XD So true! Reminded me of when my cousin and I had a few drinks and she built a little matchstick house in my dads sink and set it on fire, it scorched the sink. Then we went out in the pouring rain running around like idiots. Yea... we had some corny fun......

Anyway I'm not offended, Tamagotchis are just a little plastic toy. Yes I enjoy them but I'm not going to the point of thinking they are alive. If that was an Entama they burned that was a waste of their money being how much they go for.(don't know haven't watched video) ah well. I don't really understand why people are getting so bent out of shape about this. Its not like they personally burned your tamagotchi. They did it to their own, which by rights they are aloud to do. Think of it this way:Yes tamagotchis are cute but they are just pixels. They feel no pain or hunger(real hunger anyway) There are real living animals who a suffering REAL animal cruelity.

I'm not really sure what I thought of that video...... it didn't amuse me though, but I'm not gonna go into the thing about, "How would you feel?" Because I agree, its a toy.... but its stupid, and possibly life-threating for those kids...... here are my thoughts about it:


1: Idiotic kids! Your wasting your money and threating your life. And poor tama... as a tama lover, it was slightly painful to watch that video.

2. Yes its a toy... your not blowing up a dog, but still! Is there any way we know tamas aren't alive? I'm sorry if I'm getting too goofy here but face it: We have no proof that a tama is paint and pixels only!

3. Amusing?? Not on my life! Okay, I blew up a My Little Pony once, but still! Tamas seem to be more valuable, right?

4. Offending? A little. But also (for me at least) disturbing! I don't understand whats fun about blowing up something! Ick...

5. Are they alive? I don't know. Tamas seem human to me at times.... rarely, but Dippy (my fave tama ever) seemed to be just a bit more than a toy......

6. Waste of money! Why not sell the Tamagotchi to some toyless kid who would love it?

7. Releif! Soooo happy my tamas are safe, warm, and loved.

Well, BANDAI worked hard on making Tamagotchis for everyone and now lots of members are saying the Tamas are just plastic! If BANDAI was here, I bet it would hurt their feelings, so be careful-you could get banned!

Just for the record I have 18 tamagotchis. If I didn't like them I think I wouldn't have any. For another thing people are aloud to express themselves how ever they feel as long as its apropreoite. Your post is just a flamer post hoping to get some antention to make you feel important. Like I said I LIKE tamagotchis but I'm not going to the point of actting like they are real. When it comes down to it I'd care more for a LIVING and BREATHING animal, that does feel REAL pain. REAL animals suffer from REAL ANIMAL CRUELITY everyday. If you want to put a toy before your real pets fine by me, but I'd take my two cats, hamster, and ferret anyday over a tamagotchi. They can be replaced my real animals can not.

I was looking through YouTube.com and found a very offensive video about tamagotchi's.

It shows two kids (think there kids anyways) setting there tama on fire and watching as it EXPLODES!!!!!!! I mean come on!

(if your tama is watching make sure to hide them from the screen so they don't get offended also)

Most of the people here DO NOT like tamagotchis.

They are here to chat of fun stuff, neopets, or other.

Lighten up ok..... I like like tamagotchi but they aren't real and I'm not going to get all bent out of shape over this youtube video. Just for the record I'd never destory any of my tamagotchi in such a way(have done surgries that failed instead of helped as I had hoped for). I've spent over $200 on tamagotchis just because I enjoy playing them to break up bordom and being lonely at work.

Ps: Nice Tamagotchi Choice Got the Green with Tropical Flowers V3 also. I can't stand the metal rings they come with so I used plyers to take off the metal clasps. I made my own. I tstuck with the tropic thyme and bought peices of shell that are for beads. Also got Pink beads with tropic flowers on them.
