"Okay..." Morgan said, rubbing her eyes. She looked so young, and she curled up beside Asher, her head resting on his shoulder. Moregan had dozed off by the time Kyle pulled into the driveway and Morgan moaned, obviously not wanting to get up.

Oh, and sorry I still haven't responded to your message. I'm grounded from the computer, and so I've been using my iPod. Which sucks and is a pain.

When Kyle pulled up at the studio, Asher shifted, though when Morgan didn't move he stayed put for a moment, not wanting to disturb the way she was resting against him. Eventually he pulled her into his arms and picked her up, taking her outside to the car. He motioned to Kyle to open the door for him, so that he could put her down in the seat of the car.

That's alright :) Is this also due to your argument with your Mom last week?

Kyle opened the door for Asher and Morgan, and stepped back, watching Asher. He was delicate with Morgan, and Morgan still hadn't stirred. Once she realized she was in the car, she looked up at Asher. She mouthed a thanks, her eyes closing again.

DING DING DING! We have a winner! Haha.

Asher set Morgan down as softly as he could into the car, glad he'd managed not to stir her in the time he'd taken to get her there. He just smiled at her softly in return for her thanking him, stroking her cheek and hair for just a moment, frankly unable to take his eyes off of her for those few seconds. He then took his hand away, straightening up and softly closing the door. He gave a little wave to Kyle to say goodbye, before heading off in the opposite direction towards home.

Haha, oh, I'm too good. What do I win? Do I get a hug? I'm sorry to hear that, though. What a pain for you ):

"Asher, you're car's at our place. Let me give you a ride." Kyle called after Asher. [ooc: Silly boy, he almost forgot his car] Cody started playing with Morgan's hair, thinking that if Asher could do it, so could he. Morgan smiled in her sleep a litte, realizing how truly lucky she was. She had the best brothers in the world, plus a fantastic boyfriend who absolutely adored her. And of course, the feelings were mutual.

Yes, a hug and a cupcake sound sufficient. :)

Asher stopped, rolling his eyes at his own stupidity- gosh, he'd actually forgotten something, he must have been far too caught up in the moment- and turned around, heading back to the car. "I'm an *****," he chuckled as he approached, "I'd really appreciate that, thank you." He slipped into the car, as well, and watched with a smile as Cody played with his sister's hair, something he was doing only moments ago.

I totally forgot about his car xD I had it in my mind that he flew there. Like Superman or something.

More than sufficient. I look forward to it :)

It's okay, he has to have SOME flaws. :)

Kyle chuckled and started the car, driving home in the dark. Morgan's breaths grew deeper and steadier, as she fell into a deeper and deeper sleep. "So, tell me about how you met carrot top over here," Kyle told Asher.

Most definitely. I'd worry, otherwise :)

Asher chuckled a little bit at Kyle's question. "Nothing too romantic, I'm afraid. We both ended up in a Saturday detention. She saw me drawing, liked it and very generously offered me a pop tart when she decided she trusted me enough for that," he laughed, "Even though she was too scared to actually look right at me."

Kyle rolled his eyes. "Oh, Morgan. Her and her poptarts. I think that's what she lives off of, when it comes to breakfast foods. Hmmm. Scared? Honestly, I'm not surprised, what with all the sh`t men do to her. I'm surprised you even lasted this long."

"Well, then I suppose I feel all the more privileged for being offered one of her sacred pop tarts," Asher smiled. He nodded in agreement with Kyle about her being scared of him. "I'm kind of used to it anyway, but there was that on top of everything, of course." He wasn't sure what to make of Kyle's final comment, unsure as to whether it was a compliment or a genuine expression of surprise. "It's really been that bad for her, huh? Well, I want you to know that the last thing I ever want to do is hurt your sister. I care about her a lot, probably more than she knows- I'm too afraid to tell her just how much, because I know that scares her, too."

I should probably get some snooze. Cheerio :3

"What I mean is that before I left for the war, I remember that there was a new boy over every night. And I hate to say it, but I'm sure she was doing more than studying." Kyle said, pulling into the apartment complex. Kyle nodded and added, "Thank you. She needs one stable man in her life, that's for sure. I'm sure eventually she'll be ready to hear it. You'll just have to wait it out. And if she freaks out on you, or gets to be too much, just take her to the studio. Or back here, with all of her art supplies. Those are the only things that calm her down." Kyle turned off the car and helped Cody out. Morgan finally realized she was home and stirred a little. She unfastened her seat belt and trudged out of the car, not looking like a happy camper.

"Believe me, I've heard as much," Asher replied, nodding slowly a few times. "But I think she's different. At least, with me, anyway, probably because I'm different with her than other guys," he said. "I'll wait as long as it takes, I don't mind at all. She makes me happy, and that's enough for me." He got out of the car and fished in his pocket for his own car's keys. "Thanks for the ride," he said to Kyle, offering him a smile. He waved goodbye to Cody, and touched a very sleepy looking Morgan's arm affectionately, "Goodnight, Morgan."

Kyle gave Asher a pat on the back before helping Cody out of the car. Morgan waved good-night to Asher, smiling a little. She fought sleep until they got into the apartment, when she collapsed into a deep sleep on the couch. Kyle carried her into her room, laying her on top of the new sheets. Morgan curled up into a little ball, now far into dreamland.

Asher got into his car and took a slow drive home. Sam was still awake when he got home, curious to know why he'd been away for so long- after all, something must have happened. Of course, he knew it wasn't his place right now to tell her absolutely everything that had happened- in fact, there was not much he felt he should tell Sam at all, but she knew when to back off and was satisfied enough when he said, "It was an... eventful evening. Let's leave it at that." After that, Sam made them both some tea, and they sat on the couch and talked for a while, something they often did when they weren't ready to sleep, before they both headed to bed and slept, though probably not nearly as well as Morgan had.

TIME SKIP!!!!! :)

Morgan rolled out of bed at the sound of her alarm. She trudged to the shower, and once she got out, she pulled on some skinny jeans, towel drying her hair as she walked into the kitchen with a cami on. Kyle was making pancakes and raised an eyebrow at Morgan's outfit. "Ky- I'm putting more clothes on, I promise." Morgan rolled her eyes and grabbed a pancake, rolling it up and biting into it like a little burrito. She headed back into her room, grabbing an off-the shoulder blue shirt. She examined her stomach, deciding that it looked just as thin as it did yesterday. She threw her backpack over her shoulder, grabbed the car keys, and got into the car. After starting the car, Morgan started driving to school, turning up the radio when Katy Perry came on. Morgan was kind of in love with music by Katy Perry.

Asher was awake, drinking another cup of tea when he knew his alarm would be going off. He'd already showered and eaten a slice of toast, and was now lounging on the couch with his tea. Sometimes he just had days when five o'clock was the optimum time for waking up, and instead of trying to sleep when he knew he never would, he'd gotten used to just getting up while it was dark outside. By the time he actually left in the car for school with Sam in the passenger seat he'd been up for the best part of three hours. Sam switched the radio on, and, as they often did, they argued about what station. Asher liked Genesis on his way to school while Sam easily preferred Gaga, and eventually Sam won, and they listened to the pop station, playing Katy Perry at the time, until he parked the car at school. They chatted for a while, Asher knowing he probably wouldn't see her all day- you see, Sam didn't have his problem, and she had friends- before they went their separate ways to their respective lockers.

Morgan parked her car next to Asher's and got out, smirking a little as she watched he and Sam walk to their lockers. She turned in the direction of Sam, and walked at a fast pace, catching up with her. "Sam, I have an honest and genuine question for you." Morgan said, walking in time with Asher's sister.

"Oh, hey, Morgan," Sam smiled, slowing her pace a little and readjusting her bag on her shoulder as Morgan caught up with her. She had to admit, she had absolutely no idea what Morgan was about to ask her, other than that it probably had something to do with her brother, but she figured, coming from Morgan, she'd be able to answer it. "Well, then, I'm sure I can give you an equally honest and genuine answer," she replied, tilting her head to the side slightly, "Fire away."

"Does Asher have any flaws? Like, at all? Because he's way too close to perfect, and quite frankly, it scares the sh`t out of me." Morgan said, tucking a piece of curly red hair behind her ear.

Riley glared at Asher as he walked in. A gang of Riley's followers stood behind him, ready for action. "Hey, Asher." RIley called to Asher, "You. Me. Parking Lot behind the school. Three-thirty. I believe we have some unfinished business to take care of."

Sam chuckled a bit at her question, seeming very surprised indeed. "You don't think Asher has flaws? I think he'd be very flattered to know that, he certainly isn't his own biggest fan at the best of times," she told Morgan. "It depends on what you mean by flaws. I mean, some people would consider the fact that he's hopelessly untidy would be one. He's also pretty stubborn, at least with me or our parents. And, I mean... I guess he might have told you about...?" She trailed off, finding the words was difficult. She made quotation marks with her fingers as she added, "'Condition', as it were. He's difficult, you know, he's a man of few words and many actions that he mostly keeps to himself. Whether you think that's a flaw or not is down to opinion."

Asher flinched a little at the sight of all the guys in the hallway. He had no idea what 'unfinished business' there was now, but he tried to seem confident and said, "Alright, fine. Whatever. But I still don't understand what you want, or what's unfinished. You and Morgan are finished. Have been for quite a while."
