So my little Obotchi finally turn into what is called a Leaftchi according to the V3 chart. I gave him a costume to play with and he, of course, put it on and now I can't get him to take it off.

Please don't tell me this is permanent. How do you remove it if it is not?

All costumes can be removed, but by a special way. When you Tamagotchi foes to bed, that is when the costume will come off. If you would like it to come off earlier, then simply set the clock to it's bedtime and it will come off instantly! But be cautious: once the costume is off, you can not re-use it again.
