is there like a speific store (exapmle- walmart) where they sell them?

Yeah, like everyone else said you can get the batteries anywhere. They're basically like wristwatch/hearing aid batteries.

Well, I usually go to chinatown and sometimes there's people who fix watches. They usually have the batteries for your tamagotchi. Best of all, they even install it for you! And it's cheaper than other stores, and they are in good quality too. But you can't always find chinatown. So they do sell them at watch stores, if you know any.
