V5?

OK, so I have gone AGES without being allowed to buy a Tama, but my mom says I can buy a low-maintenance, buying-hassle-free (buying hassle means bidding on eBay, and spending all 2012's pocket money in advance). I have described the weight-free, easy-cheats-to-get-perfect-care-characters, I-have-had-one-before-but-it-broke-so-I-won't-spend-days-getting-to-know-all-the-games qualities of the V5 to my mom and it's the only one she's happy with. I can only get it Buy Now from eBay, or from Amazon USA (if that still exists, it did when I bought my first V5), both of which will mean a high price. Is it worth it? Pros and cons please.

Very good! i got mine for £10.50 including P+P but not sure how much that is in us {live in england} I think the only cons/ downsides are:

No mail

You can only really control the middle character

i dont think you can mute it {havent figured how to mute them}

You can only name the family name but then thats good because they can have as long as a name as YOU want!

Sorry if you ment about ebay.... But yeah they are really good!

Will {if you get it} it be in your log?

You can mute it. Press A+C when at the normal screen, and then change the sound from on to off.

Pros:

Games are challenging

The food and items are forever, not just one use!

They take two days to evolve during every stage

The designs are adorable!

They finally brought animations back!

No trying to catch the matchmaker, just go to the show.

The Tamatown's really fun

Cons:

Food's really expensive

Games get boring quickly...

They take two days to evolve during every stage (Yes, this is a pro and con because some people don't like the fast evolution)

If you get, say, a Kutchi family, you're stuck with them for, what, six days? Without any evolutions.

So... I'd get a 5.5 if I were you, but that's me.

Yes it sure will be in my log although I'd have to stop the iD L

If you've been following the log, I'm only allowed 1 Tama running at a time

No mail isn't really a downside. I don't like getting poops at school then having to feed it 3 snacks because I don't have time for games and it's lost 3 happy hearts.

I'm not US, but my dad is a total computer expert so he will be able to help me out. He's NEVER failed to buy a Tama for me, and only 2 of the 14 I have needed more than half an hour's fuss on eBay. (That was my Angelgotchi-that-wasn't-worth-it and iD L-that-was-definitely-worth-every-minute-of-my-dad-messing-on-eBay-and-every-penny-of-the-money).

Today, my parents took hardly any convincing to let me buy a V5. The only thing is, logging. Will I be able to log both my current iD L and the new Tama? I'm ordering it today after school hopefully, although sometimes I have to wait around for a couple days until my dad gets some free time and I get some free money.
