah, I totally did not realize that, lol. Malo, Malon, Talo, Talon. Nintendo's pretty original, for sure.

I loved Ice Cavern in OoT, for one reason: Link sneezes when you don't make him move around for a while. I swear that is the most adorable thing I've EVER seen. I just stood there for like 10 minutes. x)

Oh, Jae, did you just watch the first episode? Later when he gets the gale boomerang it starts talking, like "i'm the wind spirit that possesses this boomerang..etc." and Link's like "wait... boomerangs aren't supposed to talk!" and the boomerang says "neither are you" "...touche boomerang, touche" lol recycled jokes are still just as funny sometimes.

Yepyepyep. X3 I was sitting there forever just letting him sneeze. I was like, "Awh, you're colllllllld. Lemme hug you~" I hope my parents didn't hear me giggling. And wow. I just sneezed in real life. Weird. 8D

Jae, yuh. Talon wears a Bowser pendant, and so does Malon. Lol. I love when Nintendo does that.

I played a bit more today, got deeper into the Water Temple. :)

o_O so many posts!

yay the topic came back to life! XD

im playing spirit tracks right now. Those purple hand things really annoy me.

=)

What purple hand things? o.o

So yeah. I played Ocarina of Time.

I remembered why the Water Temple is the most annoying. I am doing better than my first play through though. I know my way around for the most apart. Except me and Krystal both screwed up and did the same mistake and we pulled the red block out and ended up blocking our own way. Meh. I also made it to the mini-boss door....to find it was locked and needed another key.

I was all like BARGGHGHGHGHGHG.

Oh goodness, there's so much stuff I DIDN'T do this playthrough of OoT. For one thing, I'm already past the water temple and still never learned the scarecrow's song... and a bunch of other stuff. xP But on my first play through I completed everything 100%. I guess I just got pretty darn lazy this time.

I never noticed that Malon wore a bowser pendant, that's pretty funny. Also, isn't there a picture of Mario and Peach and some other mario characters in Castle Town when you look in some window? I've heard that there is... but I've never actually seen it.

Kenza; yes, i hated those purple hands. ;-; They were so scary, especially when the spirit tower's all dark and then all of a sudden they show up. And I'm gonna warn you now they come up again later in the game. D:

Yupp. In the garden where you meet Zelda, there are images of them in the stained glass windows I think.

YOU GOT EVERYTHING 100%? Geez. I'm attempting to 100 this one, but I'll never get past the Gerudo training grounds. XD

Ah, I remember the Gerudo Training Ground. It really wasn't that bad, just watch out for the hands that come down from the ceiling, I totally wasn't expecting them. o_O What took me forever was that shooting game in Gerudo Fortress where you're riding Epona and shooting targets and pots and stuff. It took a while, but I eventually got the Biggest Quiver! And yeah, that also means i got ALL the skulltulas AND heart pieces, and also the upgrade right before Ganon's castle from the great fairy who doubles all your hearts (so it takes twice the amount of hits do do the same amount of damage to you). It was a lot of work, but totally worth it. This is the only game I ever completed 100% though. I'm planning on trying to 100 for MM.

Oh, I doubled my hearts in my first file.

I totally missed a lot of heart pieces and skultullas. Theres one in the Water Temple that I can't get because its behind a wooden cell thing that WON'T. OPEN.

Hmmm... I actually don't remember that one. My memory must be foggier than I thought. Getting the skulltulas was obnoxious because a lot of them come out only at night, and sometimes at the beginning of the game i'd go by one that i needed the boomerang to get and I didn't have it yet. And then later I'd forget about it once I'd gotten the boomerang.

Sooo if a newbie were to launch into the world of LoZ, would he/she get Twilight Princess for the Wii, Phantom Hourglass for the DS, or Spirit Tracks for the DS? =D

Twilight Princess. No argument there. Either that or Ocarina of Time. PH and ST aren't bad games, but they are regular Toon Link games. They don't really show the greatness of Zelda.

So. Twilight Princess all the way. 83

Sounds good! I actually don't like the appearance of the Toon Link games 'cause it feels weird playing through a cartoonish 6 year-old, but I thought maybe the gameplay made up for it.

Anyway...Twilight Princess. Hmm. :( Depending. I might save up for a PS2 to play Kingdom Hearts...we shall see. :kusatchi:

Yes, get Twilight Princess, and then you should get Wind Waker next. It's another toon Link game, but it's still got an amazing plot, and despite the cartoonish graphics is a rather dark LoZ game. It was the first game I played and I still LOVE IT.

But yeah, start with Twilight Princess, or, wait, you could also get OoT on virtual console/ the game cube version. That actually might be better, because OoT is undoubtedly the best zelda game EVER.
