Hello TT,

Many of the older tt-ers have seen or will be seeing the puberty video also code named th "VIDEO". I just saw it today (APRIL 30) and I am going to describe it, not to into detail.

Note this is the Girl Pubety Video NOT the BOYS!

Movie:

Well the girls and the boys separated ino 2 different classrooms and then the nurse came in ours (the boys got the two male teachers for the 5th grade) She talked about that we were going to see a movie about periods and we could ask questions later. She turned the tv on and the movie lasted like 20 min. at the most! It was the cast of the broadway production and the movie of Annie and they talked about being nervous about it and then getting it. There were a few deatailed drawings of like the uterous and stuff. And then a woman came on the screen and talked about the different kinds of pads and tampons! It was over shortly after that!

She asked if there were any questions and most of us stayed quiet, lol. Then the pasted out the bags; codename "GOODIE BAGS" Inside were a pack of pantyliners. pads, tampons, and a booklet. It came w/ a small bottle of deodarent. All wrapped in a brown paper bag! Overall it wasn't THAT bad, it could be worse.

Tell TT about your movie experiences!

Thanks for telling us about it. I have to see it next week if I'm correct. Now I know what to expect. Thanks!! ^_~

Heh, I never got a 'goodie bag' because I didn't go to my fifth grade video.

Last year we had a thing called 'Project Self Respect'. I dreaded it since the first time I heard about it- but it really wasn't that bad.

I was neverous about giving the permision slip to my mom because I hate 'the talks'. I didn't give it to her till the day before. She said she wished I had given her that slip earlier so she could talk to me about it but oh well. xD Lucky me.

Mine was about 7 years ago o.o So I don't remember much.

I remember the girls and guys were split into separate groups and saw both videos.

We never got bags though. I think the boys did but they were out of bags for girls or something.

I had to see it about a month or half a month ago. I t was really awkward. First we pushed all our desks against the wall an d the girls and guys split up. We saw THE MOVIE first, and the guys went and had THE TALK with the nurse. We got THE TALK after the movie. It was really awkward! We got our packets after spring break because we saw THE MOVIE the day before Spring Break.

Usualy they have a video of a flower blooming. o.0

I don't really know why though.

Our school is too cheap to get "Goodie Bags". Last year we had to watch the one video as a class, boys and girls. Luckily none of the guys made fun of us, but the whole class made fun of the movie.

So if you people are worried about the movie, dont be it's not as bad as you think.

But I did hear in grade 9 you have to watch a movie with someone giving birth. :S

omg! someone came from the hospital and told us about it! I am in 7th grade, but we had to watch it! the worst patr was that we had to play puberty jeopardy! :mametchi:

I saw that 2 years ago I believe

I'm on the Sex ed class now - oh the boys get a good laugh out of that

I'm sure they do. o.0

I don't understand why some of them can't grow up and be mature for once.

I know, right?!

Sometimes boys can be really immature.
