Weird v3

My freind gave me her v3 and I'm so happy because I love the v3. Anyways, it looks kind of different from other v3s I've seen. I've seen the design before (pictures below) but the pictures of it that I've seen it has a ball chain (or whatever you call it LOL) ans it doesnt's say connection underneath. I think it's Japanese, but I'm not sure yet because I have to replace the batteries. The caution sticker on the back is in Japanese AND English, so I have no idea... if any one can help please do!

It's probably an Asian (Hong Kong / Taiwan / Singapore / etc.) Connection V3, and the writing is probably Chinese, not Japanese.

Actually, I bought some batteries, and everything is in English, so I'm not sure :/

I have Asian v3 and all things in tamagotchi are english.
